Wonderful meal with delicious food, great wine and outstanding service. Unfortunately, our table was right under a blower and everytime the AC kicked on, my kids and I were freezing, which was disruptive and uncomfortable. Also, there was a rehearsal dinner in the main room so us regular diners were in the small room to the side so it got very loud. Food was amazing and service was A+!
Was our anniversary. Staff was terrific. All the food was delicious. They helped make it a special day. This place is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.
food was good but small portions. Just disappointed that we told them it was a birthday when we made the reservation and they made no effort for dessert.
Excellent food and customer service. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and they provide an excellent customer experience. The food is exceptional. I haven’t had a bad meal there since dining there. I highly recommend for intimate occasions as well as family gatherings.
We so enjoy dining here. The staff makes us feel like valued customers. Starters were clams oreganato and a Caesar salad. Entrees were a pasta with mixed seafood, a halibut special with potatoes and vegetables, Parmesan crusted chicken with capellini in a cream sauce. DH asked for a chicken preparation that had been a special long ago. And he was accommodated and..thrilled. This place is busy every night of the week. It is clear that we aren’t the only people who feel Thry do everything right.
Very poor service. The staff served two ppl at the table while the rest of us waited 40min to get our food. The staff was also very rude to my father and brother in law when they asked for a coffee rather than drinks the waiter said is this dunkin donuts. No one came to check on our table while we waited and our waters weren't even refilled. Would not recommend going there. I made reservations and the table wasn't even ready and it was supposed to be a birthday celebration, but we didn't even get dessert they were out of cheesecake and tiramisu. Overpriced for the poor service.
Wonderful restaurant! The food was amazing! Great portion sizes and delicious. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.
Food was very good and service was good. It was extremely busy so it was a loud dining room.
Our group was very well treated. Everyone was very happy with their salads, entrees and service. An overall great night.
Great food and service. We chose to sit outside, due to COVID, so there was some road noise, but not a big problem. Will definitely go again.
We had Veal Parmigiana big enough to split for 2. Service was excellent
Great service. When I ordered the desert, they even brought a candle (it was my wife’s birthday).
The food is also very good.
This place is a gem. I have been there a few times and the service is always superb and the food is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.
Always a fabulous meal here, and the staff greets us like old friends, even if we hadn’t been there in months! Already looking forward to our next time back.
Loved the food and service was just perfect!
Lovely place with very good service. Food, this time was disappointing. My Veal Rothwell was left in the fryer too long and was very over cooked, and dried out. My wife’s pasta special with filet chunks was just okay. We were disappointed and surprised as we have always had very good to excellent meals here.
we loved it all!
Excellent Bar service.
In main dining room, waiters are great!
Food tasty but a bit pricy for pasta dishes.
I really wanted to love this place. The decor is very authentic Italian and charming. The wait staff is super friendly and the service was perfect. However the food was just mediocre. I had a fettuccine dish and the pasta was way over cooked – very mushy My partner had veal Parmesan and it had very little sauce on it and the sauce was super sweet. However we did have the clams oreganato and they were delicious. Also the dessert display was amazing! We will give it another try.
Had to move outside due to the deafening noise inside. Food was atrocious. I have never had to send a meal back at a restaurant. Even when it was probably the right thing to do. This was a first. Only consolation is the service and hosts were very pleasant and accommodating.
My husband and I were excited to try Cafe Emilia as it came highly recommended, but ultimately we left extremely disappointed. The outdoor seating was pleasant but the music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. Being that we’re still in a pandemic, it does seem that they’re short staffed (understandable) and we did wait a relatively long time (15 minutes or so) to place our drink orders since we didn’t know what we wanted when the waiter brought the drink menu over. My husband’s martini was less than desirable but to our waiter’s credit he did immediately make a new one which was somewhat better. The bread was tasty and the basil infused olive oil was the best part of the meal. Our $14 shrimp appetizer was disappointing — 4 small shrimp on a huge empty white plate with a small cup of sauce which was mediocre at best. I ordered the pork special — pork loin stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella in a Marsala sauce. The sauce was beyond reduced and was downright burnt and bitter, leaving it inedible. The pork was dry, over cooked, and left me nauseated. The two potatoes on the plate were tasteless and the string beans were the only edible part. Again, to our waiter’s credit, he did take it off the tab but our check was still $75. My husband’s zupa de pesce tasted like Lipton soup mix with angel hair pasta and mediocre seafood. We didn’t stay for coffee or dessert as we couldn’t see spending another penny there. Overall it was incredibly disappointing and we will not be returning.
Delicious with excellent service and ambiance!
Absolutely too loud. No reason for people to be shouting so loud as we couldn’t hear one another. Place needs serious acoustics upgrade. On the other hand, the food was excellent but it could have been more enjoyable if the background noise was controlled better
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food. A little pricey though as everything is a la carte.
Wonderful time celebrating my birthday with my loved ones ... Andy, Tony, Nick and crew were awesome ... the outside setup is awesome with great ambience and food was excellent!!
Food was great as well as the service!
Great!! Food was wonderful. Splitting a salad and and a pasta allowed to each have a fine entree. Wine was excellent, served with nice glasses. We will be back
Consistently excellent food and superior service in a beautiful charming decor.
Terrible. IDK what happened. I am TIRED of the COVID excuse. As a diner we are risking ourselves more than the Chef. The Food was Terrible. It was like they did not care.
Awesome as always !
Traditional Italian food. Not too innovative.
What a great night! We were celebrating a family birthday and arrived for an early dinner. We chose to dine in the outdoor area, which is beautiful! The service was attentive, excellent all around. Gamberi fra diavolo is always too tempting to pass up! Stuffed zucchini blossom was outstanding and the gnocchi special was also very good. I’m not a connoisseur, so I just asked for a nice red wine. It was delicious and they didn’t overcharge us. Staff goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. Have been dining here for years and they are consistently good.
Had an amazing experience overall! Service and food were absolutely delicious. Will definetely be going back.
Fabulous restaurant with friendly and helpful servers! Local gem we found when we were in from out of state. Would recommend highly. We ate there twice in three days because we had such a great experience!
We dined outside under a tent. Sides were able to close to block our table from the elements. Food delicious and service great. Very accommodating.
We love this place. It is a staple for occasions and even just date nights. Food is fabulous and service is outstanding. Very proud staff that wants to impress and they do every time.
Superb food and warm attentive service. Beautiful interior.
Excellent food and great service. Our visit was delightful.
The amount of people in the room we were in was a little disconcerting. It was hard to tell if the tables were 6ft away from each other. The food was good except the chicken parm was overcooked and the cheese was burnt, making it hard to cut, which should never happen in a chicken cutlet pounded so thin (which I like the thinness, just not the overcooking).
