We are regulars at Cafe Fiorello. The Restaurant was full and extremely busy on a Saturday night before the Christmas Holiday.
We were given a regular, 2-person table. We are used and familiar with a larger table, preferably a booth. After 3minutes we stood up and I told the Maître D that we would prefer to wait in the bar for a more comfortable table.
He immediately juggled around his reservations and patrons and got us a very good table. And as an additional bonus we got our regular waiter, the best of the House.
Thank you Cafe Fiorello!!!
This, plus the excellent food, the nice ambiance and superb service is what keep us going back for more than 25 years!!!
Cheers Cafe Fiorello!

Perfect for pre/post Lincoln Center. We all had different things and they were all good. Get the chocolate mousse. They bring it in a bucket with a bucket of whipped cream and heap it on your plate. So much fun!

We were in town to see The Marriage of Figaro at the MET. We gave Cafe Fiorello a chance as a pre-opera option and were not disappointed. Food, warmth of the staff, the feeling of "NOT being rushed, the atmosphere, all perfect. Above what we expected. It's 2 blocks from Lincoln Center. Cafe Fiorello was a great start to our night. The Opera was amazing too!

Always delicious and always welcoming. The antipastas far outshine anything else of the menu.

Very good place for dining. Opens late so surprisingly it's one of the few places in the Lincoln Center area where you can get a bite to eat after a concert, ballet or opera. Service is very good and atmosphere is pleasant. Decibels are not extreme so you can have a conversation.

I always order the vegetarian appetizers, three or four. They are always excellent, but on this occasion they were served too cold, but tasty. My wife ordered the chicken under brick which she enjoyed enormously. The special bread with oil was a nice beginning. The pour of the $9.50 draft beer wa# pitifully small. My wife enjoyed her white wine. The gratis chocolate chip cookies passed around with the coffee were a treat. Service was fine. Dinner noise level one can only experience in New York. We eat here a few times a year before the opera and the location could not be better. Highly recommended recommended for food, service, and location, and ambience—if you can tolerate commotion and noise (but they should be ashamed of, perhaps, six-eight ounces of beer for $9.50). I can afford anything, but I hate being “taken.”

I Love this restaurant. It is great for before or after Lincoln Center events. The food is delicious authentic italian, not American Italian. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is friendly and efficient. Meraviglioso!

what an amazing dining experience! Service was awesome....servers seemed to anticipate our needs without our ever having to ask. Customized food requests readily accommodated. Warm cookies fresh out of the oven served gratuitously and delivered to each table was a nice and unexpected touch. Chocolate served at door when leaving decadent and a perfect end to our dining experience. Would highly recommend!

Good meal. Service was slow and not always correct.
Needs some coordination between host, seating tables and the drink runner.
Food was great and Ill go back again.

We have been here 5 times this past year bringing visiting guests. Each time we have been less and less impressed. At first we came for the short rib and meatball pizza and then they removed that from the menu and now it’s meatballs with short ribs inside. Not the same. The service is efficient but uncaring. They want to move tables and you feel it. We are just not impressed enough to keep coming back.

We went to Cafe Fiorella before the theatre. We both enjoyed our dinners. The veal parm was perfect. The home made ravioli was so light and delicious that it melted in your mouth.
The Chianti was the absolute perfect compliment to our meal.
We would definitely go back next time we are in NYC.

The entire staff was so kind, friendly and accommodating.
We had a table where waiters kept "bumping into" my cousin's chair.
He asked for a table change and we were moved to a lovely, quiet spot.
We look forward to coming back!

I use to really love going here, but after this last visit I will try to find somewhere else close to Lincoln Center. I remember an amazing antipasto bar, which this last time was sorely lacking. They had no seafood options at all and, when I chose certain vegetables, they didn’t have them either. For the price our meal was sadly very average. Ordered filet mignon and they didn’t have any at 5pm. Settled for salmon that was at best, diner quality. Sad to say this restaurant will not be a go to anymore

I ordered the special, fettuccine lobster, the pasta got to me cold and very sticky, very poor. On the other side the sauce, though cold, was good so was the lobster itself . Overall still disappointing.

Cafe Fiorello not only has amazing Italian specials but the service is EXCELLENT. I felt truly taken care off as if I was a regular. This restaurant is a classic and has the best ambiance. Really recommend the Open faced lasagna and the Chicken Fetuchinni.

Unexpectedly terrific. The spaghetti carbonara was with gluten-free pasta fabulous. The bucket of mousse and bucket of whip cream was totally decadent -salads were great -we had a nice private corner that was very quiet -service was lovely -it was a perfect lunch . Caprese salad with homemade mozzarella was to die for.

Too crowded. Had a table where people kept bumping into me as they passed. Menu has changed since last we were there and classic italian dishes such a chicken or veal marsala or piccata were not on the menu. Menu seemed limited, with a lot of sandwiches.

Great location for Lincoln Center. Server, Anna, very attentive and friendly. My wife ordered Tortellini Bolognese and sent it back because it was cold. The returned dish was still cold. Since we had a curtain to make we did not send back a second time. Only a few bites were eaten.
Others in our party were pleased with food served.
