Cafe Gratitude - Venice
As always, everything was great. The food is always spot on and the service is exceptional.
Great food, great service. Will come back when we return for sure.
So good that I had to come back twice in the same week!
Amazing food & service at Cafe Gratitude, like always. Had the Ayurvedic latte & açaí bowl, and they were both delicious! Add cacao powder to the latte! Yum.
We had the best time here! Food, service, and ambiance were all so great.
Amazing food! Wonderful staff. Grateful we dined here :)
Great vegan food for nine vegans. Coconut calamari was awesome.
The best menu, the best ingredients...I wish I could eat it every day!!!!!
The food we had was pretty greasy. We ordered the mushroom sandwich with fries. The fries were awful. They were burnt and greasy - McDonald's fries are a 100x better. The sandwich was okay, again the mushrooms were super oily. We also ordered a pizza - I thought the dough was pretty bad, but my companions liked it. We also ordered calimari - which was tasty, but again pretty greasy. The service, however, was good. And the ambiance was nice.
They have super healthy and delicious food! I love it! I tried vegan ice cream! It was amazinging! I will come back again!
The service was slower than normal tonight. Granted it was a little more crowded than usual, but there didn’t seem to be enough communication between the kitchen and the servers.
Staff was not knowledgeable about menu and they were out of many menu items
Some beautiful dishes, and a soup I wanted to stick my face into and live in. Some of the dishes were more creative than others, some were just warming and brilliantly flavored. I loved eating there. The service was excellent and attentive without feeling cloy. I loved the servers and thought they really helped curate the experience with excellent recommendations and attentive service. I was on my own that night, but they really made it a warm and fun experience.
The basic coffee doesn’t taste super great for $4. Why isn’t there a pour over option?
We've been to Cafe Gratitude a few times. The food is always good, fresh & healthy. The service is always friendly. Highly recommend it for a casual, healthy, conversation filled meal.
I’m not vegetarian but food taste good. I’m looking forward to visiting again and try new food.
The food is really good!!! A must when in Los Angeles!!! You have to try the Buffalo Cauliflower!!!!!
Cafe gratitude is a feel good place with really good plant based food. I came here with a friend and we split the buffalo cauli and I had the enchiladas as my main. It was tasty. Service was good and timely. Will definitely be back.
As a vegan, I would call this one of the best in LA. Great food and staff
The service was really bad. I asked for coffee and when it finally arrived it was cold . I had to send the food back twice and ended up without lunch
Grateful for Cafe Gratitude!
Great vegan vibe! Our family really enjoyed our long dinner on the heated patio.
I am humble and opulent! If you visit Cafe' Gratitude you will totally understand why I say this! Cafe' Gratitude is a must visit!
Server was very nice but absent a lot. Great scenery. Easy parking in the garage. Clean bathrooms. Very over priced food ($16 bean burger!) that doesn’t equate to good tasting food. Manager literally charged me for half a meal even though I didn’t eat anything but the fries because the bean burger was so awful. It’s a skip for me next trip.
Amazing food. Amazing experience. Will surely become a regular.
A wonderful meal full of unexpected flavors, both savory and sweet. The intention, and attention, always pays off at Cafe Gratitude. Can't wait to return to try more new dishes.
I chose cafe Gratitude for our staff dinner, we were a group of 6. It was such a calming and intentional atmosphere that helped foster meaningful conversation with my group. The food was exceptional, all plant based organic meals. 100% would recommend for any special occasion, or just treat yourself to donning here anytime!
A wide variety of vegan and tasty food for all to enjoy. Good choice of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Service was excellent.
Delicious breakfast & good juice.
My romantic vegan place close to LAX departures or arrivals ❤️
We wanted a healthy breakfast. It was really yummy. Gluten free and vegan. It’s a bit pricey but great quality. No eggs here, so dont come starving or expecting traditional breakfast.
Cafe Gratitude was our favorite choice of dining in California. Neither of us were vegan, but we loved the food so much we went twice. The food, teas, and juices are filled with the healthiest ingredients and the service is fun. You’ll walk out with more than a positive dining experience from Cafe Gratitude.
I love Cafe Gratitude! The setting, the service, and the food are all phenomenal. Love going here for all the vegan options and some gluten free as well.
Delicious, fresh food. Healthy, organic, GF, and YUMMY!!!
Even with a power outage, dark kitchen and much longer than usual wait Cafe Gratitude Staff pulled it off and everything was delicious!! Our favorite "go to" restaurant when in Santa Monica/Los Angeles area!
Wish we had one in Santa Barbara!!
Yes had the SF mission burrito had a nice kick to it and very filling.
A great spot for vegans and for omnivores looking for variety; especially good for a group of vegans, vegetarians and omnivores since there are choices that all adventurous eaters will enjoy.
For omnivores, the soups, salads, roasted veggies and casseroles work better than imitations of classic carnivore food like the burgers which, although edible, are less successful.
The spicy dishes are mild; if you want vegan hot, local Indian restaurants do better, albeit with mixed menus not strictly vegan.
If you do all your shopping at strictly "natural" vegan outlets or Wholefoods, the prices should not seem particularly high. There's a limited but reasonable variety of beers and wines.
Many of the staff earnestly adhere to the mystical spiritual holistic vibe of the menu but most also have a sense of humor.
Tables for 1 to 20 can be reserved.
The Rose Cafe down the street is probably better for watching Venice Beach beautiful people at lunch but, for an outing in fine evening weather with international visitors, a walk past muscle beach, beach volley ball, surfers, hawkers, skateboarders and homeless to have dinner at Cafe Gratitude capped with a movie star sighting makes a quintessential LA experience that is hard to beat.
I really love this place. The food is fantastic and it's a perfect place to go if some in your party have food issues. As someone with a gluten allergy I particularly love their Buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup. My friend had the avocado toast and said it was delicious.
