Outstanding food. Great menu choices. Veal Marsala was the best!
Great place for upscale casual dining. We had a table on the edge of the patio, still inside with AC although patio door open so outside feel too. Highly recommend!
Beautiful outdoor dining and great service. I know prices have gone up but 1 in our party ordered scrod and fir $20 it was a very small piece with a small bowl of vegetables. Everything else was good
Food was great and our waiter Chris was terrific. Had great timing, was friendly and super efficient. Appreciated that he allowed for a relaxed evening with wonderful friends.
My favorite establishment, from the greeter to the servers simply the best.
I found the food and service to be very good but a bit overpriced compared with other restaurants of equal quality.
Service and food as always was the best. Great spot to have a nice lunch and catch up!
We brought my parents there for my Dad’s 81st birthday they hadn’t been there in a number of years. My Dad started out with the Escargot like he did in the past. I thought that he was going to lick his plate clean. They both enjoyed it some much that they are going to make it there more often.
Excellent food excellent service. Our go-to restaurant.
Everyone was kind and accommodating (our group had a walker and specific lighting needs), and the food was served in reasonable proportions for the price, high quality, and well executed.
Large selection on the lunch menu. Nice variety. Sat outside very comfortable
I had a problem with the flatware being placed on the bare table during these “covid days” rather than on a napkin or wrapped in a napkin as most places are now doing.
Food was good service was great
Two of us had a wonderful lunch this Saturday, after a challenging week. We ordered a corned beef Rheuben and a grilled chicken panini with apricot/onion jam and goat cheese. Wow! The Rheuben was made with a good quantity of lean and tender beef and was melted and buttery with swiss cheese and sauerkraut. And it was definitely not soggy like these can be. And the chicken panini was an unusual combination of ingredients that blended perfectly. Sweet potato fries served alongside were hand-cut and exceptional. Our waitress was so professional and kind and stopped by several times to see if we needed anything else. We each ordered a martini-type drink that was perfectly made by a bartender who knows what they're doing.
Initially, we were seated in a back room but were graciously moved to a much brighter table near the patio upfront when we requested a change. All of the components of a memorable meal were there; attentive waitress, delicious food, well-mixed drinks, and a great table.
chateaubriand was excellant
service was great
we were celebrating a birthday
We always love dining here. We brought friends with us, and they loved everything about it. The menu has an extensive variety of interesting choices. Loved our waiter, Charles.
Server was excellent, as always.
Music too loud. Makes conversation difficult.
Service was poor. waitress had too many tables to handle at once. very disappointed
Food and service equally terrible, reminded me of hospital food. First and last time.
Our server Craig was outstanding ! Very personable and he really added to the enjoyment of our evening .
We made a reservation through Open table for my husbands 70th Birthday lunch. I requested a table on their outside patio since I have a compromised immune system.
Our reservation was for 3:15 and we were able to get an earlier reservation for 2:15. Done easily.
We were the only ones sitting on the patio until we were ready to leave. An attendant wiped off
Our chairs and brought an standing umbrella near our table in case of rain.
My husband had the French onion soup and we shared the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms. My husband had the seafood linguini and I had their Monday special chick marm and linguini. All delicious!
Our waitress was very attentive! Joe ordered the Creme Brûlée and they wrote happy birthday on his plate.
With both had coffee. I had a decaf cappuccino and it came with a biscotti. So good!
The restaurant was The Cafe Escadrille in Burlington Ma
One of our favorites!
Thank you Open Table & Cafe Escadrille!!
Great dinner. Always great food and nice atmosphere.
Always great. Started with Calamari. Next up Oysters Rockefeller. Always excellent. Had the Chateaubriand for 2. For whatever reason mine came out Medium & Richard's was more rare. Should have switched plates, but still very good. Sharon had the Caterpillar & Shrimp Tempura roles. Both excellent. Finally split the Puff, which is a very large Profiterole. Excellent overall.
We had the duck and tuna/scallop entrees. Both were excellent. Service was excellent.
Best dinner in ages! Awesome clams, steak, swordfish, cod special. All meals were perfect. Waiter, Luke was super. Attentive, vibrant and entertaining.
Appreciated the birthday acknowledgement
Finally seeing a very dear Aunt after a year of Covid!!
Café Escadrille is such a fun place to eat. The food is definitely on the higher end, but was delicious and a fun atmosphere. We loved it and would highly recommend!
Great food - Great location for a special occasion dinner !!!
We always find the Cafe Escadrille to have consistently great meals.
We were married there 32 years ago.
Now that we live in South Carolina it is a huge treat to be able to go there.
Wonderful menu with a great variety of choices.
Father in-laws 92nd birthday
The food wasn't bad, but way way overpriced.
I also ordered my salmon medium-well (and it was close to rare).
Again, the food wasn't terrible, but certainly not worth the price.
Table was perfectly located. Food was excellent as was the service.
Everything was good. The food was excellent although I though my Veal Catherine was overwhelmed with sauce. I would order it with the sauce on the side the next time. It was $110 per person including the tip. My GF had the rack of lamb and loved it. It looked to me to be the best rack of lamb I ever saw. So be prepared to spend some money, but the food is really good. The server, Grace, was attentive, efficient and friendly.
Our waitress Carrie was inattentive to us. Never asked how our meal was or could she get us anything. She made a comment to our table, after 25 minutes of just waiting that we were not a priority and she needed to serve the tables who food was waiting for them.
We complained to the manager Kerry about our waitress.
Always consistently good
