Café Boulud Palm Beach
The restaurant’s new design is lighter and elegant, achieved with unique touches like a ceiling made from sea shells and Pecky Cyprus, improved lighting, and warm wood flooring surrounding the glowing bar.
The newly expanded bar is dramatically backlit and casts a resplendent glow through the room. It’s a must for cocktails before dinner, craft beers on tap, or to enjoy the crowd and scenery; food is served at the bar throughout the day.
The renovated terrace and private dining rooms are a destination for entertaining in style, with a menu that balances signature Boulud dishes and French favorites inspired by his restaurants around the world.
During the high season, jackets are preferred. Shorts and beachwear are not permitted.

The Grand Marnier souffle was exquisite
My previous meal here was disappointing, which i attributed to an off night. Key west shrimp were excellent, gazpacho very ordinary, my wife’s mussels were not fresh and the sauce again very ordinary, my pasta dish was very salty. We had considered the vietnamese tasting menu and we are so glad we did not invest more in this disappointing experience
Great service good food
I had great memories from when we last came to this restaurant just three years ago and was hoping for the same. We arrived at 9:25pm and were rushed to order as the kitchen was closing... Then the amuse-bouche arrived in a form of three tiny watermelon cubes, one per person. The snapper was fine, but my son only had three bites of his burger as apparently it was too dry and my husband's steak was apparently overdone, and unfortunately as the kitchen was closed, we did not comment .... What saved the day were their madeleines, stil warm and delicious just as the last time and which were still worth the visit.
Superb fine dining in a beautiful room with outstanding service. Food preparation and presentation is at the highest level.
We had excellent service from Curtis....really knowledgeable about the food preparation and so helpful and friendly. It made our experience much more enjoyable. Curtis gave us great advice about selecting items from the menu.
We loved the fresh fish, the salads, and desserts.
It was really a treat to enjoy such a beautiful environment for dinner. Can’t wait to return.
The food is wonderful. A little pricey but it is Palm Beach. The Sommelier is delightful. Their service team was pretty good once they got going. I think they could do a little work on their desert selections but overall it’s a good, very upscale, very French restaurant in a Palm Beach boutique hotel. We like it and plan to become regulars. If you’re in town during the summer months you can take advantage of summer wine promotions on Sundays.
The service was good, the food wasn’t great. Not a memorable brunch. I would recommend it to local patrons bc its right by the beach & worth ave, but we drove from Boca. We went there bc of the renowned chef & pastry chef. We saw the Pastry chef on Food Network.
First time visit. Fabulous evening! The mint cocktail was sublime. Fra Diablo pasta was mouthwatering. Parisian gnocchi so tasty and light. Best duck in years. Array of deserts were delicious! Curtis is a wonderful waiter and Martial made sure we enjoyed everything. Would definitely visit again when next in Palm Beach.
Terrific Summer Dinner In PB
Great Food and service as always.
Menu options very poor executed , specially for the high price ; expectations also are higher and the quality was very very disappointing . If you like well prepared French food do not go. If like the hotel just go have a drink and eat somewhere else will be my advise .
I’ve been coming to Cafe Boulud for ten years invariably to a good meal. Unfortunately, the Veal shank served on June 26 was so salty as to be inedible, and the accompaniment bland to the point of tasteless. A most unsatisfactory meal.
Snapper presentation and taste was not good. Beet salad has no greens whatsoever. Poor presentation of vegetables given with dover sole. Not what one would expect from this restaurant.
Great Sunday brunch. Perfect mix of breakfast and lunch foods to pick from. Service was absolutely perfect.
Will surely return !
Birthday celebration and everyone treated the birthday boy wonderfully
Enjoyable. Good food. Good service.
On an island where 5 star restaurant experiences abound, Cafe Boulaud stands above the crowd. It may be the premier restaurant in town.
WE had a wonderful time at Café Boulud Palm Beach. Excelent food and pleasant service.
It was a nice upscale restaurant. The staff was very nice and told us about 1/2 bottle wines Sundays during the summer! Also many different tasting courses come up on Fridays and Saturdays!
Cocktails well executed. Food and wine delicious. Service staff knowledgable, very accommodating and pleasant. Dining room beautiful. Chairs comfortable. Table next to us a little loud but no reflection on the quality of Boulud. Will be back.
