If you are looking for a cool classic Brooklyn spot, this is it!
The fish tacos are everything!!!
Great food and ambiance- great latte, but too small- would be nice with a large glass/bowl, French style. Loved the decor; super cool!
Too much noise.
Always love the service, food, and atmosphere. Each time it is a nice cozy and amazing.
delicious, big portions but kind of pricey. We had brunch and I could not consume all of my lemon butter pancakes. Yummy, rich!
Great vibe and very cozy--excellent music and bar. The menu looked great but the food was way too salty for our taste and left us not feeling great.
Very attractive restaurant (both in the design and people there). Solid food for brunch good; presentation and appropriate serving sizes. Brunch standards of French toast and avocado toast came out Instagram ready - nestled in a mini cast iron with brown butter and decorated with shaved radish and dill respectively. If indoors is a bit crowded, see if they'll seat you in the plant filled atrium area in the back.
Food was nothing special and portions were small. Servers and busboys were extremely rude and rushed us out of the restaurant when we were trying to have a nice brunch. Unacceptable.
Love this restaurant. The food, the service and the atmosphere.
Love this place, and have been coming for years. This time was under par. Food was underwhelming, cold and just not that fresh. Not sure what happened that day, but it should never happen in a place that had been consistently good.
I ate at Cafe Colette for new year's eve dinner and it was indeed a special dinner. The fried olives were a lovely starter. The tuna crudo and charred octopus appetizers were perfect. Tuna was delicate and not fishy; the octopus was perfectly cooked and came with tiny clams and braised beans. Delicious. My main was the lobster pot pie. My only complaint was the veggies in the pot pie were a bit undercooked for my taste. But the large pieces of lobster, the sauce, and the puff pastry crust were perfect. For dessert I had tres leches coconut cake, which was to die for. I was super full by then but had to finish it. I'm thinking about it days later. :) Lovely dinner.
Fantastic, classic corner cafe that feels like old Paris. Outstanding food and cocktails. The perfect authentic Brooklyn spot to get away from it all. Go!
Great service and food
Great experience at my favorite place in Williamsburg for cocktails. Visiting from Providence we try and stop here once a year for the last almost 8 yrs as we love it. This time we had dinner and dessert too. The coconut cake was extra fabulous with a frosting that was light and not too sweet — toasted marshmallow foam.
Services was great. We booked through Open Table and arrived early. The host greeted us warmly and though it was crowded the host sat us down right away. Great service. Great night.
great food as always.
octopus is a consistent must have.
Very good food...but the avocado toast doesn’t worth the price. It should be list as an appetizer , it is very very small.
Visited Cafe Collette for brunch with several friends. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly for our reserved table. Service was good, food was very good. Chairs could be more comfortable (some were older metal chairs that were less than desirable). We would come back. Thanks.
The meal was great...the service and staff were so accommodating. The ambiance is typical Williamsburg...lively, hipster, fun.
A totally enjoyable experience
It's a bit too loud for my taste, but everything else was great
The place is nice, staff is cool. The food is okay but don't expect something different/amazing, could be better for the prices. The outdoor tables are nice.
Very beautiful space! The pappardelle was excellent and our server was pleasant if a bit overtaxed. It was a bit loud and VERY Williamsburg, but otherwise good.
Delicious food in a lively, fun atmosphere in a funky area of Williamsburg, Brooklyn a short walk to the inlet park/water.
Great place. Little dark inside. out side tables will be better
I love this restaurant. The menu is short but always imaginative. Service excellent. Music a bit load and I feel detracts form the excellence of the food.
Tasty nouveau-ish American food with refined flavors and ingredients. A refreshing change from Manhattan's overpriced and, comparative, inferior offers.
Absolutely love it! The burger was delicious and the overall ambiance was excellent! Will be back!
love the back patio!!
We stopped into Collete and we were pleasantly surprised at what a lovely little cafe it was. The staff were welcoming and we were given wonderful wine pairings from Francheska. She gave excellent recommendations and was extremely attentive! We will definitely be back!
Nothing short of amazing, the burger is to die for!
I come here at least once a week!
This was our second visit to Cafe Collette. Both times we have had an excellent meal in a very cool environment. We have ordered breakfast items and lunch items and both were excellent , very fresh and loaded with flavor. It is definitely one of our favorite spots .
Great spot for weekend brunch with friends and family! Strongly recommend that you request a table in the back garden area ahead of time to enjoy your meal surrounded by plants and natural lighting. I had the Eggs Polenta with chorizo and a blueberry lemonade - delicious!
The food was delicious! However after telling the waitress we needed one more minute to look a the menu before ordering, we didn't see her for another thirty minutes. It was fine since we were not in a hurry, but surprising since the restaurant was not packed by any means. Overall, the food and ambiance make it worth a return visit.
Cafe Colette is one of my favorite places to grab a bite. The service and food is always great, the staff is polite and I admire the attention to detail.
The manager is awesome -- always stops to check in and get to know the guest on a some what personal level wether it's asking about our week or latest trip.
The burger is sooo good!
Love this place I've been going here for years. It's always reliable, sometime too full to get in sometimes oddly empty but either way the staff, decor, food and ambience are just perfect. Just on the right side of fashionably cool but too cool to care. My one complaint is that the menu is short and they don't update if frequently enough—for someone as regular as me.
My favorite date spot on a Sunday evening, the burger is soo good!
Very disappointing. I have been to this restaurant a handful of times over the years and it is such a cute place, but everything else was a flop. The ravioli my mom got was literally served in water for $25 😳 and my dish came with artichoke that was hard and inedible, it flew across the room when I tried to cut it. Our server also had an attitude and took drinks before they were done.... But the dessert was pretty good.
Love the crispy chicken salad and white fox cocktail. This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint!
Our waiter was awesome, the manager however was super rude, condescending, dismissive and un-accommodating. The food was good but very rich. This used to be one of my go-to brunch spots however I will definitely not patronize this place if the same manager is still employed. Leaving this off yelp because I think that's un-fair to the business and the actual waiter who helped us but thought they should know.
