From start to finish an absolute pleasure. Cuisine, beautiful. Service, amazing. The little shaved potato chips were a blast and so delicious.
authentic italian pizza but all the food is wonderful ! their wines are wonderful as well .
Our server was amazing!
She was a " mind reader" ; )
Service was excellent. The gluten free pizza was fantastic! Lots of pizza, pasta and entree options for everyone.
Excellent service, a unique mouth watering menu. We tried several dishes each stood up to the highest quality products with exceptional detail given to layered flavors. Our wait staff was well versed on both the menu and the various cooking methods used to craft each of these dishes.
A new GO TO for our family, absolutely fabulous!!
We used to go all the time. Now we are down to once every month or two. A couple years ago the owners visited Italy and made the menu super authentic. Not like an Italian restaurant. More like an Italian restaurant in 1900.
The push to eat like an Italian peasant from a hundred years ago is too forced. Hell, I like to eat unusual and/or creative dishes but some nights I don't want to go out on a limb and their are not many choices that are just easy.
On the other hand it seems to do well. What do I know?
Our favorite Italian. Awesome vibe and rustic feel. Dishes made with fresh ingredients and anything out of the wood burning oven is kill-er. A little on the expensive side but for a bi-monthly visit its worth it.
If you get a chance to visit with Guy the manager, do it.....super cool dude.
We live in Napa and wanted to try something different for my husband's birthday. We had a leisurely meal that was exceptional - from the soup to the dessert. Our waitress was very helpful with the menu and ordering. The host fixed our table wobble very quickly. It is warm and inviting. It gets busy, so I'd recommend reservations. The veal was exceptional. The tortellini soup in bone broth was amazing to start. But the gnudi was our favorite. Don't miss this place on your trip to Napa.
Pretty decent Italian
Food was very good. However Service was terrible. Forgot my drink until main course arrived. Not attentive at all. Didn’t know menu when asked questions.
Food has great taste due to quality ingredients, but the taste was not as good due to poor service and a confusing menu.
Server tried to be a salesman instead of helping us get what we asked for.
1. Asked for dessert wine and said I only like sweet wine. result. Lectured about how I don’t want dessert wine because it will make me full so instead I should get a Chardonnay then dessert wine. I ended up not ordering wine.
2. My cousin asked for a certain wine. Result. he said don’t get that one, get the other Cab instead because it’s much better. He could have brought out both wines for her to taste instead.
3. I wanted PASTA without cheese. He recommended the mussels which were in the pasta section. Result. Mussels did not come with pasta. I asked about the pasta, he told me the mussels don’t come with pasta.
4. Asked for pasta on the side after everyone got their food since I didn’t get the pasta dish I wanted. Result. Well undercooked pasta.
5. My wife ordered pasta without cheese. Result. Pasta came with cheese. Took a long time to get new pasta without cheese. Excuse, we hand make all of our pasta. Hers turned out great even though it was the same as mine; but she didn’t get to enjoy it with everyone else eating their meal.
6. Mandatory tip with poor service. No wonder.
A brand new server would have been better. I hope this person can stop upselling and instead focus on what the person wants.
Additionally, the menu was confusing to understand. That needs to change.
Very nice overall experience. Will be back
Great cocktails - ask for Ozzy !
Delicious, nuanced cuisine served by an attentive, thoughtful and cheerful waitress. A delightful experience.
Excellent evening out. We were treated wonderfully by Guy, our house manager and our waiter.
Food was excellent, service as well. Great atmosphere as well. It was a truly outstanding evening!!
The friendliest service, a BEAUTIFUL space for sure, and the presentation of the dishes were excellent - not to mention everything tasted SO GOOD, and definitely worth the value you are paying for. Me & my date were 100% super impressed by every thing!!!!! If we lived closer (SF to napa) we would go ALL the time! definitely super impressed!
The pizza is as great, but limp.
The menu was quirky. Not many good options Food was average. The drink menu was confusing and over engineered in an iPad
Our reservations were at 7:30pm and we didn’t get to our table until close to 8pm. The food was good, our server was excellent, and we loved the music.
Need work on reservation times and I read other reviews about same issue.
