Café Boulud Palm Beach
The restaurant’s new design is lighter and elegant, achieved with unique touches like a ceiling made from sea shells and Pecky Cyprus, improved lighting, and warm wood flooring surrounding the glowing bar.
The newly expanded bar is dramatically backlit and casts a resplendent glow through the room. It’s a must for cocktails before dinner, craft beers on tap, or to enjoy the crowd and scenery; food is served at the bar throughout the day.
The renovated terrace and private dining rooms are a destination for entertaining in style, with a menu that balances signature Boulud dishes and French favorites inspired by his restaurants around the world.
During the high season, jackets are preferred. Shorts and beachwear are not permitted.

Always our favorite! The food is amazing and the patio setting is lovely.
Beautiful outdoor setting. Very nice staff that is attentive to details. Gives a European character, which is very nice in USA. Food is served too hastily. That does not fit to a nice dinner ambiance. We were done in 1.15 hours with the whole 3 course meal. That is too fast.
The maitre de was rude. He didn’t even wait for my friend to pay his bar tab before whisking us to a table on the other side of the restaurant where my friend had no way of finding us. I had to go back to the bar to retrieve him as he was only then done paying. The service was rushed. They served appetizers within 5 minutes of ordering and we hadn’t yet had a chance to order wine. The main course was served almost immediately after the appetizers. They were clearly trying to turn the table so we ordered a second bottle of wine. The food was good but not what you’d expect at those price points. We went to the bar for a drink and were completely ignored by the 2 bartenders who were solely focused on the service bar. I had to walk over to them to make eye contact and to order. They were fine after that.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Every dish was great. Very pricey.
The food was ok and cold. The white cosmos were very good. Service was mediocre. We went for my daughters 21st birthday, over priced for what is was, underwhelmed.
Food is OUTSTANDING, service is Amazing and Servers knows their menu to assist you in making your choice.
Beautiful setting, delicious food and amazing service. Will definitely return !
My 2nd visit. I tried giving it another try. Very disappointing.
Wonderful outdoor lunch experience. Good service.
Not worth it for the price and the service wasn’t great either.
Great patio peaceful elegant delicious food great service
The burger took too long to get to our table - after we finished our appetizer we waited 20-25 minutes to get the burger for my wife - we weren’t hungry then - so we had to endure eating our main course nevertheless. Obviously we had indigestion all night. Not right.
Our favorite restaurant in Palm Beach.
Always a lovely evening when seated outside in the courtyard. Service and food both delightful.
Another wonderful meal and great service.
Wonderful oasis in the beautiful garden. Food delicious as always. A pleasure to go.
The setting was beautiful!! However.... Two issues: firstly, there was a tone of constant up-selling throughout the meal by our waiter, which wasn’t expected nor appreciated in this type of restaurant. Second; We were slightly disappointed that the “black truffle risotto” didn’t have any trace of black truffle flavor whatsoever. Black truffle typically is a very pungent flavor and the fact there was absolutely zero essence was an issue. We brought this up with the waiter and the manager and I was given a poor excuse for the lack of flavor. I suggested they adjust the menu wording. They took $6 off our meal. For an establishment regarded as highly, we were disappointed to say the least.
Duck was inedible. Deer was excellent.
The lobster roll I had was not good. Didn’t have much lobster and the one it had was overcooked and did not taste very fresh.
The dinner was truly outstanding from beginning to end
Love your restaurant! Great service and delicious food
Another delightful evening in the most charming restaurant of palm beach. The courtyard is unbeatable. I felt very comfortable. The food is divine and the service make you feel like royalties.
Had such a lovely dinner this evening! The pate was amazing and the hamachi was such a refreshing starter! We went for the specials, duck confit with foie gras 😍 and a special turbot fish!! Both perfectly cooked. We finished with the chocolate martini mouse which had a nice surprise to come with it! Our server was friendly and entertaining, guiding us through the menu and truly showing his passion for food! Can’t wait to come back! Well done chef!
We haven’t been ou to dinner in many months... this was a rewarding ,sweetly savored comeback!
Having enjoyed other DB owned restaurants, we were disappointed in our dinner at his Palm Beach location. There was nothing outstanding about the prix fix menu, some of the items were simply mediocre at best. One of the dessert choices tasted medicinal. On top of that our waiter was not engaged and we left very unsatisfied having paid close to $1,000 for a party of four. We know the wonderful experience that DB is capable of providing his guests so he needs to check in on this location. That said, the location and ambience is lovely.
Love this place. No place better to take your valentine. (if you like her) ;-)
It's a beautiful night with amazing food and service. We were greeted with a welcome and enjoy. Great please to feel good about yourself.
Went for Valentine’s Day price fix the food was amazing. Kristen was a server and she was fantastic. Highly recommended.
The kitchen was not up to it's normal standards...I have eaten numerous times at Cafe Boulud (Palm Beach) and it has always been very good. But the Valentine Dinner with past week was only fair...the foie gras was very tasty but sending out a nice piece of foie gras with a small slice of brioche is a miss asked a waiter for more bread and got baguette slices not brioche. The entree was snapper cooked very nicely but lukewarm when it arrived at the table...not as appetizing.
Whether you eat inside or out, Cafe Boulud is my favorite restaurant in Palm Beach. The food is always excellent, and the staff exceptionally welcoming.
My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day Brunch. We’ve been here many times before. After returning from 3 years in Napa, we we’re excited to go back again for amazing ambiance, service, and food. Ambiance...perfect! The other two not there. We had a bottle of champagne which was oddly placed next to another table, and sat there with empty glasses a good portion of the time on a super hot day. Our server walked past multiple times seeing empty glasses and finished plates and just ignored it. Out first course, I had the red salad and he had the sun choke soup. He said the soup was good, but my salad looked like slop that someone coated in a rancid dressing and threw a few croutons on top. Neither looked pretty (which is part of the hefty price tag (eat with your eyes first), and what Chef Dan Boulud is known for. The dressing on my salad was inedible. Tons of bitter ingredients, no acid to cut it, just fishy tasting cream. Bizarre. I sat there with my full uneaten salad for quite a while. At no point were we ever asked how the food was. Eventually after I asked for our server, I was offered another option, and chose the shrimp. The shrimp was actually very tasty, but basic, and once again plated in such a basic way. Good, but nothing to write home about. The entree courses were better. My gnocchi was actually amazing, and finally beautifully plated like I was expecting. My husband had the salmon Benedict which he said was good, but no different than any other except for the caviar on top. Nothing special. The deserts were ok. I had the key lime which was basic. He had the St. Honore. It was beautiful, but very stale compared to others we’ve had. The server towards the end did become more attentive. However, after having dined at Cafe Boulud before, and expecting the level of flavor, plating, and service. Having just returned from eating daily at Napa restaurants (DB is easily comparable to), we felt as if it was a complete overpriced tourist trap experience.
Long hair cooked into my girlfriends fish entre . Manager told us that none of his chefs have that kind of hair. Extremely inappropriate response for anybody in a restaurant let alone a highly rated expensive venue .
Outstanding food and service!!!!
Food and atmosphere was awesome. The restaurant is beautiful.
My wife and I had dinner there February 12 for her birthday. It couldn't have been any better. The manager, Vincent, made sure we had a table in the outdoor courtyard while we enjoyed the two specials that evening; bison tenderloin and fresh halibut, both superbly prepared. Our waiter was one of the best in the restaurant business. We finished the meal off with grand marnier souffle. Whenever we are in the Palm Beach area, we will definitely make it a point to have dinner there again.
Love this amazing restaurant! Always exceptional
