I think this place has great potential but it's missing the mark. It is beautiful inside, and the staff were friendly, a bit slow but very nice. The food and drinks came promptly but when clearing the dishes away took far too long and it took a while to get the bill. The real let down though was the food, we had the taquitos which were made with quite thick flour wraps rather than corn tortillas and were not crispy at all, and filling quite bland considering how mexican food should taste. They had scattered pre-packaged grated cheddar cheese on top rather than cojita or something at least a little fresher. My husband had the calamari which he enjoyed but other than that it was disappointing. The guacamole was also bland and looked like it was a supermarket buy. Cocktails were great but expensive which is to be expected in Edinburgh. If they can sort out the food quality and authenticity then this place would be excellent!

Had a lovely meal out with one of my best mates. Food was lovely, service was excellent and the drinks and cocktails were fab! My only gripe was that I sat for about 10 mins on my main, whilst my mate was eating his. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place and great staff. Only issue was that our booking was early I. The evening but already there were a number of items not available in the menu. Would still go back though.

Great food. Very attentive service, food delivered really quickly so you can graze and order more if needed, portions are great for sharing lots of plates, cocktails fantastic

Food was too salty. Mains were served 10 mins apart so mine was cold, so we had to have re-heated. Presentation of the black beans and avocado with tortilla chips was uninventive but the burrito looked inviting and tasted okay.

The venue is lovely and in a great location. The staff are really friendly and efficient. The food was overpriced for what it was. We had a variety of sopes, tacos and taquitos but it lacked flavour, freshness and spice. The guac and salsa with chips was tinny. The cocktails were good.
