Whether it's ultra small-batch beers or full-production, year-round brews, we approach every batch the same—with the highest standards and the ultimate attention to detail. • Boll Weevil Brown

  OG = 12.5°p, IBU = 20, SRM = 33, ABV = 5.0%. A classic English brown ale. Medium bodied and moderate with caramel sweetness. Low hop additions allow the caramel and roasted malts to dominate this old style beer.

• Cabarrus Cotton Blonde Ale

  OG = 11.0°p, IBU = 15, SRM = 2, ABV = 4.7%. American style cream ale. Light bodied and crisp golden and refreshing, this is our lightest beer and is the ale version of an American pilsner using classic noble hops. Cotton was one of the most important commodities in North Carolina for over a century. The textile industry it spawned was the principal economic driver behind our brewery's location of Gibson Mill, part of the famed Cannon Mills. The economics, culture, and even the calendar of the entire region were driven by the engine of the looms. We are thrilled to be able to honor that legacy of hard work and enterprise with Cabarrus Cotton Blonde Ale.

• Mule Spinner Stout

  OG = 13.0°p, IBU = 22, SRM = 40, ABV = 5.0%. A full bodied, oatmeal stout. Roasted caramel and chocolate malts are used to give this beer its rich flavor. Oatmeal provides a creamy, sweet body and complexity. The spinning mule was invented in 1825, replacing the older cotton jenny and offering a significant improvement in the production of cotton textiles on a commercial scale. A mule spinner was the person who operated the equipment in the textile mills of Cabarrus County. One such facility was Gibson Mill, which employed hundreds of people in this critical action of spinning yarn. We are pleased to use the actual thread spindles from the spinning mules of Gibson Mill as our tap handles and excited our Mule Spinner Stout honors the hard working men and women who operated them.

• Red Hill Amber Ale

  OG = 12.0°p, IBU = 33, SRM = 24, ABV = 5.0%. A medium bodied red ale. Malty sweetness and caramel flavors supported by medium hop bitterness round out this balanced ale. Shortly after George Washington was elected the first President of the United States, he embarked on an extended tour of the new nation. On May 29th, 1791 he visited Cabarrus County. He spent that night in the Red Hill Tavern off of Poplar Tent road, which was owned by Martin Pheifer, a good friend of Washington who served with him at Valley Forge. While the tavern burned many years ago, the roadside historical marker on the corner of Poplar Tent and Hwy 29 is confirmation that our first president slept just a short distance from Cabarrus Brewing Company – Red Hill Amber celebrates this important moment in our area's history.

• Rocky River India Pale Ale

  OG=15.0°p, IBU = 76, SRM = 16, ABV = 6.3%. Medium bodied, copper colored ale. Sweet maltiness provides the backbone for aggressive additions of American hops. This allows the citrus, floral and piney flavors for which this style is known to shine through. In 1732, according to established Cabarrus County tradition, a young Scots-Irishman named John Rodgers followed the old Warrior's' Path from Pennsylvania into the fertile lands of North Carolina. He then began building his cabin near Rocky River, the largest waterway in what would eventually become Cabarrus County. From these humble beginnings, the population of the area grew quickly. Throughout the county's long history, the Rocky River has continued to play an important role, lending its name to many important icons – now including our Rocky River IPA.

• Sew Juicy Hazy IPA

  IBU = 33, ABV = 7.2%. A hazy, unfiltered New England style IPA brewed with pale ale malt, wheat, and flaked oats. It has late additions of Citra and Amarillo hops and is aggressively dry hopped. The wheat and flaked oats give this beer a soft, silky mouthfeel and the hops create flavors and aromas of tropical citrus fruits.

• Vanilla Coffee Blonde VCB

  OG = 12.5°p, IBU = 15, ABV = 4.7%. American style cream ale with S&D Coffee French Roast coffee beans and vanilla. Light bodied and crisp golden and refreshing, this is one of our lightest beers and is an ale version of an American pilsner using classic noble hops.
