I picked this place for my husband’s birthday. We were not disappointed in the least. It was a bit loud inside so we opted to sit outside. We started out with the focaccia bread and arancini. Both were delicious! I had the halibut and my husband had the steak. The steak was so tender and the halibut was nice and flaky. Both were absolutely delicious. We finished off with the butterscotch custard, which was amazing as well. My husband’s palette can be pretty hard to please, but he raved about the entire experience. We will certainly be back. Amazing dinner while watching the sun set.

This was our first visit, and it won't be the last. Great ambience. The food was excellent! Our server was very friendly, helpful and provided great suggestions. The interior is modern but with a warm comfortable vibe.

Server was clearly stressed and overextended and consequently, service was marginal. Halibut was overcooked. Asparagus was unrecognizably overcooked. For three of us, the bill was $173. Two of us had a small salad and we each had a primi plate. Two of us had a glass of wine. I am still trying to figure out how the bill came to $173. I believe we were overcharged for a very suboptimal experience.

We ate inside because of the heat. Were seated immediately. Great menu selections, had a hard time deciding what to order. We all had something different and it was all delicious! Drink selections too! Will definitely go back and try something new!

We met friends for dinner and started with a nice bottle of red wine and the Arancini appetizer. Progressed to entree of octopus, scallops, trout and bolognese. All were delicious and our server was attentive and friendly throughout…would highly recommend. My only disappointment is there was no bread offered to table, which as an Italian is a must with dinner and red wine.

Service good, if a little slow. Food excellent with some intriguing choices. But the noise level in the indoors portion of the restaurant is very high, not good for intimate dining. It's made even worse by thumping music. Why is it necessary to play loud music? We ate on the patio to get away from the noise, and although the music is also playing out there (again, why is is neede?), it was not as distracting. However, there were plenty of annoying flies to keep us company. Could be CACi outdoors would be best in the fall/spring when the fly population is lower or missing and CACi indoors better at any season if the music level is substantially reduced and noise-deadening materials are added to the decor.

Great meal here. Our service was excellent and our food was delicious. We went on a Sunday and it was buy one get one free cocktails all day. Everything we ordered was so flavorful. We will be coming back.

Ive eaten at Cali several times for lunch and never been disappointed. I've also just this week obtained a $100 give certificate for a family of two visiting who made a reservation for Tuesday 8/1 only to get there and the restaurant was closed. there was nothing on the gift card that indicated days closed for maintenance. Last night 8/3 was the first dinner at Caci. and invited a couple of long time friends who had never been there. I had a reservation, but when I got there (right on time) no table was available but only a high top. The Hostess was great...she sat us at the high top...but came over shortly and said a table has just come free (super hostess). Our waitress was also great...two of us ordered the spaghetti, it was hot and just ok. The third person in our group had a Caesar salad which was good. But the flies in the restaurant were so distracting, even with the little fans on the table... I hope my family members enjoy their outing this next week. I give you another try in the Fall,

Simple yet tasty menu with healthy options. Amazing classic and crafted cocktails. Very generous happy hour with but one get one free for n both types of cocktails. Atmosphere is comfortable. Would highly recommend.

I had Thursday evening reservations for four. We were seated quickly, near an open "garage" door, and although warm, the the sunscreen was pulled down, providing ample shade. Two Bourbons were selected (which were not on the bar menu) at a fair price. We selected meals of Gnocchi, Parma Pizza, Wild Boar Ragu, and Pork Belly. We shared bites and the food was excellent as always. We will be back again ... and soon.

Horrible experience! Service was great! Ordered 2 spaghetti & meatballs both did not finish! Blah! Scallops dish…. $36 for 3 small scallops & RAW Brussel sprouts & cauliflower !! Gross! Carrots were cooked but who cares @ that point! Also ordered short rib dish. It was alright but it doesn’t matter. Will Never be back nor will recommend! Not to mention it was a sauna inside the restaurant!

We were visiting from Denver and found CACi on Open Table. Great location, vibe was perfect for our party of 2. I had the Kale salad and my daughter had a pepperoni pizza. Our server was fantastic. We loved the Osprey nest in the parking lot too. Definitely recommend for a casual dinner!

We had reservations and arrived on time at 3:30 on a Friday (4 people). The hostess told us we could sit anywhere we wanted on the patio. There were no tables outside that were shaded and because it was a hot, sunny day, we sat at a comfy couch set with a low table between us in the shade. We were served water and given menus. As we were sitting there, someone was testing the misters which were right above us and did spray over us. At the same time, music was turned on in our area which was too loud for us to have a conversation. We saw that a shaded table had opened up, so we moved all of our table settings and water to that table. We apologized to the server for moving and explained why we were moving. At that point, we were basically ignored. Others who were being seated after we moved were receiving drink orders and ordering food. We asked the outside server for a wet towel to clean the table off and she did come over to clean the table. We kept looking at the outside server, who completely ignored us. Still, no service. After about 20 minutes, we finally approached a server inside the restaurant and explained the situation. He immediately sent a very nice gentleman to our table to take our orders and from that point on, our drinks and food were served in a very timely manner. Were we being “punished” for moving to a different table? It kind of felt that way. We have been to Cachi many times before since they opened and have always had great service and food. This experience really caught us off guard and was not what we had come to expect. Not sure we will be back.

We waited for our food for an hour and a half. When we asked our waitress she said "oh don't worry about it." We came in for a business lunch and half our table had to leave before our food arrived due to the extreme wait time. Usually they do not have this issue but they handled the delay very poorly.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. It’s actually shocking to me how a restaurant with so much potential can miss the mark on every level. We walked in excited by the vibes in this place because, let’s face it, Boise needs more restaurant options. As soon as we sat down, our excitement quickly faded. Our table had a horrible wobble that had us holding our drinks for dear life. I brought it up to our waitress and she did nothing. We waited 10 minutes before our waitress took our drink order. We ordered 2 drinks. 20 minutes later, our drinks came out and the waitress finally took our appetizer order and didn’t return to our table to check on us for another 10-15 minutes until she brought out our apps. We ordered our entrees and I ordered a glass of wine which never came so when the waitress brought our entrees out, I told her to drop the wine order. We sat their attempting to eat our food in disbelief but we were so hungry at that point that we just choked down what we could. My son’s pepperoni pizza was literally a pile of canned Sysco tomato sauce, cheap cheese and paper thin pepperoni sitting on top of what appeared to be undercooked flacid dough that prevented him from being able to hold a slice of pizza without folding it in half. My other son ordered the bolognese and the wide noodles where literally sitting in a swamp of pasta water with some meat thrown in. The noodles were all clumped together and mushy. Finally, we get to my osso buco and the disaster only got worse. The meat was plated around a bone with marrow in it that was a mixture of grey mush that tasted like dish soap. The meat was so over cooked and dry that whoever cooked it drenched it in a ton of canned tomato sauce. I should’ve known we were headed for a terrible experience when we first sat down and noticed the mural on the wall with distorted wannabe Italians and stencil lines showing through the paint. $140 poorer and I can still taste the soap in my mouth!

The appetizer was great. The cornish game hen was very tasty, along with the new potatoes and colored cauliflower. The brussel sprouts were challenging to eat, as they were not cooked long enough.

Love the wood scent as I enter the restaurant & the happy hour is great. I had the scallops & they were delicious. Only problem I would say is that it’s extremely noisy. There was a group there that was loud & made it for a difficult time to talk to each other.
