We had a great time at Cabana. The food was delicious, staff all really nice and music was wonderful.
Horrible wait over an hour for our meal. When we got up to leave they finally came with our food and it was cold. There’s also a huge communication issue within the staff and it left for a very bad impression & experience overall.
Food sucked. Drinks were okay. Service very slow.
Good was great snd music good. The bill came and they charged us $3 more fir each entree!! When pointed out, the waitress said it was because they hit a new menu. BS. I told her to charge the price on their menus she gave us. She sent the manager out who said he took 40% off the entree, but the $10 he took off still was not adequate fir the $6 overcharge. Ruined what should have been a great evening. Will never go back.
Food and atmosphere was great. Service was poor. Waited at least 20 minutes before anyone came to table. Waited for drink refills too.
Service was horrible. Food was decent. We liked the beef pasty, shrimp and steak. Too many tables were seated for the few servers we saw. I felt bad for them being so overworked. Go across the street to E3, we had a much better time there!
Great place to listen to music, or sit outside and chat. They changed the menu a bit but everything we had was very good.
They served me a glass of wine with a bug in it. Took over an hour to get our food it was cold when we finally got it. Hostess was clueless and had no clue what she was doing.
The food and vibes of the restaurant were amazing. They were very accomodating, and we were seated in a beautiful cabana near the front of the restaurant. The only negative that I have is that the food did take about 2 hours from being seated to come out, just because they were super busy.
Love the new menu!
We made reservations and took an Uber to get here. We were looking for good food away from the touristy crowds. We were seated and never acknowledged by anyone for more than 20 minutes, in spite of servers walking past us repeatedly. I finally asked the hostess if we had a server. She sent someone over a few minutes later who took our drink order (he’d never heard of the drinks on their menu) and then he never returned. We sat nearly 40 minutes total and never even got a drink. They appeared to be well staffed and not terribly busy. Super frustrating but we left and spent another $30 to Uber elsewhere.
I decided to take my girlfriend out for date night. There was no host to seat us for our reservation. I had to ask the sound guy and guest bartender for assistance. Once we were seated by the hostess who claimed to be the assistant GM, we were astonished. Because, he was the guy we passed out front on the way in socializing and drinking. The hostess and so called assistant gm was very nasty when we inquired about service from the booth. His attitude and service was everything but white glove and hospitable. Definitely not what i am accustomed to when frequenting at Cabana. However management has changed since December so that could be it as well. Do better Cabana!
Went to our reservation Saturday morning at 11 to find the restaurant closed. Lights off, doors locked - tried calling multiple times with no answer. Pretty frustrating, especially since we had out of town guests and everywhere else was packed by that time.
I went to Cabana Taps this afternoon for brunch for the first time. The food was amazing. I was informed that they just hired a new kitchen staff, and have completely redone the menu. They've really done a great job with all of the changes that they have made. I had the pork pinchos and they were absolutely to die for. My wife had the 3 egg omelet, she said it was fantastic. We can't wait to come back and try more. The service was incredible. David and Kaili were so friendly!
Very impressed with dinner. Smoked wings were amazing. Excellent service. Loved being able to eat dinner and to go listen to quality live music. A++++++
I had amazing wings Nashville Hot and they tasted just like the official ones. Loved the amazing live music and private seating
First time in Nashville. It was great to do something different and go to a restaurant away from Broadway, but still have great live music of all genres! Service was good. Food was over priced but tasted good and the cocktails were amazing! It was fun to have our group of 7 in a private “cabana” near the stage-that was the best part since it’s so hard to find a place that takes reservations here.
Our service and food sucked. Never again! The menu is not descriptive at all.
Service is very sub-par. Over valued menu price for the subpar ambiance and service. Would not recommend. Too pretentious for what it is.
We were seated at our reservation time. We waited 25 minutes to place a drink order and no one ever came. We were given glasses of water and one had a fly floating in it.
Very nice atmosphere and menu. We had a very nice time with great service. Ana is a great waitress!
Terrible service averted food at best and that’s being nice. Had a confirmed reservation and when I checked in they said there was nothing available. Waitress was clueless…. I’ll never go back.
