Cafe Flora, Steak-Italian
Surrounded with colorful bougainvillea, fountains and manicured gardens, Cafe Flora is enriched with gracious hospitality in a polished "secret garden" atmosphere. Owners Heinrich and Pamela seek to inspire and transport guests, providing a rare combination of sophisticated cuisine appropriate for Palm Beach's formal, white-linen dining destinations with the warmth and hospitality of a neighborhood favorite. Tucked away from the bustle of Worth Avenue in a picturesque courtyard behind Hermes and Jimmy Choo, camera-shy celebrities and other local notables often seek refuge in dining at this "hidden gem".
Cafe Flora is on of our favorite places to dine. It is quiet and the food and service are always wonderful.
Such a beautiful, quaint and elegant restaurant. Wonderful service and consistently excellent food.
Food and ambience are like eating in Italy. The homemade pasta and sauces are exquisite. Ken gave us excellent service.
Love it. Beautiful perfect evening was had
A very nice experience - great food, ambiance , service and company
Father’s Day meal was fresh, delicious and different. Would highly recommend.
Service was awful. Appetizers were good, but main courses were lackluster. Waited forever to order dessert. Finally left and ate ice cream at home. We won’t be back.
Gorgeous, floral-oriented location for dinner. Highly recommended for a romantic evening.
One of our few favorite spots in palm beach - nice outdoor dining in a courtyard, quiet, great service and people - great food.
Love the atmosphere of this restaurant! Very quiet on this Sunday evening at the end of the season in Palm Beach. Was not as happy as I thought I’d bewith the lobster ravioli - sauce too heavy for the lobster in my opinion. I prefer the lobster to standup to the sauce. Burr at a appetizer was perfect!
Great, as always. Started with the dates, split the gorgonzola salad, and had the "old school " Bolognese. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they comped us on lemoncello.
We enjoyed Cafe Flora so much, we went back 2 nights later! Beautiful outdoor setting, great service, wonderful food, broad wine selection, a real find!
Excellent food and service. Very nice setting in courtyard. Not as formal as some of the other restaurants in the area. Overall very good.
We were looking for Italian food, what we got was an Italian experience. Not many restaurants can perfectly match authentic Italian cuisine and service - this place nailed it! We had four different dishes, each with distinct and succulent flavors that were true to their origin. The prompt and precise service is another accurate reflection of what we enjoy in Italy. Our server actually recommended a lesser priced Tignonello red that knocked it out of the park. I look forward to returning to this superb restaurant.
Cafe Flora did a very nice job for a birthday dinner of 5.
Beautiful setting. Marginal food.
Tables were so small , I reach for an appetizer to share with someone and I spilled a glass of wine, on my friend. Made me feel terrible,
Everything was great great food great service great drinks we love this place
Outstanding Dover sole.
Hostess Pamela is on top of all facets of guest experience.
Cafe Flora created a special evening under the stars for a group of friends getting together. Wonderful and prompt service, delicious food, magical setting. kk
Aleays a favorite
Beautiful al fresco dining experience! Service & food were excellent!
Excellent place, great food! Outstanding service
Wonderful outdoor tables. If it's raining don't go
Staff are always pleasant. Food was good. Atmosphere was perfect outside dining!
Wonderful and beautiful garden setting.
Good restaurant with a nice courtyard setting. Service was excellent. Menu has few choices thought.
Cafe Flora is always a delight. Beautifully situated, ideal ambiance, delicious and varied menu, staff attentive and pleasant. Exquisite.
It is like dining in Italy! Ambience and service are excellent. Don't miss the Old School Bolognese -- to die for!
Sat indoors are requested which was lovely as we had the room to ourselves. The fig appetizer was excellent and had 4 pieces which were good to share. Pasta was good, not the best Bolognese but better than most. We still like Bices and Sant Ambrose's better. Next time I will try a different entree. The service is excellent. The negative was waiting for the valet parker both before dining and leaving. He asked for his $5 and handed us the key and told us where the car was parked. I never had that happen on Worth Avenue. They need to replace him.
Best Bolognese pasta. Made with veal. Lighter and tastier than beef.
Veal Milanese also great. Served with arugula salad on top. I like it on the side keeping the veal crisp.
We’v Been going for years and it gets better every year.
Cafe Flora offers one of the loveliest dining experiences in The Town of Palm Beach. A wonderful atmosphere and delightful food. A very efficient wait staff and owners who treat you like an old friend.
Beautiful dining experience. Lovely setting, fantastic staff, and delicious food!
Food and service were fine but they have expanded their outdoor patio to the point that the kitchen can no longer keep up with the crowd. We were repeatedly asked whether we would like to order before “things back up in the kitchen”. This is NOT the fault of the waitress but rather a management error in putting profits ahead of the interests of its guests.
Excellent atmosphere and food! We could actually talk without screaming! Beautiful courtyard. Loved the pear salad. Lovely evening!
Cafe Flora is a beautiful restaurant. Great for date night or a special occasion. Wonderful ambience set in one of the prettiest vias
on Worth Ave. Limited menu offerings, good service and satisfying food.
Everything was very good and we greatly enjoyed the outside dining on a beautiful night
great ambiance great service....was entertaining friends from NYC and they loved it....will be back...we live in palm beach county....great find....:)
We’ve eaten there several times and love it. I love that I can order a healthy meal with the Burt’s Bolognese (a lighter chicken version) over zucchini noodles. I’ve had it several times and its always delicious. The bread is great, crusty bread in a great size you can have a small piece or several if you want more. Salad greens are fresh and lovely, presented very attractively as well as being tasty. My husband had regular bolognese and the key lime pie which he loved and our friends had a bolognese and the pesto pasta along with a vanilla gelato with a chocolate sauce that they loved. Everything was wonderful, as usual! It is usually out door seating unless the weather isn’t promising, which it wasn’t this time and we were seated in one of the arched alleys leading to the restaurant which created a lovely ambiance. I had always wondered what would happen if it rained or threatened to and now I know. It was charming even sitting one table away from the one closest to the street (Worth Ave.). While I wouldn’t want to sit at the table closest to the street, it was still charming and somewhat “italian” in the atmosphere. Like any outdoor cafe, you get to “people watch” a little.
Great restaurant w wonderful food and ambience. Much better than Renotos.
