Everyone was happy with their meals. Service was a bit off but not bad.
I have eaten here several times before however I will not be back. Upon arrival our party of four was ushered to a covered back patio which has none of the inside ambiance. Then we were informed there was a 'limited menu' on a Saturday night which disappointing also and I felt we should have been told that when making our reservation. My wife returned her fish dish due to a strange taste and my chicken masala consisted on one mushroom in a white cream sauce! Drinks at the bar later were excellent, props to the bartender.
My husband and I had an enjoyable experience at Cafe Firenze. The cocktails were delicious and the food was quite good as well. The only negative was that the hosts were a little confused, and the decor could be updated.

We went to this restaurant for my birthday/Valentine’s Day and I I thought this restaurant is highly overrated considering it took us 45 minutes to get our first drinks and breads. and it took another 30 minutes to get our entrées and we never got our salads or soups so we had to cancel the starters and waiter did not say sorry or anything.
The food and service are always impeccable! Even on a super busy Valentine's Day night, the food was delicious and prepared perfectly! One of our favorite places!
I had the ORECCHIETTE. It was light on the crab (sheared) and barely visible on the plate. The shells were undercooked and the lemon over powered everything.
Forgot to give us bread. We’ve had better.
Excellent authentic Italian food. Creative dishes, all food was fresh, flavorful and served hot. Extensive wine list. Beautiful and comfortable atmosphere.
Very poor food. I was surprised that this place would serve something so bad. I had chicken marsala which was supposed to come with risotto.—-No risotto but cold mashed potatoes. Marsala was a cream sauce (no mush rooms) on strips if partially cooked cold chicken. What is going on in the kitchen? Was the usual chef I’ll?
While I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have always had a a good experience, last night was NOT one of them. Service was TERRIBLE. After ordering it took close to 2 HOURS for our food to arrive. The waitress said, "sorry there are lots of problems in the kitchen". Finally, food came for 4 of our 6 guests and then another 10 minutes for the final two meals. During this long wait, we barely saw the waitress, she never offered to bring more bread, get us a drink or dessert for the inconvenience. When salads arrived no offer for pepper on the salads. When the pasta came, no offer for parmesan cheese. I had to ask three times for the cheese.
I had the Osso Bucco, normally a large hearty meal. However, this was barely an appetizer. The plate had 3 small shanks, with the bones being bigger than the actual meat. Each bone had maybe two bites of meat on it. For $29, very disappointing.
We were there for close to 3 hours. The manager never came by to apologize, nothing.
I will not be going back.
The service was extremely slow. We waited at least 20 mins for a Caesar salad and another half hour for food. When we ordered we told the server we had to leave at 7:30. Our food arrived at 7:25 so we barely had time to eat it. It was very noisy. We won't be back.
We have been to Firenza many times over the years and this unfortunately, this was our worst experience. Outrwaiter was delightful, however, he was only our waiter for a short time, in the middle of our service, he had to go in the kitchen to cook because they were "backed up" and "slammed". Hard to believe because the restaurant wasn't full. When we started to give our order several of us were planning on having Salmon, however, they were out of Salmon and this was for a 6:30 reservation. Really? Out of the most popular fish by 7 PM on a Saturday night.
By the time we were served our main courses we were starving, again, took a long time because our server had to go cook our dinners! Very disappointing evening. We will most likely go back, but it certainly won't be for while. Not sure of what the issues were, but really not acceptable for a well known restaurant with a famous Top Chef name behind it.
We arrived for our 6:30 Saturday dinner reservation. We were originally seated in a back corner in a tent like enclosure near a back service entrance. Very drafty. They attempted to fix but we moved ourselves to another table after waiting for the hostess for 5 minutes. There was nothing resembling ambiance anywhere in the enclosure.
They mistakenly attempted to bring us a second round of appetizers. We had to wait for our main courses for nearly 30 minutes after we finished our appetizers.
Food was good. Server was nice enough. But the overall experience was such that I will not return or recommend.
One of the best spots in the area for a better than average meal. A little pricey, but the food makes up for it.
We arrived at 7:10pm for a 7:15 reservation sat down at a table in the corner. Took waitress 10 mins to come ask about drinks we placed our drinks and the drinks took 10 mins finally had to ask the waitress to take our order first we started with salads and it took 40 mins to arrive after complaining twice to our waitress finally I ask for a manger (JOHN..I think) he apologized for the salad and said it took 22 mins which was not the case. He offered free dessert. After that he said he would check in with us when our food finally showed up 1:15 mins from when we order. Of course no sign of John. Waitress didn’t ask about dessert just brought some bread pudding geez thanks for asking if we wanted coffee or any other dessert just gave us the check.
Overall experience wasn’t good been here tons of time and never been this bad!
We had jumbo shrimp as a starter. Main courses: Gnocci pesto + sole. Amazing.
Nice bottle of Tempranillo from Paso Robles.
Waitress was nice and available when needed.
She corrected a mistake I made when I put a way to high total on the CC stub.

Excellent service from Jenna. She knew all the foods and drinks! Only 4 stars in food due to crab cakes and temperature of cold polenta which was base of scallops special. Crab cakes poor quality lump or not at all Otherwise amazing scallops special, short ribs!!
