Big disappointment. Food tasted microwaved. Literally. I’ve had better French food in Los Angeles. Bill came out to €250 for three people. None of us enjoyed the meal. The beef was rubbery and we couldn’t even slice through it. The fish was pre sliced like it was from a can. The appetizers were bad too. Salmon was ok.

While the service and the decor of the restaurant are excellent, unfortunately the quality of the food did not live up to my expectations and the cost of the meal which was over €400. At that price, my expectations for the quality of the food are very high. The French onion soup was thin, the escargot was fairly bland, and the beef main course a bit too dry. LThe brioche and the dessert that we were served while probably excellent when fresh, were stale when they were served to us. Overall the food let down the excellent decor and service.

Whilst i dont usually post negative things, sadly, my breakfast with a dear friend here was a disappointing experience, especially considering how expensive it is. The room looked very tired. I had eggs Benedict. The eggs were not well cooked and the englush muffins were stale. It was only a little warm. I ordered a cappuccino, which was 10 euros, but it tasted like American drip coffee. The croissants were very fresh and delicious though. The waitor took our order, writing it down and then came back and asked us again! My friend had a bagel, and the whole thing was very cold, as though it had all been in the fridge rather than freshly made.

The waiter took to long to place our order, at the end of the meal there was a mouse behind a drawer next to me, I showed it to the waiter and said it was normal, we did not get any discount or any apologies from them! We asked for the bill at the entrace, payed and left.

Visited Paris for the first time and by far this place was the best. This place will surely have us coming back. The food was incredible and our server, Lucas, was so polite and helpful with suggestions on what to order. After ordering a half bottle of wine, clams as an appetizer, 2 entrees and a side our bill was only about 150 euros ($160). Coming from Los Angeles, this was a STEAL!

This was our first time in Paris to celebrate our anniversary in June! Cafe de la Paix was highly recommended. We had a great waiter! Cyril provided us with excellent recommendations. The food was exquisite, and the ambiance was peaceful. We will definitely return on our next trip!

I treated myself to a nice restaurant when in Paris and this fit the bill. The food and wine is extremely high quality. Impeccable, friendly service. Prices are high but I was happy to spend it here.

I was not satisfied with the colored-eyed gentleman at the reception at the entrance. serving inside mr denis was good. food came too much late and salmon was a bit dry. price is not reasonable in quality balance. the ambiance is nice. Go to the brasserie section.

Elegant and perfect location across from the opera Garnier. Service was uneven. They ran out of brioche the first two evenings I went to the restaurant. They neglected even a happy birthday welcome. Finally the third time I received both a nod and an amuse bouche.

I wish I could accurately rate but unfortunately I sat at a table for 15 min and not a single waiter or staff member came to take even my drink order. The hosts were amazing, very nice and attentive. A bizarre experience.
