Jill the server did a good job.
I had the Dine LA special- food was good and plentiful. I am not a vegan but always enjoy the interesting things they do with the ingredients.
ALWAYS A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE! Food was excellent! <3 Thank you!
Really great waiter and experience, food was delicious. Get the I Am Dazzling!
Book club gathering - our server was great. Very patient with our larger party.
The server Crawley is excellent!
Sometimes the kitchen is not consistent with the portion size, one day it’s full and others it’s about 30% less.
Loved the food here I always do and tried out the buffalo cauliflower this time as well as my usual grateful bowl both were to die for!!
All I can say is, GRATITUDE IS AMAZING!!!!! Best Vegan in town!
The food is great unfortunately the service can be poor. We waited over 30 min for our food at the bar, got cold fries (which they replaced) and unfortunately just lack of awareness because the bar is worried about preparing drinks and smoothies.
There is one amazing server named Crawley but most of the times service is disorganized and there seems to be a break down in communication with the kitchen.
On top of that the management never checks to see how we are doing with the service and experience.
The staff was very kind and efficient. We were seated very quickly and our server was very attentive. Can't wait to go back.
Very friendly and knowledgeable waiter, food was good, atmosphere was nice, we will definitely be back.
The new seasonal menu removed many items that were my go to, this made me sad. The waiter was not on point.
Run by kids. Tables too closely packed together. Food like warm and tasteless. Service slow and poor. Bathrooms ok. Juices very good. Parking good. Poor overall value.
An excellent meal, though high-priced and service was haphazard at times. But overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
too loud, tables are so closed to each other.
foods are ok and overpriced.
It was perfect!!
Well, I thought I knew their best dish was, in my "Humble" opinion. (For the uninitiated, that's actually the name of a dish -- previously my favorite.) My new must have is the Nachos with Mushroom Carnitas. Unbelievably delicious!
Delicious food! And they were very accommodating of my allergy.
I was not pleased with the fact this self proclaimed "vegan" establishment supports animal cruelty by selling honey. The waitress exclaimed "it's sustainable. It's a controversial topic, but that's why we call ourselves vegan".. it's really simple though.. honey comes from bees, bees are animals, not things for us to exploit and use for profit. Very disappointing you call yourself a vegan establishment.
To add to my experience, the food was not very good..6 different people and only 2 enjoyed their meal which were raw dishes that didn't require much culinary skill 😬 my fiancée and another friend ordered the same cooked meal, in which the whole table tried it and no one liked it. So I politely asked the waitress to take ours off the bill as we weren't satisfied with the food and didn't want to try anything else, and I was met with "We prefer to have you ask earlier so we could've made you something else"... clearly she wasn't listening.. and to prove that she wasn't she didn't even take it off the bill, instead she took my friend's much more expensive meal off her bill, in which she said "oh, well I guess you can just not tip me then" ... 🤦 the tip is for great service which I did not receive. I feel unheard, upset, frustrated, gyped and disappointed. I wish I could take the whole experience and the $ back. It was not worth it.
Great service e
It's amazing to be able to look at a menu and instead of the things I *can* eat being marked, the things I *cannot* eat are marked, because on the whole menu, there are only 3! Everything is vegan and almost everything is gluten-free. I have to avoid quinoa, too, but it's easy to do with so many options!
Crawly is an amazing server and should be running the place!
Best service; great healthy food. We went twice while in LA.
Great vibe, food was really good. Staff was super friendly.
Have eaten here many times before. Food has always been consistently good. Until this visit where everything from salad to entrees was dull and flavorless. Almost like a throwback to bad vegan food from decades ago. It was like the chefs forgot that herbs and spices are good to add to food preparation. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Everything is organic. All the vegetable/ fruit juices are organic ( according to the welcoming waiter we had). Love that, knowing what you eat makes a difference to your health. Some dishes the flawor might be a bit muddle since everything is in the bowl but still tasty and good for you!
Server Jenna was amazing and really made the experience as wonderful as it was.
Crawly the server is the best!
Really wonderful experience. Food that is loving and delicious and staff that are kind and professional.. food was delicious and service was as well. I'm vegetarian and none of my dining partners were yet nobody commented their food was lacking! Great management!!
I used to love this restaurant but don't think I am going to go back anytime soon. They have pared down their menu as well as their portion sizes and the last two times I visited, I left hungry. They charge $10 for a scoop of guacamole with crudite which consisted of 1 cauliflower floret, 2 stalks celery and a couple of slices of carrot. The rest of the meal was consistently small and underwhelming. A lot of better vegan restaurants have opened up since Cafe Gratitude launched so I think its time they revise their menu.
Delicious vegan brunch in a great location with friendly staff and atmosphere. The acai bowl was amazing!
Love this place. From the amazing food to the awesome and attentive staff, I could not have been happier...and it was taco Tuesday!!! I will have to swing by here when I am in town again!
I made the reservation for 3 people, I arrived first and the second guest was then seated. The third guest was not seated at the table and almost left after waiting 25 minutes. Not a good impression. The service was very slow - would not recommend this restaurant for a business meal.
Great food. Chaotic and noisy
Tables are too close to each other
Cafe Gratitude was about as a fantastic and unique meal that anyone could ask for. Went there with my wife and 2 kids (12 years old) for a Sunday Brunch / Lunch - everyone found multiple things on the menu to choose from and I have to tell you everything that we ate was incredible! The staff was very attentive and had some great recommendations to enhance the meals. No doubt that will be back very soon!
Brussel sprouts and pizza were a miss, nachos and fire cauliflower was good .
Celebrated several special occasions at once and even got a carnivore to admit the food was good. Excellent and friendly service. We parked on the street because we didn’t know there was free restaurant parking . Enjoyed several sharing dishes on Hapoy Hour menu and some bowls, mole enchiladas and the Mission burrito. All good. Only so-so was the Machs tea drink.
Really cute spot and great vibe, definitely will put a smile on your face!
