Excellent food, outstanding, courteous service
Very friendly lively pre-theatre place, lots of good veggie options
Loved sitting in Alan Gilbert's booth
It was my adult grandsons birthday . We went to a dress rehearsal at the Met which lasted a lot longer than we anticipated but the staff at Cafe Fiorello were gracious, seated us quickly and even gave us each a gratis Proseco to celebrate his birthday. The food was delicious and the service was welcoming and efficient. Warm chocolate chip cookies passed around just because! Loved it.
The service, as usual, was excellent!
Mateos, the manager was superb! Our server was amazingly most attentive, courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional. the food exquisite!
Food and service very good. Noise level very distracting
Right from the start when we got there it was packed because of the Side Lunges-step wide side to side while sitting into your heels. For more intensity do a front raise at the same time with 5 to 7#weights. service and I have no complaints. I highly recommend going there for brunch or dinner. But make a reservation.
The manager and waiter were just great! Unusual for such a busy place to have people so attentive.
Café Fiorello is a good place to go before seeing a production at Lincoln Center. Good food, conveniently located.
Great food and service.
Love this restaurant group and Fiorello didn't disappoint. Was packed with people at 4:30pm on a Saturday. Bustling bar and vegetable bar (amazing for me, I'm a vegetarian) with lots of options for many preferences. Waiter and host were very amicable and accommodating. Will definitely go back.
It was convenient and satisfactory. Noise level was tolerable.
Great visit as always. I've never been disappointed when I visit.
The service was awesome. They seated my friend even tho i was 40 minutes late. And got us out in time for theater. Food was great (we had pizza and pasta). Bucket of mousse was v good too. The lovely waiter even bagged my friends ham for my dog in foil and triple plastic so i could throw on my pocket!
The food was creative and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. The antipasto choices were each special and tasty but not overwhelming. They all worked with each other regardless of your choices. My pasta and incredible meatballs was eaten pasta by pasta to savor the flavor and because I eat to fast sometimes. The Veal Milanese was tender as the salad it was served with. Perfection again. The bucket of chocolate mousse and fresh whipped cream was like a gift from Paris. Wow was that good. Mousse and Martini's. Well done and enjoyed. We'll be back soon.
Consistent and wonderful . Great food, service and ambiance. Great for pre-show dining. Customer oriented in every way.
Despite being tucked into a remote corner the noise level is intolerable. Food and service were good but noise may prevent my returning
Cafe Fiorello’s is one of my favorites. My husband and I eat there before the opera.
Waiter ignored us — very disappointing as I was trying to impress a friend after seeing Elektra at the MET. No bread delivered to table; no offer for a second drink; had to ask for water glasses; dessert was the shared chocolate mouse — but not enough was given to us to share. Sad since I’ve always enjoyed this place in the past.
Great brunch spot!
After the opera
We used to love this place. We were staying directly across the street at the Empire. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well and ordered a pickup order. The hotel does not have forks or knives (don't get me started), so when I ordered their famous lasagna I specifically asked for cutlery to cut and eat my food with. The woman working there Sanday said NO WORRIES! I always get nervous when stock answers are No worries!
When my son brought me the food, guess what? No fork, no knife just the food. By this time my son and wife left the hotel. When I called back, Sandy was not so sorry. She said she would have the cutlery delivered right away. After 15 minutes, I told her to just bring me a new lasagna, because no one should have to eat $30 cold lasagna. I also told her my room number and have it delivered directly to my room since I was in bed. About 15 mins later I get a call from the front desk, my food has arrived. Oh man! So I get dressed and go get it. There were 15 sets PLASTIC CUTLERY. When I called Sandy and told her this, and asked who was the smart Alec that thought it was necessary, she said she was, and I should not have been bothering her about such things. I would not go to this place, there are way too many great places to eat in the city.
We were seated promptly and given a choice of 2 seats. Our waiter was excellent and we enjoyed a nice pre concert dinner. The food was good, a bit pricey, and the location is excellent.
The service extraordinary & superb! Food not at the same level this time, usually very good. Not this time. Due to location a bit pricey.
Always a pleasure eating there. I love the comp freshly baked CC cookies that come with the check!
Service and request for a quiet table met with a smile an courtesy. Food satisfactory. Will come again.
If You like crowded and noisy, with mediocre food, Brunch at Cafe Fiorello is the place to go. Personally, that's not for me, so I'm not likely to take another chance there. Too bad. It's been a go to choice before Lincoln Center for years, but... sometimes things don't stay the same, and that's too bad.
When we are in NYC this is our Brunch tradition.
Good menu with plenty of variety, breakfast and lunch, sweet and savoury style dishes.
Food was very good. Generous portions. Very good service. Noisy when full.
Honestly, we settled for this place as we needed something close to Lincoln Center in pre-theatre hours. It was bustling, but it is a well oiled machine and so service was quick and attentive and the food was outstanding. There were four of us and we did not feel rushed but did not have to wait at ll for drinks, appetizers main courses. The antipasta plates are terrific and varied, the Caprese Salad surprised us with cooked tomatoes with the burrata, and it worked well. The pizzas are very light and thin crust and also terrific. Four of us shared a piece of cheescake, which is good as it was tasty and large. Reasonably priced for location. We will be back!
Cafe Fiorello is one of my favorite Restaurants in Lincoln Center. Located in Lincoln Center - It's right across the Broadway from Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet and just 5 minute walk from Columbus Circle, as well as Central Park. Apple Store in the area, many other attractions attractions and shops.
Very busy and crowded. Need a reservation. Food was good and arrived promptly. Hot when it came to the table. Our waitress forgot to bring us bread. Nice atmosphere. Across from Lincoln Center so very convenient.
Lovely wait staff and beautiful ambiance
Food is good, noise level high
Perfect for quick pre- show meal
Cafe Fiorello has never disappointed us. It is one of our go-to-eating destination in the area. It gets very crowded but it is always good and fresh food.
A good option for a meal after a concert or opera at Lincoln Center, as the restaurant serves until midnight. The cuisine is of the classic Italian red sauce variety; don't expect anything exciting or novel. But service is friendly and quick.
I orderred the veal w peperoni. The portion was huge and I had totake half of it home. Obscenely huge. And not that tasty
Crowded at lunch but the food was very good Their website has a price fixed menu which doesn’t exist. Still well worth a visit.
Always great never varies
Enjoyed coming for breakfast lunch or dinner
all meals delicious
Ordered from the Antipasti Bar.. delish as always
Great artichoke omelet