Underwhelmed..... everything was just ok. Not a robust menu, portions are small and prices are high. Also for being in the heart of Napa the local wine menu is also not robust and is very expensive. Ambiance and decor are great, perhaps a casual drink at the bar is why to go back.
used a gilt city voucher for a 4-course tasting menu for 2 and the meal was plentiful. The servers were knowledgable with the Italian translations that we asked in the menu. overall, a pleasant experience
As locals, this is one of our go to restaurants, we love the food! Hopefully, they will come up with a little bit more choices of wine and really good desserts, but yes! We will be back!
This is a fantastic spot! Great food, delicious , unique cocktails & live music on the weekends👌🏼
The menu is quite confusing, using Italian words that have to be translated by the server. There weren't any "regular" pasta dishes, which was very disappointing. Too many dishes involving organs and tripe. If you're looking for something very unique, I guess this would be it!
We had reservations and were seated right away. Five minutes later a young lady set down a carafe of water leaving no glasses and not speaking a word. Our waitress stopped by five minutes later to take our drink order. We requested water glasses and ordered cocktails. It took a while to receive our dinner and the horderves came out after the dinner was served. Not a very friendly place, would not recommend.
Great casual Italian. Fun - lots of energy to go with fine food and service.
Loved revisiting! Everything was wonderful - the fresh food, our happy, helpful server, and learning about the story of Ca’Momi. Almost everything is homemade - pasta, sauces, cold cuts... love it. Prices were just right and so were the portions. Will be returning more regularly. Thank you for everything!
This was my second time at the restaurant, but first time for dinner. Nice menu & drink selections. Cool bar. Live music too!
Love this place - fun wine list, they always have interesting Italian wines. And the pizzas are delicious. And dessert...everything here is so good. We've been here 3x. Only complaint was our last trip, we were seated next to some guy that was obnoxiously loud throughout the whole meal, but nothing the restaurant can really do about that. Overall highly recommended!
outstanding and authentic! great service! great atmosphere!!
This is our second time here, and we brought some good friends w/ us, and we ordered different food and still we love everything about it! The wait staff is again doing a great job....kind yet very professional! we will bring more friends!
Convivial, friendly atmosphere and wonderful service by all staff members. It was our first time visiting and our main waiter gave us a thorough and informative overview. Everything from the small plates to pizza to pasta were delicious, and the wine list presented great local and Italian options. Desserts were excellent as well, with some unique choices. There were so many items on the dinner menu I wanted to try; I’ll have to come back!
We were early for our reservation and seated promptly in a very small table for two. ( The restaurant was empty) The food is outstanding but pricey and felt our server was disconnected.
We enjoyed the insalata bianca, mussels with tomato & garlic | campania, rigatoni with braised oxtail | lazio. For dessert, tiramisu, cannoli and cappuccino.
The best pizza I have tasted in a long time ! Can’t wait to come back for the full menu !
Disappointing, been here before....good Italian options....
The ambiance was fabulous and the food was excellent. This will be one of our ‘’go tos.’’ Highly recommend!
The gnuddi were a pleasant surprise! Definitely unique and worth ordering again.
Contemporary , rustic feel.....hmmm not a fine dining setting , impressive flavors, the staff were kind and professional, price is average......we will surely be back!
The food was average and not very imaginative. Service was average at best. Maybe the pizza is better, but the menu items where disappointing,
I wanted to love this place based on the menu; not your typical Americanized Italian fare. Unfortunately, lack of decent food preparation execution, the most uncomfortable seats I've sat in and blinking lights ruined the experience.
First off, the seats are these horribly uncomfortable wooden beasts which are supposed to look rustic (I think). The backs of the seats dig into your back and were not helped by the scant pillow available.
Secondly, all of the lights in the restaurant were blinking irregularly causing my dining companion no end of misery. Maybe this is not typical, maybe so.
Finally and most importantly, the food…I had a wild mushroom and porcini pasta and it was one of the most tasteless mushroom dishes I've ever had. Adding sautéed mushrooms to a cream-based sauce simply doesn't suffice. I got no essence of mushroom flavor in the sauce whatsoever. The roasted vegetables served with the burrata were the sorriest part of the meal. They were simply roasted too long (too dark and some even burnt) and completely lost their distinct flavors. I had to roast my own vegetables this last weekend to remind myself just how fantastic they can be when properly roasted.
I should say the sautéed greens were delicious and I ate more of those than my pasta.
The only other positive thing I can put on this place is the service was mostly good. Initially a waiter showed up and then passed us off to another waitress. She was very helpful and professional.
