We had a better experience on a Saturday, Sundays is loud, service is slow and not as friendly. We didn’t feel taken care of like in the past.
Food was good, not great.
Fantastic. Taxi was our waiter and made the evening perfect
Our very favorite Lincoln Center area restaurant lived up to our every expectation once again. The kind staff, the accommodations to allergies, the delicious cuisine, & the willingness to seat us at a window table were much appreciated. Encore!
Great food and service. So happy that we were able to get in and out to attend a jazz show.
Dover sole and veal parm with pepperoni were terrific. Most tender veal that we have had for a long time!
Food is fabulous and service was great. Been there many times and never disappoints.
I’ve been going to cafe Fiorello after Lincoln Center shows for 45 years and they have never let me down. The place just keeps getting friendlier and the food is among the best Italian food in the city, but the value is huge. We had a great meal with wine and desert for 125 bucks.
We eat at Fiorello often and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. Small changes we request to menu items are always accepted. We attend events at Lincoln Center and the staff at Fiorello’s always sees to it that we are finished on time.
Prices are a little high but the experience and the care we get are worth it.
Food was excellent across all courses
We re-discoverd Cafe Fiorello this summer... So glad we did! We are loving the vegetable bar. Great selections, and so wonderful to be able to select 3-5 options on a plate as your main dish. The wine list continues to be great and offers good variety. Our server was friendly and on point. Thanks for a fun pre-show meal. (We do prefer the energy by the vegetable bar - front left- rather than the main dining room. Our preference...).
Last two times we went the branzino was overcooked and so small. . Not worth the money. Seafood risotto was good and service has always been excellent.
Great place if going to Lincoln Center. Convenient, good food, very pleasant.
Consistent winner for decades. Exceeds their high standards on every level.
Generous hospitality, varied & vibrant cuisine, lively vibe, excellent service with attention to dietary needs
Great service, delicious food, excellent value at lunchtime. Will return! !
Superb service from the moment we went in. Food was excellent and not overpriced. Loved the homely atmosphere. Would highly recommend it.
Liked the food, however the cost is on the high side. Loved the atmosphere. The service was good.
Always a great place for dinner after the Lincoln Center theater events.
Food is consistently good, but tables for two are too small. Most tables are too close to one another. The only decent tables are the booths which are saved for regulars. Sitting at bar is an option, but it is catch as catch can there. Service is haphazard.
Everything was very good — drinks, food, and service. However, all your food portions are too large!!! You should offer everything in half portions, including salads!
Your chocolate mousse was awesome!!
conveniently located. unique twist on everyday dishes.
We went here for breakfast and ordered a scrambled egg dish and an omelette. For the price, we were expecting something with a little flair or expertise. Both were uninspired. "Scrambled eggs and Sausage" was dried out scrambled eggs with a side sausage that had been split lengthwise and cooked on the grill. We felt ripped off.
We wanted to eat here based on the association with the artist Kostabi. We sat on the patio for dinner and the service started out strong but quickly diminished however I think that was maiming due to the face the waitress was running to keep up with her tables and it appeared to be understaffed
The lasagana special was very unique and tasty but it’s HUGE and could have easily been shared between 2 people which I would if preferred as my pasta dish was quite bland
I hear it’s great for weekend brunch and I would return again but knowing it’s a more casual night out
This is a charming Italian dining experience. Outside and inside dining. Great food. A must if you are in the city.
Good pre-theater dinner. Pretty good prices. Nice service.
Delicious food and convenient to Lincoln Center.
As usual, food and service were good. But, as usual, it was much too noisy.
Anti pasta veggie dishes were superb!
Super fun experience with great wait staff, food and drinks. Great value.
Antipasto bar as fabulous as ever. Pastas were a little disappointing this time, but this neighborhood fave still delivers a good experience.
Very unaccommodating service. Not willing to make small changes (e.g. type of lettuce, dressing) in menu items. Seated us in a back room with two tables. Although it was quiet, as requested, the wait staff completely forgot about us. Side of spaghetti was $7.00 for barely a cup of pasta. Very expensive. Disappointing meal.
I think it is overpriced and over rated. The waiters are cold and indifferent and not helpful at all.
Dining before opers
Very noisy very crowded food ok
Well run organization. Got to our performance in plenty of time and without any anxiety. Knowledgeable waitstaff solicited our preferences and made very good recommendations. Did not feel rushed. Very noisy but acceptable trade off to meet performance timetable without worrying. Will recommend and will come again. Thank You!
We loved our waiter Al, he made great recommendations, very knowledgeable about all the dishes we were interested, served us promptly and got us out for our show in plenty of time. This was our 4th time at Cafe Fiorello..... You must be good because you’re the only surviving restaurant on the block that’s been there over 20 years!!! The tiramisu was also outta sight!!
the wait staff is always courteous and efficient; very well trained.
The antipasto bar has great choices and hits the spot every time; surprised more restaurants don't have this.
And it's always enjoyable to dine al fresco and watch the sidewalk traffic.
Love to eat there in the back where it's less noisy. Had an amazing dinner of Dover Sole and asparagus.
Brunch before opera
The food is not as good as in the past which is why we have avoided going there for the last two years. Again, it was just ok and not special. Service was friendly and efficient.
Always love eating here. My only problem is deciding what to choose since it is all so good!
Great location if attending an event at Lincoln Center-a five minute walk, easily accessible. Seating (with a reservation) was prompt and courteous. Tables are very close to each other making it easy to unintentionally overhear others' conversations and vice versa. Waitstaff was generally available and service was timely and not rushed. Food quality was fresh; may want to offer more than 3 small pieces of foccacia; it seemed a bit stingy. Overall, we've been before and will undoubtedly partake in the future.
