We have really enjoyed coming to Coast Village Road to dine at Ca'Dario. Sitting outside, is pleasant and comfortable. Our server was terrific and we enjoyed our dinners. We have made this location our new go-to spot.
The food was absolutely delicious! Next time, I will order a full plate of their signature ravioli dish with its buttery sage sauce all for myself! Our table ordered a serving to share.
Excellent food, great service. This is a first class, well run restaurant!!
Service was very slow and we had to ask many times to get things. They didn't give us our to go bag for so long we just left. We had reservations and requested a table and were told we couldn't have it bc we were 4 rather than 5. Next thing 3 people are at the table who did not have reservations. Not sure how that worked. Table not ready when we got there- had to wait for 15 minutes even though there were open tables. Staff needs training at min. Food was delicious but the service detracted from the good food.
Love their food. Their gluten free pizza is amazing as is their other Italian entrees.
Enjoyed a mid-week meal out of doors. We were a party of three. While each dish served was very good, nothing stood out as exceptional. Service was attentive and friendly, although it seemed like a large, rotating staff rather than a single server.
Our meals included the grilled fish special (Branzino), rotisserie chicken and spaghetti with meatballs. On request, the Brazino was deboned. I think it was the best choice of the three meals. The chicken was a generous 1/2, served with spinach and potatoes. Good but not exceptional. The spaghetti was a huge mound of pasta with plenty of meatballs, but wasn’t quite hot enough when served. To be fair, the kitchen was taxed the evening we visited by a large (40+) private party inside, so some slippage was probably inevitable.
We will certainly return and Ca Dario will remain both a favorite and a recommendation.
Celebrated a birthday with good friends! CaDario never disappoints - always the best service and food and ambiance! Was a delight yet again! My FAV spot in SB!
Close to home and always a fine experience!
We've been going to the downtown location for almost 20 years. Great food, great service, love all of the fish specials and the patio at the location in Montecito is really well done.
We absolutely loved our waiter Marco! We loved our food and wine! The bread was delicious, our only complaint was that it took forever to get our food. We understand these are difficult times and maybe you were short staffed last night, but it was awkward how long it took. We will be back to try again!
Always great food and outstanding service!
Food was Ok....would recomend getting take out pizza ...there are better italian locations to go to.
Waitress was very engaging and energetic and did a lovely job--She's from Serbia I believe. The food was quite good and the ambiance was nice. We've eaten at many of the Montecito Restaurants, so first time at Ca Dario. I wonder if the employees and owners know the real history in Venice, Italy behind the name?!! It's quite a shocker!
A great dining experience!
Great service! They let us stay long after closing
The fish special was superb and the pasta was excellent. The food came piping hot to the table as though it was just set out. Couldn’t be better at home.
We went to celebrate our 30th anniversary and had a wonderful dinner! The risotto special was SO delicious: Dungeness crab, lobster and shrimp in a fresh tomato broth. My husband had the spaghetti vongole, which was also wonderful . We paired it with a lovely bottle of Sancerre.
Our waitress also wished us a happy anniversary and brought us a piece of tiramisu to celebrate. I expected it to be complimentary, but we were charged $10 for it 😂 no big deal…I’m sure it was an oversight so we didn’t mention it to our sweet waitress.
We will definitely come back again !!
Wonderful service and the best Branzino in town!
Great dinner before a concert at Santa Barbara bowl. Came from LA, new spot for us when we come back to town!
Marco and the whole staff were fabulous, as always!
Great location, service and kitchen, highly recommended
We had a wonderful time and the food was excellent. The waiters went above and beyond to retrieve my date's phone when she dropped it off the deck. Thank you.
We had a 7 o’clock reservation and had to wait almost an hour. When asking the hostess why, she said their system double books reservations…
Italian food just doesn't get any better than this.
Wonderful outdoor dining, great service, wonderful wine list, always consistent food
The restaurant was very busy, but our waiter and staff were excellent. Food was great.
A delightful meal from start to end. Great service snd a robust specials menu. No wonder the place is busy.
Been there many times and is constantly improving all elements of successful dining. Especially noteworthy is the wait staff of Dubra and Marco, the best in the business. Food specials and preparations also worthy of note!
Food superb, as usual! pity they ran out of branzino, which has been outstanding.
Pasta sauces wonderful, too.
Made lunch reservations for Labor Day, outdoors due to Covid and because it was a beautiful day in Montecito. We had requested Angel as our server, but he was taking the day off and we were served by Marco, a friendly, cheerful and highly professional waiter. He made the lunch experience perfect. My wife opted for a pizza and I the branzino fish special, which Marco expertly deboned. Our only “disappointment” was our favorite Gavi wine was temporarily unavailable and we had to “settle” for an amazing Pinot Grigio Marco recommended.
There are many fine Italian restos in the SB area, but Ca Dario has become our favorite.
Food and service were excellent.
Ca Dario's food is delicious and the servers are friendly and attentive. This Montecito location offers a "front porch" for outdoor dining and it is enjoyable to sit there on a nice day.
Good food need cheesecake on menu
This restaurant is always my favorite but it is the first time going to this location. Montecito location is much more relaxing and not as frenzied as the downtown Santa Barbara location. The wait staff it’s so much fun; attentive & checked on us the perfect amount of times. It’s a more relaxing and larger location. Can say enough about the knowledgeable, friendly & professional wait staff. I can’t remember the last time have exquisite food and perfect waiters. Thank you!
Delicious burata salad with prosciutto wrapped peaches
I love the food at CaDario. Great Italian food, with great service right on Coast Village Road. The service is fantastic, good wine, good food, and ask for the Owner to come out and talk about food and tennis in Santa Barbara. Fantastic.
Wonderful as always! Excellent staff!
Food was great. Staff is the best!
