Cafe Fiorello Ratings and Reviews
We have been here 5 times this past year bringing visiting guests. Each time we have been less and less impressed. At first we came for the short rib and meatball pizza and then they removed that from the menu and now it’s meatballs with short ribs inside. Not the same. The service is efficient but uncaring. They want to move tables and you feel it. We are just not impressed enough to keep coming back.
We went to Cafe Fiorella before the theatre. We both enjoyed our dinners. The veal parm was perfect. The home made ravioli was so light and delicious that it melted in your mouth.
The Chianti was the absolute perfect compliment to our meal.
We would definitely go back next time we are in NYC.
I use to really love going here, but after this last visit I will try to find somewhere else close to Lincoln Center. I remember an amazing antipasto bar, which this last time was sorely lacking. They had no seafood options at all and, when I chose certain vegetables, they didn’t have them either. For the price our meal was sadly very average. Ordered filet mignon and they didn’t have any at 5pm. Settled for salmon that was at best, diner quality. Sad to say this restaurant will not be a go to anymore
Unexpectedly terrific. The spaghetti carbonara was with gluten-free pasta fabulous. The bucket of mousse and bucket of whip cream was totally decadent -salads were great -we had a nice private corner that was very quiet -service was lovely -it was a perfect lunch . Caprese salad with homemade mozzarella was to die for.
Great location for Lincoln Center. Server, Anna, very attentive and friendly. My wife ordered Tortellini Bolognese and sent it back because it was cold. The returned dish was still cold. Since we had a curtain to make we did not send back a second time. Only a few bites were eaten.
Others in our party were pleased with food served.
Overpriced Thanksgiving menu and drinks They offer you a table by the bathrooms and act like they are doing you a favor. Asked for a booth told the one I wanted was not available. The whole time we were there nobody sat at that table .Turkey way dry .Brussel sprouts could have been used in a sling shot.Eat home you will eat better.
Just needed a place te eat after seeing the parade. There was five of us who shared the meatballs, pizza and hazelnut pancakes. Everything was amazing. The pancake was the highlight while being thick it was still light and fluffy. The roasted hazelnuts and hazelnut sauce that went with it.
