Cafe Flora, Steak-Italian
Surrounded with colorful bougainvillea, fountains and manicured gardens, Cafe Flora is enriched with gracious hospitality in a polished "secret garden" atmosphere. Owners Heinrich and Pamela seek to inspire and transport guests, providing a rare combination of sophisticated cuisine appropriate for Palm Beach's formal, white-linen dining destinations with the warmth and hospitality of a neighborhood favorite. Tucked away from the bustle of Worth Avenue in a picturesque courtyard behind Hermes and Jimmy Choo, camera-shy celebrities and other local notables often seek refuge in dining at this "hidden gem".
Sauted veal medallions in a lem on white wine caper sauce, served with sauted spinach and Sachetti pasta stuffed with cheese and black truffle
Shrimps served with our house made zesty tequila cocktail
Gorgonzola crumbles, fresh pears, candy walnuts, organic seasonal greens with champagne vinaigrette
Was a perfect setting
I was very comfortable going out to eat there.
Everyone was respectful to observe safety since we are still in this pandemic.
Food service outdoor seating perfect
My favorite restaurant on the Island.....charming ambiance!
We chose to sit in the courtyard. It was a great night!
The waiter was so good, but the food was amazing! The presentation was perfect! We will definitely go back.
Always awesome menu selections in a beautiful setting!!
Great food and even better service. Owners very involved and interested for the best in every patrons experience. Beautiful location inside the courtyard. A MUST experience whenever in Palm Beach.
The setting, in a courtyard off Worth Avenue, is lovely and the service was very good. The food, however, was disappointing. The choices were limited and a pompano that I had was overcooked and not tasty. The prices were high- you were paying for being in Palm Beach on Worth Avenue. I would, however, recommend the restaurant for the ambience alone.
A very pleasant outdoor dining experience with good food and nice service
Great as always!!!
A beautiful night with top rated service. I love the place...
very nice place
the appetizer was a bit blend but our main dishes were very nice
our waiter was very professional
Always amazing enjoying the beautiful setting, service and food at Cafe Flora!
Amazing service, great food and perfect ambiance. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to have dinner on a perfect Florida evening.
My pasta with veal bolognese Sauce was Delicioso! Pasta was Al dente and Perfect amount of sauce!
Fabulous setting and excellent food and service.
A wonderful first night out in the post coronavirus environment!
beautiful outdoor setting ideal for corona virus days. service is excellent. ideal for romantic dates or business due to quiet enrionment
Excellent outdoor dining
Out of 4 people, none of us had a great dinner. My linguine and clams was watery and tasteless.
There was another eggplant and tomato dish with cheese that was not very good.
Maybe the chef was out that night.
Beautiful setting, nice service, food however was disappointing. Veal piccata was paper thin and very expensive. Pasta was mushy and overcooked And the sauce was dumped in the middle of the plate.
We all went in with great expectations for a great night but sadly walked away disappointed and will probably not return even as a local resident
Beautiful place to eat al fresco. Very popular on weekends. Reasonably priced for Palm Beach fine dining. Service is usually top notch, but on this occasion it was pretty crowded and we waited a while to order dessert and get our check.
The five of us along with a stroller were seated at a table for two. When we requested a larger table at the empty restaurant, the hostess made no effort to accommodate us and was rude. We keft.
We visit Cafe Flora once a year during our annual Mecca to Florida and always look forward to it. The overall experience of enjoying the entire Worth Avenue ambience makes this a memorable evening, and having excellent food and service is the icing on the cake.
Our go to romantic dinner date
This is absolutely one of the most charming restaurants in Palm Beach. The food was excellent but a bit pricey. The ambience is definitely the reason to go. It’s absolutely adorable, service was excellent and the food was good.
Wonderful ambience. Best bolognese in town!
There are better Italian alternatives in the area. The food was good, not great. The outdoor seating ambiance was very nice. We shared a burrata & prosciutto salad which was fair. We then both had the veal chop piccata which was a bit dry and lacked flavor (could have used more sauce). The stuffed sachetti pasta, which accompanied the veal, was outstanding.
Love this place the owners are super nice
We have been going for years
Most of their seating is outdoors so it is not too loud
The food is great I have never had a bad meal
Beautiful setting, delicious food, attentive service
Always a go to restaurant. Beautiful ambiance.
Food was generally tasteless, service inattentive. Lovely setting al fresco can’t make up for that. This used to be a favorite spot, but it has slipped considerably.
Menu has shrunk. Several items on web menu no longer offered. e.g. smoked salmon. Service was good and staff attitude has improved. Pasta offerings are huge. Too much food.
Ridiculously expensive. Service sucked. Staff couldn’t even pronounce the name of the food correctly. Felt like I was in a diner where they were trying to serve you fast and turn the table for the next customer. Beautiful courtyard. Very disappointed.
Very overpriced for the meal on Valentine's day. 85 a person for pasta, lamb, fish. There was not a steak available and they call themselves a steak and Italian restaurant
Wonderful place to share Valentine’s dinner with my love... beautiful ambiance, great food, good service.
Lovely meals. Setting is largely in an outdoors area - very pleasant.
For an Italian restaurant, the food was a bit strange: the fresh tuna was more Mexican-alike, with too much spicy peperoni which killed a bit the delicate taste of the tuna, all wrapped in light bread like a fajita. The veal milanese was strangely vey flat, nothing to do with what Italians call the "scallopine Milanese". The Montepulciano wine, not especially cheap, will not remain in history,
On the positive side, an elegant place, very busy, with an efficient -if not excessively friendly-service.
But altogether, not a memorable evening...
We adore Cafe Flora. Lunch or dinner, but especially dinner.
Pamela and Henry have worked very hard to make their restaurant one of the most special places to dine outside.
We also really enjoy the well thought out menu!
A very favorite.
Food and service was great. Owner is top notch. Ambiance is terrific. Feels like dining in Italy.
