   Staff seemed overrun. Food was ok. Table was not cleared and plates were left on table even after we asked for the bill.

   Lovely place to meet and chat with friends, music in background you dont have to shout at each other.. Food Lovely. Staff excellent and a lovely art deco room. Highly recommend.

   Due to a residential dance weekend event the restaurant was very busy when we arrived despite having booked in advance. At that point the staff were clearly overwhelmed and we waited 10 minutes before our presence was addressed. (There were other diners in front of us waiting too ) The wiatress was most apologetic, and when realising we were booked in she made swift efforts to get us to table. I ordered drinks for all of us whilst she was giving us menus but a further 10 minutes elapsed before catching her eye to ask the whereabouts of said drinks. She apologised again and a few minutes later our drinks arrived, with the same waitress who made a point of telling us that 2 of the drinks would be FOC due to the wait. She also pointed out that the kitchen were extremely pressed and our food could be some time due to the numbers involved. That aside we were happy to relax with our drinks and chat until our starters arrived, and I must say the belly pork was very good. The rest of the meal followed in timely fashion and was most enjoyable. All in all we enjoyed a very positive experience. The staff went to great lengths to ensure we were looked after especially the waitress who greeted and seated us despite being under pressure, so very well done!

   Great food in a beautiful setting. Lovely art deco restaurant matching with the hotel. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Never had a bad experience. Gorgeous gluten free afternoon tea.

   Beautifully decorated restaurant with a lovely calm atmosphere. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was really nice and pretty good value for a hotel. The drinks were reasonable too.

   Although we were the only diners, the background music ensured it was not too quiet. The food came out quickly, was piping hot and there was plenty of it. If anything the plates were too small for the amount of food served. Full English for brunch came with everything.

   Beautiful dining room. Excellent staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Great food as always. Good variety on menu. Highly recommend

   We had a lovely meal yesterday evening at Cafe Bar Concerto (in the Earl of Doncaster hotel). We received excellent service from the bar, server and chef. The food was delicious and was well worth the money. This restaurant is definitely somewhere special to eat. Thank you to the members of staff who looked after us.
