CACi Wood Fired Sicilian Grill
What a wonderful experience and such a delightful server! Our food was delicious and the dessert was scrumptious!
Food, drinks and service were fantastic. Great menu selection and the specialty drinks were creative. The wine selection could be improved.
Excellent food and service!
the meal and service was great! plan on many trips back to CACI, the noise level is a little to much for dinner conversations.
Always have a good experience at CACi, the swordfish was particularly good this time and the lemon dessert was great.
Once you get used to the loudness the atmosphere is okay.
One of their regular entrees was substituted with a less desirable fish choice. The salad had an option to add scallops ....at $5 each, which I thought was a ridiculous price, and the waitress forgot a simple request that prohibited an entree choice from being eaten. It was Friday nite at 5:45, so maybe they can’t handle the volume. Overall, the drinks and service were fair. Still deciding whether to give it another try.
Fun experience~Great food~ Will diffidently be back soon~ Eagle, Idaho
Love the food and atmosphere.
Fabulous food, atmosphere, and menu for all. They recently changed the menu and the options are wonderful. We had the charcuterie board for an app had a little bit of everything (fruit/cheese/meat). Our entrees included pizza, pasta, and pork - all were outstanding. And don't forget the best all day Sunday happy hour. Wine was only $5.00! Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch there. The Sunday specials were good value and the food delicious. Service was prompt and courteous. We are looking forward to returning and trying more things on the menu!
We’ve been to CACi a couple of times before and really liked it. So our expectations this time were high. But we were disappointed. We missed seeing risotto on the menu, and both have had that and loved it on previous occasions. This time I ordered the pork shank and my wife had the gnocchi. Both lacked the intensity of flavor that we were used to. Her gnocchi especially not only lacked flavor but seemed extraordinarily chewy. Honestly the microwave and serve gnocchi I buy at Trader Joe’s is much much better. Not in a hurry to go back, and I’m sorry to have to say that.
Anniversary dinner with the hubs. Great food! Great prices! My new fav!
Amazing night... great food, AMAZING service, nice atmosphere.
Very nice and reasonably priced
The pizza was dry and burnt with minimal ingredients way overpriced.
We liked the food, wine and atmosphere. We will return and try other dishes.
Lots of flies and the food was overpriced. The waitress was great however.
For a similar price to places like Brick29, I would say the value is not as good. I'm always willing to give a place a couple of tries.
Extremely noisy inside.
Nice building and decor. Open to outdoors allowed lots of flies to circulate throughout the restaurant making dinner unenjoyable. We had 5-10 flies join us for dinner.
I’m not sure what can be done but something must be figured out.
Swordfish was good although leeks were too charred. Noise level off the charts. Couldn't hear conversations with friends. And in addition they had music blaring to add to the chaos. Temperature way too hot. Big doors to patio (one whole side of the restaurant) were open with the A/C on. Stupid waste of energy. The flies were really disgusting. We complained. They wiped down the table with lavender water as we were eating. The smell changes the taste of the food. And it didn't help. It seems the owners have heard these complaints before. I will not go back or recommend. Too bad as the food is good but not worth that kind of environment.
Great patio atmosphere and the food was high quality and tasty!
The new clam appetizer was spot on delicious!! We shared the ravioli and steak salad!! Perfectly cooked meat! Who knew that figs would be so perfect with pork stuffed ravioli!! We sat outside and with the shades and fans it was a nice evening.
The food just didn’t Wow us. Meatballs ordered medium well were med rare inside. Sea bass and short ribs good but not fab.
Fresh pasta, modern menu, cool atmosphere.
Yummy but noisy. Sit outside if you want to converse with your dinner companions.
Food so good, you’ll dream about after. Outstanding service, a little loud since it was a night they were hosting a wine tasting, but definitely not a deal breaker.
There was only one server for the whole restaurant and when we could get her time she was great! Unfortunately, because they were short staffed, it took forever to get drinks and food and when the food came it was mediocre. The centerpiece of the restaurant are the wood fired pizzas and they are average at best. The last time I went in the pizza had a charred / chemical taste and this time it was just burnt on the bottom and doughy on top. If pizza is your centerpiece it needs to be much better. Overall very disappointing as the quality of the food and service have gotten worse every time we have gone. If only they would reopen Rembrandts for dinner. I miss my brick chicken!
Amazing flavors and homemade pasta. The smell of the wood fire and Italian wine was fantastic.
Went to Caci for a birthday dinner and was extremely happy. The food was fantastic just like our server! With the food tasting so fresh it was amazing how fast we were served. We will be going back for sure.
Wonderful food but atmosphere was very uncomfortable. Extremely noisy! We were a party of 2 and had to lean in and yell to hear each other. Decor is nice but looks like every other restaurant in town. Nothing unique.
Awesome food, drink and service. We will go again!
Caci is the best wood fired grill in town go see for your self!
And then loud music on top of the voice level!
Fun place to meet friends and enjoy some good wine (also beer and mixed drinks) and food. Interesting menu. Lots of Sicilian food items that were new to my group.
This spot was very hipster and new age.
The food was a bit overpriced for what you were served.
The server was nice, but seemed pretty casual.
The food is fresh and full of flavor. Service is very friendly.
One thing though. It is so LOUD! Why can’t they put a frickin ceiling in there? You have all the quality of the food and service but a person can’t go in there and have a nice dinner with their spouse. People were literally yelling their conversation in all the tables around us. If you want to make an experience of dining here which would be very very worth it, get some sound deadening. If you can get the coveted tables outside then you are golden, all you have to deal with there is the low rumble of state street.
The octopus and scallops were phenomenal! Service was excellent!!
Services and the entire staff always go above and beyond. The menu is wonderful and food quality is always the freshest. Wonderful wine!
