We had a great time!!
The website is totally misleading. You expect a nice, upper scale dining experienc, which is totally not what you get. You are sitting in a bar, in a booth, with sheer curtains. Nothing special here. The chef needs to rethink the truffle oil as well. Whatever you do, do not order the deviled eggs. And I have never had a filet that I literally could not rip apart with a knife and a fork. Overall, this was a big let down. Also informed them on the website when I made the reservation it was for a birthday, which was never referenced or acknowledged. If it weren't for Brian, the night would have been a total bust.
I had the most wonderful meal of my life at Cabana. I had the Salmon with Sweet Potato Ravioli and a delicious Sangria. Although I feel like we could’ve been accommodated inside the deck was nice since it had cooled a bit. Server was great, food was fantastic, lovely evening.
Sat in the window seat. There was another large party next to us & they were over-loud. Waiter was nice & did a good job. Food was good.
Comfortable quiet place for early tasty meal with friends, great service. Noise level low, easy to carry on conversation.
The outdoor seating is on a very un-level patio that makes finding an even place to set the hard uncomfy chairs is a challenge, not to mention just walking accross the deck without tripping. The food was good, the drinks were refreshing, and the service was delightful, but I feel like the restaurant itself needs a facelift. The concept is lovely, the location is great, it's just that the tables chairs and decor were obviously aging and lackluster. One of the shade tapestries overhead was even ripped in half and flapping. It definitely subtracted from the percieved value of the place.
Loved hanging out at Cabana! Made a reservation for a bachelorette party and got an individual cabana which was private. Good food and so fun!
The food and service was excellent. The price point of entrees is reasonable. This is our second time dining at Cabana's while vacationing in Nashville, TN. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
They were really good about being able to push back my reservation when I knew our group was going to be late but when I reserved a table for us online there was nothing noted that said you had to call to book a cabana which would have been nice to know when I made my reservation. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The bison sliders are the bomb.
Slow service, mediocre food but not bad. Otherwise pleasant.
Seated at one of two high tops in the bar, noisy group of 7 girls nearby on 'girls night' was too much for a normal conversation. Expected more upscale, got a typical bar experience. Photos of dining area (reserved for private party?) did not set proper expectations.
Food was poor, drinks were poor, staff was very good, ambiance was ok, too many college kids for my taste.
Everything was lovely!
Great food, great atmosphere. Perfect for my graduation celebration dinner!
Wonderful service and delicious food! I will definitely be coming back.
Wait service was spotty; she seemed very new. Classic cocktail was made incorrectly...sent back. Music was all over the place; at times we heard 3 different songs playing at once. Food was good but not hot.
I usually go to Cabana when I am in Nashville, and I have never been disappointed. While it is wonderful to hear live music, sometimes it is nice to be able to hear your dinner companions. My niece, daughter and I sat on the patio on a pleasant evening, enjoyed a lovely meal, and it was reasonably priced. I am sorry that I don't recall out server's name. She was quite friendly and attentive to our table without "hovering." We'll be back!
Overall, i wasnt too happy with Cabanas for my bday dinner. I didnt like the fact that Cabana called me three times to confirm my reservation. I didnt like the atmosphere. The other guest there seemed to be annoyed that we were there. We weren’t being loud or obnoxious. (There was a table of white girl behind us that screamed the whole night) I really think it had to do with us being people of color. The tables next to us stared the entire night. It was so bad that my quietest friend had to ask, “What are you staring at?” The waitress did a decent job but she forget to bring one of my friends meals yet still charged her 20% gratuity. Horrible experience.
Fabulous food & service! Small plates were delicious & large plates too.
Dinner meeting with client. Moved us to private Cabana. Great food and service.
We visited on Sunday nite with family. Trivia was very entertaining and complimented our experience. We didn't win but had a blast. We were visiting from out of town and Cabana was recommended to us, it did not disappoint, although the website suggested they served Martini flights, they don't do that anymore, so update the website. Service was prompt and friendly. Lobster mac and cheese was Amazing. I had Bison sliders, yummy. Restaurant was full, reservation was helpful to have. No standing in line like the other over-hyped Nashville spots.
The restaurant was extremely noisy, especially with the prom kids screaming around us. There was clearly no effort to seat my family, who was there to celebrate my birthday with me, away from the noise and crowd. The food took forever to be ready, so we had to sit there in a noisy restaurant waiting. We ate quickly just to leave as soon as possible.
