the young lady who met me at the the reception area said "Do you want me to sat you now?" On our way there I said "FYI it's seat you now" she said "thank you I've been saying that all night" she was young and very sweet how is it that management or any staff didn't help her by training her properly............. SERVICE::: waitress was not familiar with the menu when I asked if there was any onions or garlic on the bread because I am allergic she said" its just regular pizza bread" my girlfriend ate it and said yes it does don't eat it.......... I told the waitress and she said "oh" I asked for some plain bread she told me" there is none sorry" I explicitly told her please no grated cheese on my food yet when it came it was allover my pasta....she said "oh I didn't look" I said well take it off and get me pasta without grated cheese.....she did................ food was excellent huge portions............train your people!!!!!

Always a great meal at Cafe Baci. Good variety of dishes and the portions are very large. A single dish can serve 2 or 3 easily and are so reasonably priced its almost unbelievable. Be prepared to bring food home and enjoy it again.

What a great experience! The staff was so accommodating for my step son who is in a wheelchair. They made sure our table was perfect for him. Every member of the staff we encountered was so wonderful. The food was off the charts amazing. We will definitely be back!

As always the food was delicious. The waiter was a bit slow, but it was understandable, it was pretty busy and he appeared to be new. He was very nice and polite. My family and I have gone to Baci's for over 15 years! It's our favorite go to Italian spot.

Food used to be so good. Completely downhill on every meal we ordered. Chicken Francese tastes like a salt shaker. Chicken Milanese and Veal Milanese had no flavor and completely dried out. The pizza margherita was a pile of dough. Brought out the wrong pasta choice for my son. Then we had to wait to pay the bill. I’ll never go back unfortunately a fan favorite is now a distant memory.

we have been going to bocci for years.... service was horrable ... Coffee was brought with out spoons or sugar... Dessert was brought with no forks.... we were charged for crotons (hand full must be 25cents worth and charged 3 dollars) without being told there was a charge.... had to wait after we received meal for pepper and graded cheese....

Even with an OpenTable reservation... I think we got the worst table in the place, right next to the kitchen pass. It's right in the path every patron takes to get to their table from the entrance, and so much bustle (that's expected) from a busy restaurant. I did offer we'd be willing to wait for a table a little further away from the pass, but was told "All tables are booked, sorry". What's unexpected is that salad appetizer arrived 30 seconds before 4 entrees. Literally, hadn't dished out 1 portion of salad and entrees were being dropped on the table. The food tasted good, and there's plenty of it. I think that's the only positive I have on this review. Waitress seemed to forget about us (even though we were in her critical path---to both the pass and the bar!). The food's decent, but between the noise level (not enough soft surfaces to absorb noise) and the declining service level... I don't think I'll be back to Baci.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and it never fails to provide excellent tasting food and more than enough to take home for at least one or two meals. This was my first time eating inside a restaurant in 18 months and I chose this one because of my past experiences and to celebrate my son’s graduation. It was a great experience and the food was delicious as always.

My mother in-law didn’t like her entree at all. When the waitress asked if she wanted it wrapped to go she said no! The waitress never asked if there was something wrong with her food, seeing a full bowl she should have asked if the food was OK!

Used to love Cafe Baci but the last couple of visits I’ve been underwhelmed by the food. I had the eggplant parmigiana and it was very bland. Last time had a pasta dish with chicken and shrimp also very mediocre. Portions are ridiculously big and I hope they are not ignoring quality for the sake of sending people home with “doggy bags”. Also the waitress disappeared after the entrees were brought out by kitchen staff…I probably would have had another glass of wine but she didn’t come by again until the table was cleared for dessert/check. The restaurant wasn’t busy so it didn’t appear that she had many other tables to cover. I thought my disappointment from the prior visit was just an off night and ordering the wrong thing, but feeling this way twice in a row makes me wonder what’s going on…

This is my husband's HAPPY place! He loves Cafe Baci! The portions are huge and everything is always tasty. The Manhattan he ordered was well priced and just right. He ate the Chicken Parm - and I ate Salmon with clams and mussels. I love the chunks of garlic. We had to take home food- there was so much. We were disappointed with the coffee -not good at all. Cafe Baci f may not be as 'fine ' as some of our neighborhood Roslyn restaurants - but we love the homey feeling.

We been coming to Baci for years now and it never disappoints. Always treated like family. Service is amazing as well as food quality and portions overflowing from dishes.
