Café Boulud Palm Beach
The restaurant’s new design is lighter and elegant, achieved with unique touches like a ceiling made from sea shells and Pecky Cyprus, improved lighting, and warm wood flooring surrounding the glowing bar.
The newly expanded bar is dramatically backlit and casts a resplendent glow through the room. It’s a must for cocktails before dinner, craft beers on tap, or to enjoy the crowd and scenery; food is served at the bar throughout the day.
The renovated terrace and private dining rooms are a destination for entertaining in style, with a menu that balances signature Boulud dishes and French favorites inspired by his restaurants around the world.
During the high season, jackets are preferred. Shorts and beachwear are not permitted.

Wonderful atmosphere. From arrival and being met by great valets to the hostess to the professional servers, we enjoyed every moment. Food was excellent - recommend coq au vin. So flavorful and tender. Our servers were so personable and knowledgeable about the menu, they made it easy to select our individual meals. We will definitely return soon.
Amazing tasting menu. The cocktail I had was made table side and was fantastic. The food was fresh with unique flavors. Attentive service. THE RESTAURANT to go to when you are in PB!
My friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Cafe Boulud! From the beginning with the valet service until the end of our visit, everything was impeccable. Our food was delicious, and we appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff. We noticed how well everyone worked together, and we look forward to returning!
Service was impeccable, food was outstanding and ambiance was incredible. Thank you for an amazing experience.
if you are dining more than once at Café Boulud during your stay, a greater variation in menu from night to night would be a boon
We enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu for our anniversary and everything was delicious. The service and ambiance are always top notch.
As always, a great experience. Curtis, our server was not only conversational but could recite the menu without a hitch. A valuable addition to the restaurant. As a fan and friend of Daniel I can say Café Boulud is still wonderful.
What a lovely little restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. The service was top notch and the food was very nicely presented. It is on the pricey side, however each bite was worth it.
It has a great combination of professional but relaxed service, upscale kitchen with lovely presentation, and waitstaff that make you feel very welcome.
Definitely our favorite restaurant in PB. Not inexpensive but worth it...
Service was very good
Our waiter could not have emote attentive
But good was just fair, 3rd time I’ve been there and it wasn’t the charm. Maybe it’s just me. My dinner partner said hers was very good
We are English and our expectations are different in most respects, not better just different, the service, food quality, ambiance were very European in all these respects and on par with a 1 star Michelin restaurant. There is 1 pet objection most Europeans have when dining in the USA and it happened in the correct way, which servers constantly asking if everything is to our liking especially when your mouth is full and cannot reply even if you wanted to!!!, this question should only be asked at the end of the meal, because if there was something wrong the customer would tell you😁
Delicious! We had a lovely lunch. We would come back.
This restaurant will not disappoint - from silver service, to presentation to sheer blissful bites, you simply cannot go wrong with Cafe Boulud, Palm Beach.
Celebrating our five year anniversary.
We went for the Chefs “Taste of China” was phenomenal experience. Did the wine pairing as well which were delish. Only complaint was foreign servers a bit hard to understand. Could have been me as much as them.
Met up with friends that we had not seen in 20 years. They frequent your restaurant often. Absolutely memorable delightful evening
We have had our daughter’s wedding and my 60th birthday party here and the place is jewel. Can’t say enough wonderful things about it.
When we first sat down and ordered drinks, I ordered the Bloody Mary bar and my friend ordered a mixed drink from the bar. Although the bar was empty, it took a bit of time but once my friend was brought her drink we then waited for mine. Finally I told the server to cancel my Bloody Mary. She then (defensively) said that only the manager can bring the Bloody Mary cart and he was busy pouring wine at other tables. (Not clear on why this was the process since the bartender was not doing anything.)
So we were nice about it but did say it was disappointing not to have the drinks togther. I suggested that she could have told us when we ordered that there may be a wait for the Bloody Mary and both drinks may not be served at the same time. Then the manager came over and offered to bring the Bloody Mary cart. At that point, I had lost my appetite for the drink so I didn't want it.
At the end of the meal, the server brought us a free batch of fresh baked mini donuts/cakes as a way to compensate for the inconvenience over the drinks. That was nice and appropriate but she waited until the end of the meal to say something about it. Had she said something after the Bloody Mary bit about wanting to bring something for dessert on the house then right away we would have felt like they were being more accommodating.
The food was good but I didn't like the way that whole bit was handled.
Our server, Curtis, was exceptional. We did the tasting menu which was phenomenal. We loved it so much, we plan to return next week.
