In the early 70s a famous Italian chef, starts his trip to Greece. During a cruise he arrives in Mykonos, he gets thrilled by the Greek islands and the Greek light and opens restaurants on the cosmopolitan island and in Psyri in Athens. Santorini, however, becomes his last stop, the final destination of a journey full of experiences and challenges.

This is a must try spot in Fira! The food is incredibly authentic - meaning authentic Italian, not American Italian! The staff were so fantastic, friendly, and helpful. I would not pass up an experience here even if it doesn't have a Caldera view!

If you are looking for a New York style pizza, this is it. The crust is thiicker and crisp on edge. The sauce is sweet ad spiced nicely. The buffalo cheese is exceptional with a thin rubery skin and creamy interior. Fresh basil sits ontop. This pizza is tasty and filling as all of our pizza here was good. Size is on the larger size for personal pizza. The owner greeted and spoke to us and we really enjoyed the conversation. Wish there was privacy wall to eliminate the view of the neighboring pool.

Very nice restaurant with great food and wine, friendly service in a good location. The only thing is that they push everything a bit too fast…before the starter is finished the next course arrives.

Food was good and was good value price wise (everything floats at low 20s euros), but I attempted to celebrate my birthday here and they did nothing for it. Wouldn’t go for a special occasion, just a regular dinner. Also, the old guy on the service staff won’t pay attention to you unless he thinks you’re spending big money. All the other staff, very nice and loved, but as he was my waiter it made it difficult.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cacio e Pepe, a charming restaurant located in the beautiful Santorini, Greece. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for a delightful culinary experience. The appetizers we ordered, bruschetta and garlic bread, were the perfect start to our meal. The bruschetta featured fresh tomatoes, fragrant basil, and a drizzle of olive oil, all atop a crispy baguette. The garlic bread was warm, buttery, and had just the right amount of garlic flavor. Moving on to the entrees, we indulged in the carbonara and a pizza. The carbonara was a true standout. The pasta was cooked al dente and tossed in a creamy sauce that was rich, yet not overpowering. The combination of pancetta, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper created a harmonious balance of flavors. The pizza was equally impressive, with a thin, crispy crust and a generous topping of quality ingredients. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the tiramisu. It was a heavenly creation with layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, velvety mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Each bite was pure bliss, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. What truly impressed me about Cacio e Pepe was the attention to detail in every dish. The food was cooked to perfection, with flavors that transported me to Italy. It was clear that the chefs took great pride in preparing authentic Italian cuisine. The servers at Cacio e Pepe were exceptional. Not only were they attentive and friendly, but they also shared insightful information about both Greek and Italian cuisine. Their passion for food was evident, and their recommendations enhanced our dining experience. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised when the restaurant served us complimentary limoncello shots at the end of our meal. It was a lovely gesture that added a touch of elegance to the evening. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Cacio e Pepe.

We loved the food and the staff. We sat on the patio, which had a great breeze. The interior of the restaurant is upscale, but the food and wine prices are more reasonable than some of the places in Santorini where you pay very high prices for a view of the volcano. The staff was very attentive. Would definitely go back.

The best pizza my wife and I have ever eaten. Period. The owner is a charmer as well. Full bar. As is the case in Santorini, nothing comes cheap, especially liquor.

We shared a big salad that was simple but very good. With the general quality of the salads in the island I would rate the salad a 4. We then each had one of the handmade specialty pastas. My wife had the salmon ravioli. The sauce, the ravioli cover, and the filling were all very good. 4.5 I had the Gorgonzola cheese with walnut cream sauce tortellini (they were called something else but were essentially large tortellini) The sauce was excellent as was the filling. However the pasta had points where due to being too thick where pinched it was under cooked and a bit chewy. Not al dente, but chewy. 3.0 We finished with a tiramisu for me 3.0 And a desert that’s coffee poured over ice cream for my wife 4.5
