The service from Dante was great. They also use the team approach so top notch rating for service. The Mediterraneo salad was very tasty as well as the braised short rib pappardelle pasta. I am sharing a picture of my drink the Delilah it not only looked good it tasted great.
Great spot for lunch or a casual dinner in downtown LA. The restaurant is one of several in the beautifully restored Hotel Figueroa.
Parking a little janky on game night but all was well AND they asked for our vaccine cards so these people are my new favorite!!!! Thank you Cafe Fig!
Great food, great service, valet parking available.
Joy was the best server! We were so lucky to have her.
Great for drinks, chatting with friends, but the food was just okay. Nothing too amazing.
Food and drinks are AMAZING!
Ambiance was very cozy and cute
We really had the best time! Amazing service & the food was great.
Great choice for pre-Staples, with cafe menu and well stocked bar and ontap beers. Hamburgers and crispy chicken sandwich were very good, but standout was spicy cauliflower appetizer.
Drinks and food slow to come out, despite cafe not being full. Staff nice, but not very attentive
What a special find! We were in town for a quick weekend getaway and wanted something within walking distance of our hotel. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and the ambiance was divine! The service was above and beyond and the food is what dreams are made of. Can’t wait for a reason to come back!
Cafe Fig is an extension of Hotel Figueroa's classy, urban, and historical ambiance. The food was good and the service was great. It's not as crowded as some of the newer places, so reservations for a work lunch were easier to make, which I appreciate. The Gen Zers can have their new hip lunch spots. I prefer the sophistication of Cafe Fig.
The ambiance was great and the food was great. The service is consistently great. Cute place for a brunch with your friends !
It was my husband’s birthday. No birthday dessert?
Not worth the time and money. Service was slow and food was cold, along with coffee being served cold.
Charcuterie board was about 9 blocks of parmesan and a slimy prosciutto, do not order. Waitress was nice enough to take it off the ticket.
Hi! I am so sorry to hear that the Charcuterie board was not at all satisfying to you! We offer a Duck Prosciutto which is a dried aged thinly sliced meat as well as an aged Bresaola that traditionally does not come slimy so I am taken a back at why it came this way. I will absolutely review with our kitchen team. I would love to have you and your guest back for dinner on me at your convenience to try and make this up to you and really show you the level of quality we strive for here Cafe Fig.
Trendy and fun decor, pretty patio, it’s downtown LA so there is traffic noise and “colorful” people who walk down the street. Food was delicious and drinks had beautiful presentation and were tasty. Price seemed pretty standard for an LA meal. Overall a great experience, I would come again!
Service was great, but it was very loud
I rarely do a rave about a hotel restaurant
Despite kitchen issues, server and manager were very accommodating.
Would have been amazing but half our order could not be fulfilled by kitchen.
Food we did receive was excellent.
Maybe just a bad day, would try again
Great little spot for brunch . Wish they had Vegan options tho .
It was amazing
Most delicious food, great service
Wonderful place, the food and cocktails were excellent! Staff was so nice and the decor is beautiful! We had a great time enjoying a long lunch.
Enjoyable casual dining in DTLA - close to LA Live and the Convention Center- Ill be back again.
I made bday reservations for my children who are 15, we were the only table with teen kids and Latino. Service was the worst experience, we sat for 25 minutes without any water or even anyone to check in on us. Noticed several waiters pass by us and it was wasn’t very busy. After I noticed a waiter take drink orders for a couple that came after us, we walked out and had such a memorable dinner and Chris + Stefs Steakhouse.
I came for drinks and apps with a girlfriend in town. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was delicious, too! We got The Dip which was outstanding and the Mezze Platter which was so delicious and so plentiful. The drinks were good but a bit overpriced. I would recommend!
A decent restaurant food was good but not great. Loved the decor but felt very unorganized.
Food was good but the service was outstanding! I'll be back next month!
Delicious food selection, aesthetically pleasing & friendly service!
Good host, tasty and casual menu while the setting maintained a clean and classy presence.
I honored this reservation and another at la casita but did not get the points
Friendly staff, great ambience, and love the lounge interior design.
Very good food. Went for breakfast.
Love the drinks and the food were pretty good! 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Overall very nice
Great experience! I’d highly recommend!
Came here for Valentine's dinner. Parking is as you would expect in LA so we valet parked with validation which was $10 for two hours.
Past the parking, the interior is very pleasing. The restaurant is actually part of the Figueroa hotel. There was live music that was a tad loud for my taste but was really nice for the ambience and the set list was very cool.
The Valentine's menu was lovely. We started with a light mixed salad as our appetizers that was very refreshing and appeared to not have any dressing applied which was pleasantly surprising. The main course, the 8oz fillet and salmon were delicious. The salmon was very tender and the skin side was crispy and well seasoned. The fillet was about average and the creamy sauce it paired with worked well. The accompaniment for both dishes were alright, about what you would expect.
The dessert was great. I really liked the chocolate cake. It looked very appetizing and glistened but was not overly strong or sweet. The fruit garnish was a nice touch along with whatever they used to add subtle complexity to the taste (I think it was an edible flower buti felt like there was ginger involved as well). The unlimited wine with the special was pleasant as well, we had sparkling rose and some white wine.
The price seemed reasonable for the meal and drinks at 75 a person on Valentine's day.
The staff were friendly and helpful though there was a weird phonecall from someone regarding my reservation during my meal. We came a few minutes earlier than our reservation but was seated. I got called by someone from Breva who seemed very rushed about not having a form of payment for my reservation or something during my meal and as I was trying to understand what was going on, he abruptly hung up after hearing we were seated improperly.
I would say that this experience was worth the value. There were just a few minor things that lessened the experience but overall the experience was solid
Excellent and friendly service and solid quality food. A fixed menu due to Valentine’s Day, which included a good choice of quality wine. Ambiance is great as they are located inside an iconic hotel.
Perfect place. Dining area was