Thank you for your unfeigned review. We listen to all fans and detractors with equal weight. Our menu will be changing soon and we want to always wow our family with the best experience! I hope we won't let you down in the future.
I made a reservation and they had a music event going on. They did not let me know that we would be seated with the event at a communal table.
Love the atmosphere and loved the service.
We went for a bachelorette to have dinner. Food not so good. The ambiance was great. We stayed longer to watch live music.
Food was great and the cabanas were awesome, offering Bluetooth speakers for your personal playlists! Our server was great but she was super busy (a common plight of 2021). Very specific, but our only disappointment was with the quantity of tortilla chips for the multiple dips we ordered. When requesting more we were informed there would be a charge (which was nice to know) but $3 for 15 chips is a bit wild. Also be aware for larger parties they add a 25% tip, instead of the standard 18%. Overall everyone was very nice and it was a great experience!
3x price of Chili’s. 1/2 as good. Similar menu
That bad. Food and drinks were nothing like shown on website
Impeccable service and great music!!
Disgrace to Nashville. Not what it use to be. They didn’t have half the items on the very select menu. The live music was so somber it was depressing and it was very loud. The place felt neglected and barely hanging on.
Waited 20 minutes for service and that was after informing the hostess twice that our table was not being served. Bartender that served our table brought our margaritas without straws and once the grilled salmon arrived (45 minutes) it was charcoal at the bottom - not good. In all, not a great experience. Good help is hard to find right now in this economy and it shows throughout the service industry.
Terrible food, lackluster service.
Overall it was a decent experience and I would probably go back. Most of the table’s food was delicious but we were there for a total of 2 hours due to poor service. They were not busy, but kitchen times were still incredibly high..could have been under staffed, so keeping a positive attitude it
was no big deal. Our server was pretty unprofessional, he said some questionable things a few different times. For example, we had a party of 8 and when he brought our checks one of our guests read their total our loud and our server said “yeah bro this isn’t a chili’s”. Just a little rude. But if you’re a foodie, try the fried chicken or shrimp and grits.
Apparently Cabana is under new management, and they just aren’t cutting it. Some things on the menu appear to be the same but aren’t. The flavors I loved pre-pandemic just weren’t there. I gave the food 2/5. (Pre-pandemic, it was always 5/5.) They were also hosting a live music event that was incredibly loud and was not mentioned at booking. I live in Music City, so live music is everywhere. But when you’re booking a table to catch up with friends, you want to factor that in, and we just weren’t given that opportunity ahead of time. The host seemed bothered constantly, like she hated her job and had something else she would rather have been doing. I’m not a prude and I get the “cabana” theme, but she was wearing what appeared to be bicycle or workout shorts, and that just isn’t what you expect the face of your restaurant to be wearing. The server was friendly and polite.
Bottom line… I used to love Cabana, but I won’t be going back.
I use to love going to Cabana but it has changed. Maybe due to the pandemic but our food was not very good. It was a Monday night so maybe that had something to do with it. If it is a slow night and you can't offer your very best, close on that night. I hope they will figure out how to survive in this town that offers some fabulous restaurants.
We sat there for 2 hours and never received our food. We ended up leaving
First time at this restaurant. We had a reservation for 6 ppl. An hour after ordering our food the waitress told us our meals will be late, and that we “will not be next up or next up after that…” but later. And that they had larger parties. But worse than that the quality of the food and drinks were terrible. We complained to manager and server and they offered to comp a round of drinks which we all turned down due to the fact none of us finished our first round because the drinks were so bad.
When we eventually received our food it looked and tasted as if it we’re sitting under a warmer for hours. Then we were still charged for entire bill . Will never return.
- Food was good
- Server did a good job
- It took over an 1.5 to get our meal and about 45 minutes to just get our appetizer.
- Our server told us the kitchen was just very backed up which is totally understandable but over an hour and a half is unacceptable even for a Saturday night in Nashville.
It was bad. I had a salad, and Im almost sure it was from Kroger, just cut from a bag. The steak was most clearly old and reheated.
It’s changed the music in back was so loud. Asked hostess to move us which she did. The bar server wasn’t very friendly but the food was good.
Staff and ambiance was great, and after dinner we went towards the back and stayed for the live music. We had a great time!
