   There were not many people there so we had great, attentive service. The margaritas were excellent and well done. The food was very good, everybody in our party was happy. The service was everything we could’ve asked for. It was very empty at that time so I’m sure that helped.

   We visited the restaurant for our 7 pm reservation at 6:45 and was turned away and told that they could not seat us and they were not servicing anyone right now. I told them I made our reservation over a month ago and the man was was rude and had an attitude when speaking to me. Never said he was sorry or apologized but said “everyone wants to eat here but you can walk 5 minutes down the street to go eat”. If we wanted to go to whatever that place was we would have made a reservation there but we did not. We should have been called or emailed about our reservation to at least let us know they were going to cancel us so we could make other plans - just common courtesy. We will never come back to this restaurant. HORRIBLE customer service and very rude and not apologetic. We will also make sure everyone we know that stays downtown near this restaurant will not go to this establishment.

   When we arrived we were told that they were not taking reservatiins, when we actually had one. There are no waitress. We had to order at the bar and pay and then be seated We ordered guacamole and they did not bring chips Very bad service or no service at all! Food was ok, it could be better too

    Busy because of our Keller Williams Conference going on at the Convention Center but expected. Wait staff was amazing and the food was delicious! Wishing we had eaten here sooner and we would have come back again!

    food was fresh and tasty. servers were pleasant and understood we were under a time crunch. great place to grab lunch near the convention center that actually accepts reservations. Just make sure you let the hostess know and don't wait in the long line for walkins or you will have a longer wait for your reservation.

    Feeding a volleyball team before a game. 3 of us each reserved a table of 10. Service was adequate, slow, no drink refills, had to ask for menus. I ordered the kale salad which was fine. I added shrimp which was fine but the few small shrimp on my plate wasn’t worth the extra charge. Server accommodated separate tabs thankfully. My daughter ordered chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. The sour cream sauce was just a thick sheet of sour cream covering her food. Most of our party thought their food was way too greasy. Servers added 20% gratuity to our bills.

    Restaurant was kept very cold. Waiter was helpful. Ceviche wasn't my favorite, and I'm a huge Ceviche fan. Probably won't come back.

    Service was poor. Waited 15 minutes before our waitress came. Didn’t see her for long periods of time while we were there, and the restaurant wasn’t even packed. Took forever for drinks to come out and we were there for over an hour before we even got to order food. Tacos were great even though it took over 30 minutes to get them. Queso wasn’t very good. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

    It was an awful service. The staff was rude, it took a while for them to ask for our drinks. Then, the bartender came to take our orders at the table, and asked us to ask both drinks and meals at the same time. The guy was very rude. It took another while for getting our drinks, the margaritas were served in a highball glass, and one person in our group, who order a sparkling wine, got it served in a glass!. After an hour or so, we asked for our orders, one person after another send us to somebody else, until finally the bartender came to our table and figure out that the order was never placed. They cooked our order so quickly (their cooking are is behind a transparent glass), that it was like the put the food in a microwave. Finally, they did not charged us for the food, albeit it tasted horrible. We never complained about the food thought, we just wanted to get the check and get out of there It took another while for us to pay the check, I had to go to the bartender to pay my bill. It is very odd, and it is very clear that whoever owns the restaurant is not taking care of it. Every restaurant around was packed, this was the only one with availability, it was half full, now we know why! Terrible experience.

    Food and service was great. We went for lunch two days in a two!! Booth seating is better than the chairs. Seat is short so if you are taller than 5’ you will feel like you are sitting on a child’s chair. Other than that it was fabulous!!

    Overall it was good. The only disappointment was my opentable reservation was not available when we arrived. They wanted to seat our party of 6 at 2 different tables when we are a party of 6 that wanted to sit together. We ended having to be seated at 2 tables. I use opentable to know if there is availability ahead of time.

    It was Valentine’s Day dinner and we arrived on-time to our reservations which didn’t matter because the place was pretty slow upon our arrival. We sat down pretty quickly and got some chips and salsa, but it took us 15-ish minutes after sitting down to get a waiter because someone finally noticed that we hadn’t been helped. Thank God for the wonderful waitress we ended up getting because she turned it around for us or else this would’ve been a terrible experience and also, the free dessert at the end helped.

    The green house margarita sucked. Other than that food was great and service amazing. Music was spot on. The only problem is the bar crew, very slow and drinks were disappointing.

    If you’re staying at the Dallas Omni, Café Herrera is the best place for a quick meal at the bar (say hi to Nina) or a casual evening meal, decent tequila selection and some excellent Mexican food. A couple of my faves are the queso fundido, enchiladas with an excellent mole sauce, fajitas and the chimichanga.

    Food tastes great. The service was friendly and fast. My drink was very good too. The menu had several good choices for my party including a very picky plain food eater, a vegetarian and 2 who love spicy hot. We were all happy.

    Ate here tonight while vacationing in Dallas. Good location near the sights. Food was excellent, prices were reasonable. Nice atmosphere. Only very minor complaint was that the service was a little too good- it felt a bit rushed perhaps because it was a Sunday night ( although it was only 7:00).
