I have come to the cafe many times before but this time the servers attitude nearly ruined our visit. I had made a reservation as we were planning to eat breakfast. Plans changed day of but my friend and I still showed for our reservation to order the craft coffees and wellness shots. Our server, upon hearing we would be having multiple drinks only, made it glaringly obvious she wasn’t happy that we wouldn’t be eating food but only ordering multiple coffees. We decided that would cash out and move to the lobby to free her table. When delivering our coffees she slammed them on the table, huffed and turned to walk away. I stopped and asked for the check since it was clear she was not interested in serving us. She tried to change her attitude but we were no longer interested in the restaurant. We cashed out and still tipped but her treatment was uncalled for. (The table wasn’t sat while we finished and ordered multiple coffee orders).

Unfortunately this restaurant is not what it portrays itself to be. The food was decent but everything else was off. The level of blatant rudeness of the waitress was enough to make everything taste worse than it was. It is very noisy. Just pretty terrible overall.

It was a busy night for the restaurant so it was loud and hard to track down our server. Good was good. I needed salt but never got it - the fries and potatoes were excellent and breakfast all day is a plus.

Food wasn’t good, and they forgot to put in my dessert request in until after the meal and said it would be 30 mins to get the pie so I just left without it. Nothing positive in the experience. Would not recommend.

Our entrees arrived before the appetizer, which was disappointing. The food was mediocre and overpriced. We were seated outside which started out comfortably but after a few minutes our table was in the direct hot sun. Flies were also a problem. I would not go back.

Got the berries and waffles, cacao coffee and eggs and chicken sausage on the side. Coffee and waffles were served Luke warm. Both were tasty but I don’t like Luke warm/ almost cold food and drink. Didn’t send back because service was a bit slow and I was hungry. So, I didn’t want to keep waiting for my food. Wanted whip cream for my waffles and was told they had no whip cream on site which makes no sense for a restaurant. They also didn’t have the fresh juice published on the menu. Was told this a few minutes after I ordered it ( waiter left to put in order and came back and said it wasn’t available). Eggs and chicken sausage were served warm and both were good. This place was a nice vibe and the food was pretty good. If I was in the area, I might go again but with the Luke warm food I got, I wouldn’t make the drive just to dine at Cafe Fig.

It was very warm and stuffy inside the restaurant, but once it got a little later it was more pleasant. Service was excellent and be good was wonderful! Very good ambiance and beautiful restaurant. Great price point too!

It was cute inside. The bar area was nice. The restaurant was super hot. Not sure if the air conditioning was on super low, but it was uncomfortable. Food was good: I had the chicken sandwich. Coffee was great! Won’t be back.

I got a reservation on open table, and I still waited in the lounge for twenty minutes. After I went and told them we have been ready to order they still had us wait saying the server was coming. Then I requested to be seated inside because we were being completely ignored despite having a reservation. After we got seated inside we waited another thirty minutes for the waiter to come. They didn’t say welcome, they didn’t even smile, or approach our table. I tried to tell the bus boy and even he ignored me and said the waiter will come. They are unfriendly, snobby, and slow. It’s disappointing because I came here all the way from Orange County because the food looked good. This place is in Los Angeles and is a far drive. I was late to tickets I bought for bubble world due to their service even if I got seated hours ago. My reservation time was at 11:30, and my tickets for bubble world were at 1:00. Wouldn’t recommend.

Liked this resturant for brunch, got an omelet. The sourdough bread was great. The avocado extra was excessive for $4 and didn’t get much avocado. Matcha wasn’t good but loved the iced coffee!

Made a reservation and still had to wait 30min to get seated. Waitress said using OpenTable to make a reservation doesn’t show up on their end even thought their website takes you to OpenTable to make a reservation. Took 15min to get our drink orders then 23min to get our drinks. Waitress didn’t write down anything when we ordered said she’d remember then got our orders wrong. Overall horrible and I’d never go back.

We went to cafe fig for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was a gem. The service was spot on. One dinner had to be sent back and they took it off the bill without asking. Brought a nice treat for birthday. Ambiance was fun and relaxed. Definitely will go back

Yesterday was my 5th visit to Cafe Fig in the last year. It's become a go-to for brunch and I've introduced many of my friends to it. But this visit was extremely disappointing. We were seated at 11:30 AM (right on time) but at 12 noon we still had only water on the table. No coffee (ordered when we sat down) and or water disappeared so no chance of ordering our food. We finally waved down Melissa-a floor manager who apologized profusely and proceeded to finally get our food (I suspect the waiter never put our order in) and go out of her way to get condiments, more water, etc. Finally she offered to comp our entire meal and refused to take any gratuity. She did everything right from a customer service standpoint and at an extremely high level. Many thanks Melissa!

We had problems with cafe fig finding our reservation. We had issues with our order and the manager ended up comping our drinks and 1 entree. The food was okay, server was very nice, but service was slow and order was wrong. I don’t think we will be back soon. This was our 3rd visit there before a sporting event.

Cafe Fig can always be counted as a favorite. The empanadas and the Parmesan fries are delicious ✨ Everyone I have brought to Cafe Fig has loved everything about it ♥️ And now that they have self-parking, it is even better. Best Caesar salad in town 💯 The ambience is soothing and the wait staff (everyone) is super-friendly and professional. I love this place. It’s affordable, quiet, attractive, delicious city’s, and easy in-and-out. Even for Uber/Lyft. You won’t be sorry 😃