The food was delicious! Service and ambiance were excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful restaurant- understated class, quiet and charming- perfect for a quintessential Palm Beach experience. Service is attentive but not intrusive, food is absolutely amazing. If you are considering, just go.
Acceptable food at unacceptable prices. The 1/2 portion plate (gnocchi) was barely more 2 large spoonfuls. Wine list was ridiculously overpriced. A place to taste, but eat dinner either before or after your visit.
Small over salted bowl of chicken $39.
Way too expensive and sub par food.
It was a lovely evening, Curtis was a fantastic waiter. It was our anniversary and they were very nice with a special dessert and treats❤️
I loved the ambiance and the food was excellent. I felt it was a Little overpriced. I plan on coming back soon.
Service is always consistently terrific. Judy took great care of me and my guest.
We had a lovely early dinner planned and asked to sit outside. We had looked online at the menu only to be told it wasn't accurate and there was not an early pre fix nor were there many of the items on the menu posted. I was told when i made the reservation there were air and fans outside but when we arrived that was not the case. It surprised us that a restaurant of this quality would not have a insect mist control system, we moved inside due to insects biting not the heat.
IT all got better from there..... we had great service, food was very good and our requests were met without issue. Half price wine bottles, we had a lovely Rose..... Madeline's were the cherry on top.... didn't expect them but always love them at the end of my meal at Daniel!
Waiter was personable and attentive, rest of staff good too. Ambience/environment nice, not special. Although I didn't avail myself of the service, they do craft cocktails at the table, which is a cute touch. Food was very good. My duck was just slightly underdone but delicious. My wife had a very nice fish dish. It's hard to tell from a single visit but I would definitely go back to try other things. Wine list looks like a nice selection and they have a Tuesday bring your own no cork fee special. Expect to pay $100 plus per person, regardless.
👍👍to Curtis. Excellent service, as always. Everything delicious: most delightful!
It was our first experience Cafe Boulud and what a fantastic experience it was. Great for an anniversary. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent dining experience. The food ,service and setting are first rate
It was phenomenal!
Dover sole was expensive and not very good
I requested outdoor seating through open table
When we got there the outside was taken by a private party. The maitre d said he does not read the opentable reservation special requests
We have eaten there several times before but this time the food was awful, prepared With no love, and mundane. The fish had scales on it. The food was overly salty. The shrimp were tasteless.
The pesto was inedible. And the manager did not care. A terrible experience.
The food was pretty good but the ambiance was disappointing. The tables were so close to each other that you could hear other table's conversations and it was difficult to talk privately for a party of two. We were there celebrating our anniversary and were expecting to exchange some loving words during dinner which we couldn't do comfortably. For the same reason it was also hard to hear the waiters and the place was not even full: upon arrival when we asked for a 'more private' spot we were told by the hostess that the other half of the patio sitting area was closed/unutilized for the night. And this may subjective but the whole experience felt rushed for me. They did serve us a complimentary dessert after we had passed on them because it was too soon after the entree, and that was a nice detail. I was too full to taste it but the thought is appreciated. All in all, the food is 9/10 and the place is very good looking, but I'd probably be picking a different place next time.
Truly amazing food. Great service. Everything we tried was excellent. Our new favorite in Palm Beach.
We hadn’t been to Cafe Boulud for 14 years having left the area. We were very pleased with the overall atmosphere, service by Ion and dining choices. Everything was well prepared and presented. A great dining experience and definitely worth checking it out.
Beautiful setting on the outdoor patio. Waiter and hostess could have been a little friendlier when we asked about AC/temperature control but overall service was good. My third time here and will definitely be back.
Cafe Boulud Palm Beach is our favorite Palm Beach dining spot. We always recommend this gorgeous restaurant to experience the quintessential Palm Beach night out in a beautiful and intimate setting, with delicious food, impeccable service, and the most wonderful welcome and hospitality from the Manager, the Host and Maitre'D. We love the elegant dining room as well as the intimate terrace. Please put this special restaurant on your must try list!
As always they never disappoint. We had a romantic 25th wedding anniversary dinner. Food is outstanding and service is attentive
