Cafe Birdie
It was great! My favorite dinner item was the Cacio Pepe pasta and Meatballs. Our waiter Karl was perfection.
If I had to change anything it would be adding an ice cream option on the dessert menu.
Love Birdie. It's become one of our neighborhood favorites. The cocktails are creative and evenly balanced. There's something for everyone. The service can be a little touch and go, but never so much that it ruins the experience. Setting and decor are both cozy and elevated. Our favorite dishes are the sweet potato w/cashews (sounds simple but is killer) and the Morrocan chicken.
great service, beautiful space, very cool 'speakeasy' hidden in back, while in front a perfectly run restaurant with great food and service
Cafe Birdie is becoming my favorite Sunday funday brunch spot. Love the service and the food never disappoints!!!
Cute spot. Food and service were good. Nice spot for brunch, date night, group meal. We'll definitely be back. :)
Fabulous brunch menu! Great food and ambiance. Husband died and went to heaven over the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken side!!
Delicious food, perfect portions, nice ambiance, great experience!
First time sitting inside here. It’s very nice but very loud. The outdoor experience here is preferred but probably not ideal when it’s colder in the winter.
Beautiful location, but the food was served cold and the staff could not find the time to sweep the floor between tables, so the floor was literally awash in crumbs and "funk" so layered they cast shadows. The funk was gross, but the cold food really did it for me...we ordered 3 main dishes and while all were delicious and unique, they ALL came out cold and since they were all served together, stupidly, they went from cold to ice cold before we could even get halfway through any of them. The location is gorgeous, but not enough to bring me back.
Really lovely, easy going date spot. Food is always delicious, comforting and original with unexpected depth of flavor.
Eclectic menu as opposed to a theme. The environment is fun but also very loud
Very good, even inspired, dishes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Way too loud however. Should not have to shout to be heard over the din. Eat to the beat is getting old in the hotspot dining scene. Other ways to provide high energy.
Birthday celebration. Food and service was excellent even on a rainy night.
Everything was great. First time. Will be back many more times.
We prefer to sit outside because it is a bit quieter and easier to have a conversation. We have been to Cafe Birdie a number of times and the service is always wonderful. The servers are attentive, personable and very knowledgeable about the food, the wine, and the cocktails. The food is wonderful. The General Manager has checked with us each time we have visited to make sure everything is to our liking. On one occasion we were, surprisingly, disappointed with the Tres Leches dessert. It was a bit dry. We mentioned this an, apparently, they listened because the dish was delicious this time, moist and oozing with cream. Cafe Birdie always offers a memorable dining experience.
I love this restaurant. From the minute we walked in we felt comfortable. The wait staff was very welcoming and helpful. The tables aren't jammed against each other. The food is amazing. Every dish was exquisite. Can't wait to go back.
Impressed every time I go. And we’ve been twice this week.
New Years Eve
Oh my gosh, try the Mussels. They were incredibly delicious. Everything else was on point even though John the manager came by to ask if we'd asked to be seated on the patio—it was a cold night but the heaters kept it pleasant at the table.
The ambience is lively and the food was great. Really appreciated the small plates to share. Our waiter was fantastic.
Good service, friendly staff, and awesome flavors! Loved the mushroom toast and breakfast sandwich! I plan to return again and experience dinner. Great coffee experience!
The food was very tasty but the service was definitely not great. It seemed they were a little busy but our server kept walking by us without checking in on us. We tried to catch his eye for 20 minutes to pay the bill before we finally had to ask someone else to get it for us. It's a cute space but the acoustics made it very loud so wouldn't recommend for a date if you actually want to speak to the person. Happy hour at the bar seemed cool though.
Brilliant table, food, drinks and service.
Excellent! Really enjoyed the meal/experience. Will definitely come back
Five of us all loved Birdie from ambience to menu, presentation, taste, service and price. Shout out to our waitress Jordyn. Relaxed and just enough hip. We enjoyed being able to have a conversation without having to yell. I will return for sure. Public parking at the rear.
Delicious tapas in a beautiful setting. Loved the maitake mushrooms so much and they had my fave white style that I don't know how to spell but it starts with a Tch or something.
Work Holiday Brunch
Unbelievable service here. Foods great small menu , I’m a meaty, gf is a veggie and they have awesome options for both. Staff Immediately make you feel welcome and put in the extra touch to make sure your comfortable. Couldn’t recommend enough for a date or casual dinner, great ambiance, def coming back.
Excellent meal! The Moroccan fried chicken and meatballs were excellent!!
Tables were too close together, portions were small, and the steak and desserts were executed poorly.
Service was terrible.
Appetizers never came . We had to ask repeatedly for items which we ordered. We were never checked in on.
We had to flag another server to get us another order of drinks.
One of our courses never came , we repeatedly asked for it and finally when we asked to cancel the plate it finally arrived. Although,One drink and plate were removed from the bill as a courtesy gesture we will never return nor will I be recommending this establishment. Such a bad experience.
We went to Cafe Birdie to celebrate to family birthdays. The food was creative, fresh and very tasty. The service was great and the beverages great also. We will definitely visit again soon.
A welcomed addition to the selection of NEW Fig eateries. Give e'm a shot.
I went with hubby and his best friend. We all loved it. Great ambiance. Has a nice intimate meets hip vibe. Perfect lighting. Loved the cocktails and food. Kale and sprouts dish was unique and delicious. Burgers and scallops were all tasty. Can’t wait to go back.
Very dark and very noisy, but otherwise the food was creative and very tasty and the service is friendly and attentive. The location is fun as well although leave plenty of time to find parking.
Interesting and tasty dishes served family style. Nice ambiance. Patio seating available. There is a bar in the restaurant and a second behind the patio serving craft cocktails, beer and wine.
Delicious food! Beautiful decor and good service. Cocktails terrific! Only drawback was tables squashed too closely together and loud person on next table ruined first 10 minutes. Fortunately she left.
LOve the place --nice room and crowd.
Pica Paloma is great--also the shishido peppers with tuna! Nice surprise.
Every dish was fantastic, the fried chicken was amazing. I will be back!
Had a wonderful overall experience. Will definitely come back again soon
