It was good, but I think it could have been some better. The house salad was great with the huckleberry vinaigrette! Over all 4 stars and I would return.

I live part time in Big Sky, and we had a special occasion. It is during shoulder season and some of the dining options were limited. We looked at menus and chose the Cabin bar and grill. The ambiance was just what we needed, and the food was superb. I definitely will be back.

Food was excellent. We really enjoyed the salad and the entrees. My husband had the Elk and I had fish. Both were well prepared and delicious. It is Big Sky, so we thought the prices were high, but again, it's Big Sky, so that's to be expected I guess. The atmosphere could be better, but the food more than makes up for it. Next time, I would not do a started (salad) as the entrees were large portions and I ended up taking half my entree home.

We wish we’d discovered The Cabin earlier in our stay at Big Sky! The twin tenderloins and walleye were SO good, it would have been hard to order something else on a repeat visit, but we would have! Amazing salads and delicious homemade cheesecake for dessert. Do not miss this culinary delight!

Visiting from Chicago, IL and was leery when we first arrived there, Cabin Bar & Grill in located on the 2nd flr next to a bar. But once inside the restaurant forgot all about that bar. Décor was exactly what you would expect for their menu. Our server Ma'te' {Matthew in Hungarian} took our whole experience to another level. The ambiance was great, food was delicious so full of flavor, but our server was the cherry on top. He was pleasant, funny, knowledgeable, and a hoot. We had bison, elk, rainbow trout, walleye, appetizers, cabin salad and an array of their desserts. Ma'te' suggested a Cab to go with my elk and it was right on point I got the whole bottle. If ever in Big Sky I would definitely recommend a dinner at Cabin Bar and Grill.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Cabin immensely! The ambience is casual, but refined! The service was excellent! My husband and I split a garden salad which was delicious ! We both ordered the walleye which was very well prepared and also delicious! The portions are large and we probably could have split the entree! I think it was the best dinner we had at the Big Sky Resort!

Went there for my wife’s 50th birthday and was disappointed…. The steaks were thin and overcooked. The service wasn’t great either. No recognition from the waiter after mentioning a few times we were there to celebrate my wife’s big day.