Food was good, waiter was good. Kitchen took foreverrrrrrrr!
Nice business dinner. Was a little chilly on the atrium and a little loud. However, the service and food was excellent.
Horrible experience- was really excited to come here celebrating a bachelorette and the service was poor from the start. Table wasn’t ready when we arrived so we went to the bar. Bartender didn’t come over for 10 minutes and then had such an attitude when he did.
Food was terrible I’d say a 1 out of 10. Our group is from Boston where the food is amazing and we were excited for a great meal. Not the case.
Pork dumplings were not anything like described on the menu. The cornbread was described as bacon wrapped, there was no bacon flavor at all nor was it wrapped.
The roast chicken dish was extremely dry and flavorless.
The cabana was described as having a blue tooth connection. This was broken and they brought over a portable blue speaker to sit in the middle of the table after about 20 minutes of sitting there waiting for someone to come over and greet us.
The service was awful. We didn’t have a waitress for 20 minutes after sitting down.
Wouldn’t recommend at all.
We love Cabana and have been multiple times. Their atmosphere is wonderful and their food awesome. HOWEVER, this experience was terrible. We went Friday, April 13th. We sat at the bar for dinner and our bartender was awful. He was rude and condescending. He mocked us the entire dinner. He didn’t give us a drink menu so we had no idea what we were ordering. When it came to ordering food he told us we were being difficult because we asked about side options. He then did not attend to us after our first drink and we were there a total of two hours. He made us feel like we were a huge inconvenience. He was rude not only to us, but every other customer that came up to the bar to order a drink while waiting for a table. Some customers waited 10-20 minutes for him to even come over to ask their drink order. We even heard him call customers bit. When we asked for the check it took over 20 minutes to get . We used an open table gift card and he told us we were being difficult and making his job hard. He ruined our entire night out. We were really disappointed because our experience has always been great and we highly recommend the place. However, if we returned and he was there, we would walk right out.
Wonderful service and amazing food! The new chef has some excellent new choices and I look forward to seeing even more new menu items!
Loved the atmosphere, the Cabana, and our waitress was great!
This was our first visit but will not be our last. Staff was friendly and courteous. Service was very good; good wine list and food was excellent. The seared ahi tuna was perfectly prepared and the shrimp and salmon pasta will make you come back. The environment was quiet and relaxing.
I came across Cabana by chance. My GF and I were frequenting Hillsboro Village while in Nashville, and when looking for dinner, I found Cabana in a Nashville Guide. When we first arrived, it looked as if no one was there... place didn't even look open! However, once inside, there were plenty of other guests. The appetizers were out of this world (bison sliders and lobster mac n cheese). My smoked sweet tea half chicken was succulent! My GF has a pasta dish, which I nibbled on as well. A very quiet spot with a relatively small menu; I would probably return if I was in the area.
I hadn’t visited Cabana in months (maybe years), but the food was just as great as I remember. What wasn’t great was the number of loud bachelorette parties happening inside the restaurant at once while we were there. Guess how many. No, seriously, guess! Three sounds too loud, right? Four would be ridiculous!
THERE WERE SEVEN PARTIES BEING HELD INSIDE BY THE TIME WE LEFT!!! And don’t take this as a slight against the hostess or whoever is in charge of seating people; by the time you hit close to double digits in large parties in a restaurant at once, there is no choice but to have some spill over into the “regular” dining area.
Again, the food was GREAT! But I sure wish Cabana hadn’t made whatever list it is that has them as a pre-wedding dinner destination!
Wow! We were there for Mother’s Day, which we celebrate it March 21st in Lebanon. It was wonderful experience. Great food, service & prices. We will definitely recommend it & also be back.
Great girls night or date night
I asked for a high top cabana, I was put in the last one by the kitchen door staring at a garbage can. Not overly romantic as described online. Food was very flavorful and our server was great. Would maybe consider going back if sat at a different table.
In our neighborhood, Cabana is our go-to for "I Don't Want to Cook Tonight" meals and boy, does it never disappoint. Good food. Good staff. Good prices. It can be a bit loud from time to time, but that's the nature of the place and we wouldn't change a thing.
Excellent service and excellent food
My group went while we were in Nashville for a bachelorette weekend! Different than other restaurants and well worth it! Food and atmosphere were great!
Bad burger, stale bun. Louder than bars on Broadway.
Food was amazing! Service was impeccable! Great atmosphere! No complaints!
