Cabra Cevicheria is a Peruvian-inspired restaurant by Chef Stephanie Izard, located on the top floor of the Hoxton Hotel, Chicago. Open for Dinner seven nights a week with brunch being served Saturdays and Sundays, the lively dining experience is anchored on shareable plates bold in flavor and bright in taste.

All of the food was delicious. We loved everything we got. Our favorites were the steak saltado and goat empanadas. We also had great drinks and recommend the Lima Dreamin. We had 5 dishes between the 2 of us and that seemed about right. They brought them out staggered which was nice so you could enjoy one or two at a time. Our waitress was very fun and had great recommendations. She added to the experience. The ambience was great and the heaters allowed us to eat outside! The bill was pretty steep but we knew it was going to be pricey ahead of time so we weren’t surprised. Worth it for a fun delicious experience.

Service was very slow and had trouble tracking our waitress down. Cocktails were average and the food was just ok for the price. It was $180 for 4 cocktails, goat empanadas and 3 different vegetable entrees. Don’t think I would return.
The whole experience was amazing. As usual. Both anticucho dishes are a fav. Service is great. Atmosphere is just beautiful. We love this place. Never a bad experience!
The rooftop deck is perfect for COVID dining, the service was fabulous, and every single dish we ordered was amazing! The tuna and quinoa salad, tuna tiradito, chicken thighs, salterito salad, and queso dip with chorizo were all favorites!
We loved this place. The open roof, view, style/design, food, drinks and service were all impeccable. From the greeter at the entrance to the Hoxton to the server’s spot on suggestions, the staff was amazing. It’s a Stephanie Izard restaurant, how could anything be bad? So glad we finally got to enjoy this West Loop spot. We will be back!
Overrated food, very bad service
Amazing food. Waitress was super helpful with narrowing down all the options. Service was perfect. Food course pacing was spot on. Views were spectacular. Only complaint was the bathroom I used was pretty messy.
Loved this place! Food was amazing. We ate only vegetarian and seafood and there was still so much to choose from. The tres leches was delicious. Staff was friendly and professional and outdoor seating was warm with a fantastic view.
Loved the outdoor dining experience with heaters, distanced tables, and the continued quality in food and drinks.

We went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and it was a lovely experience. Our server was so sweet and wished him a happy birthday and surprised us with delicious cake at the end. Plus Stephanie Izard was cooking in the kitchen which made the day so special!
Delicious food. Cool ambiance. The pork shank is huge but worth it, share it with more than 2 people.
Left a bit disappointed. Portion sizes were extremely small for the price. Food wasn't very filling for a dinner. Sat at table which was very low to the ground, uncomfortable.

Stephanie’s food never disappoints! Beautiful space and looking forward to coming back to enjoy the patio seating. Only slight miss was the check-in process in the lobby, which was a little chaotic.
Cabra is one of my favorite rooftops in the city. With authentic Peruvian flavors, it's a must try. Definitely try the various ceviches, the tuna and salmon ceviches, goat empanadas and steak salteado are worth the wait.

Best part of dinner was served, Akube (spelling?). She was awesome. Great energy, very intuitive and sweet.
Cabra was an amazing restaurant! Everyone here was extremely friendly and the food was outstanding. The views are awesome and overlook a cool part of Chicago. If you’ve ever been to Peru, you will see that menu is a unique take on traditional Peruvian food and everything I got, I loved! 10/10 would recommend this place.

Delicious food that had a little bit of a different twist than other places, but still recognizable and delicious. Some dishes were a little small for the price but overall reasonable. Def get a cocktail!

It rained earlier that day, and the outdoor table my party was shown to had a wet chair. I ended up sitting on a very wet outdoor sofa without realizing it. When I asked for another table, we were seated on the other side of the restaurant, at a much smaller table that wobbled. All the food could barely fit on the table. The food is always great, the staff is courteous, but service that day was not the best.

Lovely space. Our cocktails were great - elderberry and the smoky mescal drink with froth. A couple of the dishes were fantastic - the avacado dip and vegetable dish with green beans, corn and fried cheese. The others were good also. We had a variety of servers, never really sure who was taking care of us. Everything was very good, just not 5 stars. Next time we go back, it will be for drinks and an appetizer.

We had the most amazing meal at Cabra. The food was outstanding-each course better than the previous one. The rooftop was beautiful and comfortable even with the fall weather. I would highly recommend.