The restaurant is located inside a hotel. We walked in for brunch and were seated quickly. There were some folks at the bar who were surprisingly drunk and boisterous for 11am on a Sunday. Nothing separates the bar from the main dining area so we had the displeasure of their company throughout our meal. The service was extremely good with a waiter and two bussers constantly crumbing, filling drinks and removing plates. The food itself was surprisingly disappointing given the reputation. My rate had a lobster roll that was heavy on garnish and light on lobster. I had the steamed mussels, recommended by our server as the best thing on the menu, which were disappointingly flavorless. We’d been excited to go here because of the strong reviews but were really disappointed with our food. Wouldn’t recommend and probably won’t be back. That said, all service employees we encountered were attentive and extremely polite.
Our server was was delightful! We had the Vietnamese tasting menu with wine pairing which was delicious and interesting, paired perfectly with 5 French wines. Highly recommend!!
Service was attentive and friendly -- a big plus. The dining space is a bit closed-in but fairly attractive. Not perfect, but nothing to complain about either. The noise level was good for conversation and the tables are not wedged together. Some of the dishes were excellent, others only so-so. I had a pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage which was ho-hum -- technically good but a much-served dish not redeemed by anything special in the preparation. My wife's chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. I started with a good gazpacho, but I had one at least as tasty at a friend's house the previous night; my wife had an excellent salad. The pastry chef seemed to be extremely good. Overall, the quality is good to very good but not great. My quibble is with the prices, especially the wine prices, which made the visit less attractive for the money.
Best Place to dine in PB County. Food and service are unmatched, I always get excited to dine at Cafe Boulud and the experience is always above my expectations. Thank you and great job.
Everything was very nice except our waiter. The maitre d was exceptiona, we were there with a one year old and he actually played with him. Now, our waiter was a complete different story. He seemed to be bothered about questions we were asking and in a rush all night which made it very uncomfortable.
Excellent. Well be back as soon we can. A wonderful experience.
The menu here could be so much better than it is, and is not up to the quality of the decor and service, nor the prices. Mushroom taglionini had a sauce of melted butter only, with chopped mushrooms added to the pasta. Dessert menu was limited and uninspired. The ambience is lovely, and the bar menu is actually quite good. It would be nice if some of the bar dishes were available on the regular dining menu.
Had a wonderful time once again with great food & service. Our friends loved it too!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy fabulous food.
The Grand Marnier souffle was exquisite
Excellent service and food was tasty
My previous meal here was disappointing, which i attributed to an off night. Key west shrimp were excellent, gazpacho very ordinary, my wife’s mussels were not fresh and the sauce again very ordinary, my pasta dish was very salty. We had considered the vietnamese tasting menu and we are so glad we did not invest more in this disappointing experience
Great service good food
I had great memories from when we last came to this restaurant just three years ago and was hoping for the same. We arrived at 9:25pm and were rushed to order as the kitchen was closing... Then the amuse-bouche arrived in a form of three tiny watermelon cubes, one per person. The snapper was fine, but my son only had three bites of his burger as apparently it was too dry and my husband's steak was apparently overdone, and unfortunately as the kitchen was closed, we did not comment .... What saved the day were their madeleines, stil warm and delicious just as the last time and which were still worth the visit.
Superb fine dining in a beautiful room with outstanding service. Food preparation and presentation is at the highest level.
We had excellent service from Curtis....really knowledgeable about the food preparation and so helpful and friendly. It made our experience much more enjoyable. Curtis gave us great advice about selecting items from the menu.
We loved the fresh fish, the salads, and desserts.
It was really a treat to enjoy such a beautiful environment for dinner. Can’t wait to return.
The food is wonderful. A little pricey but it is Palm Beach. The Sommelier is delightful. Their service team was pretty good once they got going. I think they could do a little work on their desert selections but overall it’s a good, very upscale, very French restaurant in a Palm Beach boutique hotel. We like it and plan to become regulars. If you’re in town during the summer months you can take advantage of summer wine promotions on Sundays.
The service was good, the food wasn’t great. Not a memorable brunch. I would recommend it to local patrons bc its right by the beach & worth ave, but we drove from Boca. We went there bc of the renowned chef & pastry chef. We saw the Pastry chef on Food Network.
First time visit. Fabulous evening! The mint cocktail was sublime. Fra Diablo pasta was mouthwatering. Parisian gnocchi so tasty and light. Best duck in years. Array of deserts were delicious! Curtis is a wonderful waiter and Martial made sure we enjoyed everything. Would definitely visit again when next in Palm Beach.
Terrific Summer Dinner In PB
Great Food and service as always.
Menu options very poor executed , specially for the high price ; expectations also are higher and the quality was very very disappointing . If you like well prepared French food do not go. If like the hotel just go have a drink and eat somewhere else will be my advise .
I’ve been coming to Cafe Boulud for ten years invariably to a good meal. Unfortunately, the Veal shank served on June 26 was so salty as to be inedible, and the accompaniment bland to the point of tasteless. A most unsatisfactory meal.
