    Impressed by the views and most of the service. The food was good but very light for the prices. Ruining our experience was the couple vaping right next to us. That nasty artificial, acrid smell that nature never intended does not make for anything close to a pleasant dining experience. Why?!

    Booked this outdoor, rooftop restaurant for a business/social dinner. Food and service were great and the view was incredible. All seating is out door but they had heat lamps and the glass railing keeps a lot of the breeze out in the evening. Great option in DTLA.

    The pork shank is fantastic to share and beautifully accompanied by the 2 salads. All the ceviches are delicious. The salmon skewer was flavorful and so moist. The pita bread is perfectly toasted but try not to eat too much of it cuz it's addicting but you'll stuff yourself too quickly. My friend's favorite was the steak dish. The sauce was amazing and she wanted to dip all the bread in it to soak it up. The drinks are awesome and the vibe is perfect along with the rooftop view. We even got to see a rainbow!

    recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cabra LA, and it was a delightful experience. The warm ambiance on the patio set the perfect tone for the afternoon. It gave outdoor island vibes . I opted for the chicken skewers, topped with a unique and delicious peanut garnish, which added an interesting twist to the dish. However, the true star of the night was the Pisco Fever drink, a frozen mango-flavored concoction that was incredibly refreshing and undeniably my favorite part of the visit. La Cabra LA has certainly left a positive impression on me. Our waiter was great, I forgot his name, a taller slender gentlemen, he was delightful. He even took photos of my date and I before we left.

    The Great service. Lovely atmosphere. The half outdoor space is just so perfect for LA weather. Food is amazing as well, if you have room order the pork shank. That was so good. We also had ceviche, empanadas and several other small dishes. Price is so reasonable as well. It’s worth every penny we spent. Thanks Mike for great service.

    Each staff member was kind and attentive. The rooftop was so cute and had a beautiful view. The bar side is all outside so be aware of that. We sat in the enclosed dining area. It’s dimly lit at night; kept the weather out. Such pretty decor. Everything we ate was delicious; not one thing was just ok. The drinks were also great. We were celebrating birthdays and they gave us a free dessert. Will definitely come again!

    Vibrant food and spectacular view. I've only had the small plates over several visits, but never disappointed. Particular stars: swiss chard empanadas with an herbacious dipping sauce; roasted beet and quinoa salad that has all the flavors. The service is competent if a bit offhand. Once a waiter forgot my drink (but then comped it); another time we had to prompt because the food came way before the drinks. My only complaint in an otherwise excellent experience.

    Where do I begin… A friend and I decided to try Cabra to celebrate my birthday. I made reservations through the Open Table app, and plenty of tables were available. Once at the restaurant, we approached the hostess, who seemed overwhelmed and uninviting. She didn’t welcome us at all. Mind you, the place wasn’t busy yet. Our table wasn’t quite ready, so she suggested the bar to have a drink while we waited. The bartender was fantastic and had great energy. He was excited to prepare our drinks, and we loved the vibe. Out of nowhere, the hostess runs over to insist we be seated right away. We were excited about drinks since they would’ve only taken a minute longer to be served. She assured us our drinks would be taken to our table. Forty minutes later,…no drinks appetizers with water, and I ask the server and the hostess again for our drinks. She informed me she was aware, but they were swamped, and the drinks will come soon. Twenty minutes later, we finally got our drinks, which were not the same drinks prepared for us. Did I mention the seating was wet?? My friend's back was soaked. It was an unfortunate experience, and we were left super disappointed. I can’t even remember what the food tasted like because of the bad energy the hostess created. I can’t say if I’ll be back.

    The food was really good. Small bites, shareable and amazing flavors. The only negative was the location. It was a roof too but the space was pretty tight with a pool taking up most of the space and the tables were really close.

    I really wanted to like it, rooftops don't usually disappoint, but it just fell short. The menu is super limited on actual dinner plates, there's only 3. The rest are small ceviche plates or 2 skewers. They said it's family style portions, that is not family style. Super tiny portions. Even the empanadas were tiny, mostly bread. The salmon and tuna and tots ceviche's were excellent, but I would need 2 and something else to be full and that would be $80 just for myself plus my drinks... I'm like yeah no, a sushi roll and sashimi to share would fill me up the same at half the price. I know you pay for ambiance, but I've been to plenty of rooftops in LA and the price is worth what you get, I just really feel it's too expensive for what you get. I'd rather go to Takami. And again only 3 main dishes was a downer. To top it off the drinks were subpar. If those were good I'd at least give 4 starts, but they fell short. Execution was lacking to me. The ingredients sounded great and then when you try them, meh. Out of the 4 I tried I didn't care to have any again... these days you have to have a solid bar tender for $18 a drink.

    Best melon salad I’ve ever had, and I pretty much order one wherever it’s offered. Other plates were excellent as well but that melon salad was really memorable. Nice rooftop atmosphere, servers and host were very nice.

    I haven't been to Cabra in about a year and I feel like some things have changed. We had to wait 30 mins for our table and I had to eventually go and ask when we would get seated, even though there were multiple tables available the entire time. (We did arrive earlier than our reservation) They also switched host and I don't think the male host told the female host that we had arrived and were waiting by the bar even though we were marked as "arrived" this is easy to oversee if you don't know. Cocktails are absolutely amazing, ++ for some natural wines on their wine list, but I feel like the food and quality of the food has been downgraded substantially. Even though we were not super happy about the food they handled the situation with the utmost grace and the service from both the server and manager who absolutely above and beyond was amazing, which is why I will still leave a 5-star review! We will never ask to send anything back or not eat anything and they noticed and took care of us. Come here for cocktails, maybe some snacks, and enjoy the views!

    Ambience was beautiful but the food and service by the main servers (people bringing the food/providing etc services were kind) were disappointingly mediocre. Food was also somewhat disappointing as some of the seafood being served seemed not fresh and mediocre quality. Overall, the experience was disappointing considering the reputation of the main chef of the restaurant.

    It’s good, but not great. Probably better for two where we had six. We ordered doubles of plates but still really had to divvy up into small bites to accommodate everyone. There’s better dining options within this price range but it is a lovely open air vibe. My friend described it as a white person’s take on Peruvian food and that tracks.

    Our group of six tried as many items as we could. Everything was excellent, from the craft cocktails to the desserts. A separate vegan menu was available, too. Everyone will be satisfied.

    The views are nice but the food was honestly just ok. Small portions that are supposed to be meant for sharing.
