Cafe des Artistes-on the Water
This quaint French restaurant bistro is located inside the Jupiter Yacht Club and enjoys some of the most beautiful scenery of South Florida.
In a refined, yet casual and cozy environment, the team of Café des Artistes welcomes you in a family and friendly atmosphere. Enjoy the traditional French cuisine proudly prepared by the Chef Thierry Magne, with a delightful view of the intracoastal waters.
The menu, complemented by daily specials and combined with a large selection of the finest French wines, allows you to experiment with all the classic dishes of a local little French restaurant bistro.
The bar serves Wines (Red, White or Rose from “Provence”), Champagne by the glass or Bottle, Beers and our homemade Sangria.
Food, service and ambiance were terrific. We ate inside and it was warm. Other than that it was a great dining experience
Delicious lunch with a friend
The setting is the best part of Cafe des Artistes. I find the menu to be limited. The service we experienced was really hurried and forgetful. The tuna appetizer was good but quite small. My husband's entrecote was just OK. The frites were cold and hard.
Absolutely lovely evening and welcoming staff. Delicious food and beautiful view
Best restaurant and views in Jupiter! Not to be missed.
Nice spot on the harbor. Have been there for lunch and dinner. Good food. Very intimate inside. Pretty outside.
Just don't like to sit next to someone with a dog, which appears to be a common Florida acceptance
Again, we had a delicious dinner and a delightful experience. We don’t live in Jupiter, so these meals are something of a special occasion. This time, the waiter was well informed, but his service was too slow. We were aware of other tables seated after we were, whose meals were delivered and wrapped up before ours.
We will be back, nevertheless.
C’est très bien et très bon....bel endroit.
Cafe des Artistes provides above quality cuisine and service in an aesthetically pleasing waterfront location.
Great wait staff. Pleasant and efficient. Food equivalent in taste and quality to a nice little Parisian bistro
Went to dinner on a busy Friday night.
We were seated outside by the water as requested.
Food was good and service was quite good considering how busy the restaurant was.
Very nice experience would recommend it
We went here for my wife’s birthday.
Everything was excellent- the service, the food and just being able to sit outside. I highly recommend this restaurant
Gorgeous setting; delicious food and wine. Perfection!
The café is in a great location on the water. The food is excellent, well prepared, hot and very French. The Escargot was out of this world, outstanding (did I mention hot, very hot but it needs that temp to prepare it well).
Service was good, my only complaint is the pricing on the wine, very expensive and small glasses. The next door restaurant Dive Bar were serving nice size glasses of wine in comparison, and I know the prices there and they are not $16. We all know where the margins are made in the restaurant business, so I would say to the owners if you are going to charge $16 for a glass of wine, you better make it a large glass or cut the pricing to reflect a level of reasonableness.
I just love this great little French restaurant! On the water yacht club; choices of eating in or outside. Great menu with many daily specials. Food is authentic French. Best French baguettes in Florida!
Located right on the marina, this lovely French restaurant is charming. Very small inside -- reminiscent of a French café -- most of the guests sit at the outside tables, viewing beautiful boats, actually, yachts. Food choices good, French bread wonderful. Loved the lunch menu, however (read it online) and would return for that. My skirt steak with onions in a yummy wine sauce was outstanding! A great place to visit again ...
While the setting is lovely, the food at lunch was inedible by one of us and rated poor by the other three.
Perhaps dinner at this lovely French Bistro would live up to some reviews but the lunch was terrible.
Very limited menu, fair at best service, food not cooked as ordered
Loved the setting over looking the harbor & watching the yachts.
Great French Bistro food. Had delicious escargot & marinated skirt steak. Good service too.
Salade Nicoise was average, service good, flourless choc cake and cappuccino were great! Lovely outdoor setting can’t be beat.
We lo e the ambiance and the service. Paco and Diego are the best!
Can’t say enough good things about this place. We love it!!
Made a reservation well ahead of time but were seated at an inside small table rather than outside, which more last minute patrons had. Service was very slow and not at all attentive. It took a good 10 minutes or more just to place a drink order to begin with. Our waitress was very hurried. She rattled off the specials so quickly that we could barely understand. My husband ordered the "1/2 duck" on the standard menu, and his plate had just 1 leg and 1 wing on it. When he complained that it was not a half duck, the waitress went to ask and came back and said "it's the way we always serve it". He ruminated that they had a "duck breast" special that evening, and that's probably where the rest of his duck was. He was not happy. There was a $3 charge for sharing an appetizer which I have never encountered before. There was also a $7 sharing charge for entrees. It makes you want to have one person order the entree and have another just take some and put it onto your bread plate! Nonetheless, my daughter and I paid the $7 to split an entree. Our steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. We will not be going back as we spent quite a bit to (1) get less than good service (2) false menu description and (3) costly sharing prices for both appetizers and entrees. Very disappointed.
Lovely atmosphere and the food was exquisite.

It was wonderful
Our favorite restaurant in Jupiter-great cafe setting on the water, great food and very friendly service—even on extremely busy nites!!
A lovely little restaurant in the harbor. The food was wonderful. The service was prompt and professional. We have a great experience.
recommended, but bring your life savings. Ouch. Really expensive.
Great in every way. Food is exceptional. Service impeccable. Ambiance unbeatable.
We loved our dinner as it is such a quaint authentic Parisian restaurant. Even the waitress was from Paris! The food and beverages were great. Love sitting inside or outside depending on the weather. Their bread is the best bread hands down of anywhere between Jupiter and Vero beach! we will return often.
We love this restaurant and went for Valentine’s Day. The service was wonderful, as always, but the food was disappointing. The grouper was over very over cooked and the rack of lamb was not a particularly high quality and thus the taste was mediocre. We hope this was just a bad night for an otherwise very nice restaurant.
Our second visit to this lovely piece of Paris on the night before Valentine's Day was just wonderful. All of the food was excellent, from the delicious seafood chowder to the flourless chocolate cake! We will definitely be returning!
Fabulous. Nothing more to say.
I would definitely recommend Cafe des Artistes-on the Water to friends and family. I chose it based on the excellent reviews for my first dinner when visiting Jupiter for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed as were my guests of which one was a local and had never been there. The outdoor seating was inviting and relaxing with French music, authentic bistro chairs to enjoy the lovely setting. The grouper was delicious as was the carrot pureé and all the sides. The service was friendly and efficient while not being hurried. I will return when visiting again.
I had duck With orange It was pretty pathetic a little sauce in a cup served with it dry on the plate overcooked terrible presentation total disappointment
It was a prefix menu they had no desserts from the prefix menu… Ran out… No excuse
The French baguettes they serve were undercooked and soft
An expensive one we bought had almost turned and yet they served it anyway
Great location, wonderful food and ambiance, both inside and out. Service was super slow this time, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since this is a nice place to linger in but still...
Went for our anniversary. Very cute authentic place. The food was good and fairly priced. Wish they had a full bar.
Delicious food, beautiful views, and lovely service. Pricey, but that would not dissuade me from returning.
Pricey for service. Lovely spot outside though
Wonderful French Cafe, delicious food, excellent service. Only drawback is no full bar, only wine. And, believe it or not - no french press coffee! If you added these two things it would be perfect!
