I hadn't been here for several years (BC- Before Covid) and I am not sure why! My friend and I had a marvelous time, our drinks and dinner were outstanding, the service attentive even though they were busy and the atmosphere was charming. I will be back soon.

This was our first time here in awhile and friends from the SFV came out to join us or dinner. Service was horrendous, food was ok and drinks were poor too. Very surprising as this is usually one of our go-to restaurants. It was a Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. We had made a res on Open Table for Sat night and they immediately called to say they couldn't seat us until after 8, so I agreed to change the res to Sunday night. The service was impossibly slow, from getting seated to getting drinks, to being served dinner. We ordered a bottle of Pellegrino and had to remind him to bring it to the table. One person ordered an iced tea that took 45 minutes and a reminder. One person ordered a salad and an entree, and the salad came at the same time as the other entrees. And he specifically asked to have the salad first. The glass of wine I ordered was undrinkable (had a metallic taste per 3 people) so I requested a different one which was brought reasonably quickly. The food was pretty good, although the lasagna was not as good as in past visits and the salmon salad was drowning in dressing. Very disappointing. It will probably be awhile before we return.

Food took at least 30 minutes. The first 2 plates arrived hit. The last 2 plates took another 10 minutes to arrive but were not hot. Customer traffic was slow but started to increase as the scenario transitioned to the dinner crowd. But overall flavor was good.

The prosciutto wrapped shrimp were surprisingly tasteless and rubbery texture but the polenta base was great. The service was awful (slow), possibly because I dined alone. It took about 15 mins just to get a glass of water and have my drink order taken. The waitress kept forgetting me. The lasagna was mediocre. Mostly it was just annoying to have such slow bad service. I asked for butter for the (plain) bread offered and that finally came after the focaccia was cold. I have never been to an Italian restaurant that doesn’t have olive oil for dipping at the table. Wouldn’t try again.

One of my go-to restaurants in Ventura. The Margherita Pizza is really tasty and one of my favorite dishes is the Risotto Con Pollo E Funghi (Risotto with chicken & porcini mushrooms). Service is good and prices are reasonable. We bring our own favorite wines and are happy to pay their corkage charges. Only thing that marred another great experience was that the Tree House Room was booked out for a private party, as well as the outdoor patio. We sat in the main dining room which I really don't like as it is somewhat dark and dingy. As long as you are not in the main room, the experience is usually a very good one.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food is to die for. I cannot believe that many Italian restaurants don’t offer Osso Buco with risotto – CF does, and it is divine. Pretty much everything on their menu is amazing as I’ve dined there for several years. They have probably one of the best wine lists for an Italian restaurant that I’ve seen in a long time. Craft cocktails and just good high quality straight up booze as well is a bonus. Service is always amazing – they are well staffed almost all of the time. Dessert menu is heavenly to say the least. Also, many restaurants really drop the ball on the coffee at the end. I particularly like this restaurant that I can get a second or 3rd cup-many places abandon ship once the check is paid -not at Café Fiore. it is evident that CF is lovingly and professionally managed. It’s a good sign to see many of the wait staff still there years on end. It’s not a cheap night out, but it’s worth every penny. I would eat there three times a day if I could.

Honestly was pretty disappointed in the food. I know a lot of people who recommended this place but I am pretty let down. Maybe the quality went downhill since Covid, not sure, but probably won’t return. No complaints about the server/service she was good

Enjoyed the meal and so did my friend. I has special requests for a heart healthy diet, and they were able to accommodate my complicated needs. Was enough food for 2-3 servings, so well worth the value. It was a little chilly inside, so we switched tables. I made online reservations, so no waiting, overall would highly recommend. I had the Bianca pizza without cheese, quite delicious. And a side salad, which was beautiful with a lot of variety including avocado and olives. Overall very nice. I would easily recommend it to friends. Would be great for a special occasion. Split a the creme brulee, and it too was yummy. Only downside (it was an early diner Saturday, 5:45 reservations) was that our waitress was very busy, so it took a while for her to do her rounds back to our table now and then. While there were 3 people at reservation desk, perhaps they could have been better having another wait person. Still overall enjoyable. Worth putting on regular rotation for meals out.

we love Cafe Fiore. The food and atmosphere are great. The main room can be quite loud, but we were seated in the back patio...it's kind of an enclosed patio space that's more open, less crowded, quiet, but still inside and warm on a cold night. Great food as always, and the service is exceptional. Definitely a good experience. We weren't drinking last night, but the bar looked great...lots of beautiful cocktails coming out quickly.

The ambiance is warm industrial decor. The food is excellent and generous. The waitstaff, especially ours the last time we were there, is friendly and attentive. With a fun bar in front, best dining toward the back of the restaurant, particularly Saturday evening.

I thought that the food this time at Cafe Fiore was good. I think all those young chefs they have in the kitchen are very talented. As for service, I felt like I was at a Denny's or something. Very rushed, and felt like server was annoyed. The wine I ordered was not the correct wine and instead of letting me know that they didn't have it, they just poured something different instead as shown by the check. I'll go back, but I'll hope for better service.

We got the private dining room and it was so peaceful. We could even let our 18 month old crawl around when he got fussy. The food and service was superb as always. Our new favorite local spot!

They serve a great Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. I order it every time! They do have a great wine list too. The menu is mind blowing and it is difficult to decide what to order, but it never disappoints. Wonderful booth seating, live music and courteous staff make this a favorite restaurant in Ventura County!
