Great find near Lincoln Center. Very cozy, nice wine by the glass and good service.
Cafe Fiorello has many choices and always good food. They have small dishes with many veggie and seafood choices. Great pizza options with so thin crust. Pasta is great choice, extensive sea food choices, from steel head salmon to dover sole. Salads and steaks. Perfect place if you are in Lincoln Center area before or after performance. Simply you cannot go wrong with Cafe Fiorello.
The portions are very large. They can all be shared by at least 2 people.
I always like the food there, but brunch was a serious disappointment. Our omelettes were dry and bland. I really should have sent it back, but I was too hungry. It's hard to believe that Fiorello's would serve such Denny's-like meals. Management should really speak to the brunch chefs. Our waiter was a champ, really nice, catering to our every need with enthusiasm. The maitre-d's were, as always, quite welcoming, gracious, and cheerful.
We felt rushed, totally out of place for a Lincoln Center restaurant.
Fantastic pre- or after- show stop for dinner and drinks. Efficient, lively and excellent cuisine!
This is the perfect place to dine before going to any event at Lincoln Center. The food is wonderful, the service is terrific, and it's right across the street! I love this place.
Festive atmosphere for reliably well prepared brunch and Italian staples. Great pre-theater service. Antipasto bar and pizzas are always good choices. A bit pricey like everything near Lincoln Center but always fun.
MY OPENTABLE RESERVATION GOT ME SEATS CLOSEST TO THE TOILET
Food was good.
Service was satisfactory.
In my experience, seats closest to toilet should be last used and reserved for parties without reservations not parties with reservations.
Although they attempted to apologize after I complained, I asked why was a party with a reservation even placed at a table next to the toilets?
Always a great choice for the Lincoln Center area. Consistently good with nice extras like a bowl of chocolate at the door and fresh baked cookies passed around during dinner. The half dover sole serving with asparagus is perfect as a main course and we never miss the chocolate mousse with whip cream for dessert.
Fast and furious and the most efficient performance of any restaurant staff possible. A woman brushed two glasses off the table while donning her coat. A pit crew wept in and the glass was swept up before she said, I'm so sorry! A table for 5 was needed, the manager was placing set-ups and 4 men jumped to action to grab extra chairs and glasses without having to ask. I have food issues, ordering out is always a pain, a discussion, a negotiation. OMG! I ordered, it came perfectly, I enjoyed, and I was shocked! It is a pre-theater bustle for sure, and the noise is loud, but you can still talk comfortably and you simply can't beat the service and the fact that they serve a huge variety of vegetables from the antipasta bar.
Great menu selection, food was tasty and the service was great!!!
We will be back!
Food very mediocre some people could not even eat their dish.
The food and service is good but the crowded seating arrangement makes it uncomfortable.
We have been coming to this restaurant for years and it’s been declining steadily. The table are so close together - it must be a fire code violation. An older gentleman with a walker had a very difficult time figuring out and hen navigating his way out. We ordered a pizza for the table. It covered a large plate. They used to be a large square sized portion. I ordered a three vegetable plate. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and the portions were smaller than they used to be. Due to the high volume of customers, the service was not great. What happened to the restaurant we used to love? Will not go back soon.
We had a delicious brunch. The antipasto is always excellent. The noise level is loud which makes it hard to hear.
Missing the good old days at Café Fiorello when food was outstanding, especially the vegetable choices. Food is a pale shadow of those good days
This used to be my go-to place for brunch before a performance at the Met. But yesterday the service was awful. We waited 15-20 minutes before our waiter came to ask if we wanted beverages or to take an order and that was only after we flagged down the Maitre'd to have him send the server over.
When the food arrived (finally) after another long wait, it wasn't up to par. The side of sausage was over cooked and dry, my omelet was only OK. We were seated at 10:30 and didn't get out until 12:15 and that was NOT because we lingered. It was disappointing as I had a guest with me. I guess the place has become too popular and can't keep up the quality with the demand.
Fantastic service and delicious food.
The food was delicious
Food was not up to par.Brussel sprouts had stem attached and hard to chew Salad was not as good small amount of cheese, walnuts etc open lasagna was good
Still the tastiest grilled artichokes and thinnest, crispiest pizza crust in New York!
The quality of the food and service is consistently excellent. Thank you!
Good food, the best. I will return as soon as possible.
I had not been here in a couple of years, so very very glad to get back. A wonderful meal before the MET opera, we enjoyed it wonderfully. Kudos for a superb waitstaff and a kitchen which works wonders! I hope to get back soon.
Mid-week brunch before a show at Lincoln Center. Cafe Fiorello was the perfect place! Good food. Lovely atmosphere, good service and very convenient to the theater. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.
Excellent food, a bit pricey. Large portions
I love this place! I think we've eaten here 20 times times in the past few years. The Italian Wedding Soup is delicious and the chocolate moose is epic.
My husband’s birthday
Great food, great service
Excellent food and service. Food was well prepared, fresh and delicious. Menu has plenty of variety. Very attentive staff
without being overbearing. There was no rush even though it was crowded. Food came quickly. Reservations are recommended.
Great food.... the lasagna was probably the best I’ve ever had.
Every year going to the Opera in NYC is a special occasion. So why not celebrate it with a very good meal. Cafe Fiorello has always been a perfect place to celebrate and in any occasion or even for an everyday dining. Thanks Cafe Fiorello for acomódate my request. Great food. Great service. Great place.
It was very very noisy, but worth the noise for the quality of everything else.
Always excellent food and great service. Beautiful sitting outside and enjoying the neighborhood
Superb service, excellent food, great table, but as always very noisy!
this was so much better than my last visit. server was prompt and attentive
Always dependable with good food, and they get you to Lincoln Center on time. It can be crowded pre-theater, but service is swift.
Wonderful varied menu. Only place (with Trattoria del Arte) that has an affordable half portion of Dover Sole (love it!).
Another outstanding feature is the antipasto bar with great vegetarian choices.
Fried artichoke hearts a la giudecca, veal Parm with pepperoni . . and lots of health options too. Exceptional service and a great room with fair prices, too. I never go anywhere else when I’m near Lincoln Center.
