The hostess offered to clean up a prime table for us, even though we hadn’t requested. Ümit was GREAT! He refilled water consistently and kept checking in on our progress. We started with delicious charcuterie board which was too much to finish. The Steak special with mushrooms and mashed potatoes a delicious house salad, again too much to finish. Ginger martini and Aperol spritz before and included glass of Tempernio wine PERFECT! Dinner was topped off with the sounds of Holly Lane singing and John Flynn on keyboard. Azafran never disappoints!!

Fantastic small plates, with very good selection for vegetarians. Restaurant was very accommodating with an inside table reservation on a busy night. Note that the "bar" seating choice is at the bar, not bar tables. Wish we were here longer to enjoy the "theme" nights, especially the paella night.

We loved rhis restaurant 3 years ago. Our experience was completely different this time, and we will not be returning to dine here. Some dishes were tasty, but the watermelon berry salad had a negligible amount of watermelon, making the salad much too tart. The tapas were decent, but definitely overpriced. We asked that the beef tapa we ordered be cooked well done, but it was medium at best. It was so noisy in the room we were in that we had to shout. As I stated earlier, we will not be returning.

We’ve dined at Cafe Azafran many times and have never been disappointed. The brie appetizer was deliciously served with a warm crusty baguette. The scallops and petite crab cake small plates were full of flavor and just enough to satisfy and leave room for the key lime cheesecake. The only drawback is the tables in the front room are so close that you feel as though you’re dining with your neighboring table but the space is small and really can’t be helped. Considering everything, it’s still one, if not the best restaurant in Rehoboth in my opinion!

Azafran has a fun and lively atmosphere on Thursday nights, when the singing bartender is in action. You might be tempted to overlook the quality of the food, but it was outstanding for us. We took them up on their steak night offer. Both of us had flat irons, and asked for medium rare. They nailed it! A nice salad and choice of sides, too. For $28 plus a $5 glass of red wine, it's a deal, too. (Summer 2025)

Thursdays are a great time to go. It is Steak Night and what a treat at a great price. Plus, John at the keyboard and Holly, while she bartends, entertain the guests.
