Atmosphere was great but food not mind blowing.
I went to Cabana to celebrate my 21st birthday with 10 of my friends. It was an absolute blast. Such a fun space for all types of people! I will definitely be back for me 22nd birthday next year.
I got the beet salad with tabasco sauce. It was so hot I couldn't eat it. My companion liked his Shepherd's Pie.
We’ve visited Cabana probably more than any restaurant in town for date nights. Tonight was a sub par experience. The food wasn’t hot and not great, and the server was on the slow side
Such an enjoyable outdoor dinner. Service was great, food was very satisfying and environment truly knocked it out of the park.
Food and service was so great.
Cabana is a fun place with a younger upscale crowd. We are seniors but were treated well and had great imaginative food. The steak and pasta were very good. There is a large wine cellar and the service is excellent.
Went for a date night with my girlfriend, we made reservations for a high top and upon arrival were told all high tops were full and we were sat outside. Outside was very loud and very hard to hold a conversation. Once we ordered we both thought the food was over priced for the quality of the food overall it was an okay experience.
I ate here years ago and it was delicious but when my mom flew into town Friday and went it was so lackluster. Great service, but the food was not on par with my memories. My mom’s Shepard’s pie was served cold and my pork chop was bland. The best part was the apps and cocktails. Also a great ambiance.
Came to Cabana from out of town for a special occasion with 10 people. We were slightly squeezed into a "cabana," which was a bit underwhelming--basically a banquet-type seating table with a curtain around it. But was still fun. One member of our party was very happy to have the tv over the table to watch an important football game. Food was pretty good but not great--and they were out of several items on the menu by our 8:00 reservation. Service was good and attentive.
Our food got to us in less than 10 minutes, before we even received our cocktails. Our mashed potatoes were awful- super runny and nothing like usual (we come at least once a month). When we complained we were told you’re right, but it’s going to take 2 hours to make more mashed potatoes so you have to pick a different side. When the bill came it was full price. Really? Very disappointing to longtime customers.
The food took a long time and was not very good.
We visited Cabana during a recent vacation and I think everyone agreed this was the best restaurant we visited in Nashville! Some of the best apps and specialty drinks I’ve ever had!
I have now been here two times and will come back every trip I make to Nashville! Food is lick-your-plate worthy with great drinks and service!
Birthday party! Great place for an intimate setting.
Hello, I was here this past Saturday 08/25/18. The system was down that night after we had reservations. Instead of someone letting us know when we arrived, we were seated. We waited about thirty minutes before someone told us about the system. Hence, it being too late to make reservations for somewhere else. They were VERY unapologetic and instead treated us as if we were a burden. I just recommend the customer service becoming better as the menu looked divine and it was our first time being there.
Two girls in our group of five ordered the same dish, but their dishes looked and tasted drastically different. One dish was very watery while the other wasn't. One also had cheese, and the other lacked cheese. The lobster Mac and cheese was not notable and was very small in comparison to their other appetizers. The Nashville "hot" chicken was less hot than a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. The ambiance of the space is very nice, and the service was good, but the food was lacking.
Out of Banana pudding (: which is the best dish on the menu
While it is a great place for gathering with friends or parties before a night out on the town, this place has an unique charm that is casual and festive. Private cabanas are a great idea for private parties but things seem to end there. The shrimp and grits which was the overall popular choice for the table of 7 was not very good. Watered down grits not much flavor and three (we counted in every order) medium shrimp in the entree(~$22.00). Left everyone scratching their heads and hungry to the point where we had to stop for food on the way home. However I personally had the pork chop which was a double cut, that was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, substantial, and determined by the table as the entree winner. That entree was plenty of food even after sharing with some of the table. The appetizers we ok but nothing to get excited about. Needless were disappointed after going, we just had a different idea of what the restaurant was going to be. If you need to seat a large party and are going for drinks and not concerned about menus but do want privacy for your party at an actual restaurant, it was unlike any. Other place in Nashville. If you are seeking awesome cuisine for your dinner party out, I’d pass on this. I think it has its niche but just did not suit he bill for us.
Got the pork chop dinner. Chop was good but BBQ sauce was all over everything else on plate (applesauce and Mac and cheese) and made rest not taste good. Atmosphere was nice.
Excellent Nashville comfort food place. Great choice if your headed to the Belcourt Theatre. Staff are friendly and competent. Great large booths that fit six.
Great menu, awesome atmosphere for a group dinner, wonderful drinks. Service was excellent as well.
Went to Cabana with a group of 20 people for an engagement celebration for my friends. Our server, Chelsea, took amazing care of us and really made the couple of honor feel special. The table was decorated beautifully when we arrived and all the guests were blown away. As always, the food was delicious ( I had the new short rib with crab polenta ). I would definitely recommend cabana for any celebration for wonderful food, atompshere, and service!
The food was top notch, service was amazing. They really made us feel like special guests. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! The atmosphere was crazy cool and certainly unique. The bartender was quick with the drinks and funny, and the house made drinks are a do not miss. Grab an Uber or Lyft and forget about parking issues.
Wonderful food and attentive staff. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Food was very good and a good value but the drinks on the happy hour were weak and my Tangeria & tonics just tasted bad.
Loved the friendly service and the sweet potato biscuits!
I had put off coming to this restaurant because I thought parking was going to be an issue! I called Cabana on my way in and the receptionist immediately told me where I could find a space and parking was no problem. The street parking spaces actually clear out around 6pm.
The Crab Hush Puppies and Angel Hair Caprese were fantastic. Tim, our server, took great care of us. Can't believe I waited so long to try this place! Will definitely be coming back.
We went to Cabana for my husband's graduation. We were blown away by the care and attention the manager, Kate, gave to us. She made sure that everything went perfectly for us. We sat in a Cabana which was so cool, because it was private and we could play our own music.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere is extremely fun. We are SO glad we chose to celebrate at Cabana and are already planning to go back!!
We had a big group of people, the staff was so amazing and put us in a cabana. The food was so delicious we all finished our plate, and the drinks were just as good to go along with it.
I've been trying to get into Cabana; had a chance to go. We had a great time- food was great, energetic atmosphere-
They were great. Especially since I accidentally booked a party of 12 on the wrong day and they were able to get us in for the right day. The service was great. We had are drinks and food quickly. The food was great. The table had a wide variety of items off the menu and everyone complimented on how good the food was. I would defiantly come back when in the area.
I ordered the fish. The pole beans were so-so- too soft. The tomato jam that’s on top of the fish doesn’t work. It’s too heavy and chunky and it’s chilled (while fish is warm) and too large of a portion of the jam on top of the fish. In my opinion it overpowered and took away from the delicious fish. Love Cabana and the food - this one dish needs some tweaking in my opinion
I mentioned in the online reservation form -- twice -- that we were celebrating my wife's birthday, and neither the hostess nor waitress mentioned it. The waitress just seemed that she wanted us to eat and leave as quickly as possible, and the place wasn't even crowded.
On the positive side, I had the chicken and waffles, and the waffles were inedible they were so dry, so the waitress had that taken off our bill.
Still, an overall disappointing visit.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Looking forward to going back.
The food was very good, but the service was terrible. We couldn't find our waitress numerous times. She was taking care of a table near us but never acknowledge us. Our food was over 20 minutes late.
The spinach and kale salad was fantastic, but the main dish "specials" were not fresh (moonfish was stiff) and overly spiced.
It was very hot! Other than that it was great!
