Food, cocktails and service at C3 is great. I enjoy dropping by to sit at the bar for a great cocktail or taking my wife for a great dinner. Always good.
Food is fantastic and the service is great. We try to eat here every time we come to Bloomington.
Amazing!! This is our favorite date night location in Bloomington!
Overall excellent experience. The waitress was fun yet professional and very courteous. Food was delicious. Only negatives were that the table was very wobbly and would hit the wall whenever myself or my date would lift any weight off of the table. Also, for more than half of the time we were there, the lights were very dark-granted that is the setting of this restaurant and it’s part of the mood and ambience, but because we were off in a little corner/cubby, the light didn’t reach us and the lights next to us weren’t bright enough and could barely see one another. These are minor offenses compared to our overall experience, which was very pleasurable. We will surely return!
Perfect delicious great service
Here for Moms weekend and taking my bdaughter for a good dinner
Quaint, home-vibe feel with a specified fine dining menu with often rotations based on availability of local finds. Great hand crafted cocktails with a fairly priced extensive wine list. Food is incredible and the options are numerous (I had a tough time picking between 4 different options!). Would highly recommend for any foodie or drink enthusiast!
Food was amazing! We had the crab dip, sliders, and special pork tenderloin. Wasn’t crazy about my drink, too strong and too much liquorish flavoring. Other than that had a wonderful time and enjoyed the jazz band!
One of the best meals we've had in Bloomington and we've visited a lot of the restaurants over the years! Tucked away in a residential area but the place was hopping on a Friday night at 7:30. Nice bar area if you have to wait. Really liked the ambiance and it looks like they have outdoor seating where you're not sitting on a main street in the nice weather.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday and came specifically to hear the Jazz band. We were not able to see the band but could hear them fine. A stage for bands would be great or maybe make the seating more of an open floor plan would increase being able to see the group perform.
Overall our experience was quite enjoyable! The drinks and food were great! The noise level was a bit high, but nothing we couldn’t contend with.
We are regulars at C3 and are big fans. They rotate the menu regularly and provide an excellent selection of craft cocktails and wine. Even when they are busy, it's still quiet enough to have a conversation. Live music is a very nice complement to an excellent dining experience.
Very creative and highly talented chef. Lovely food presentation as well as taste.
The service is welcoming, timely, and genuinely friendly. C3 offers an upscale atmosphere without the upscale snobbery. Excellent values on the wine list and always an unexpected and interesting beer to be tasted. If you enjoy delicious food, a lively atmosphere, and service with a genuine smile, you'll enjoy C3.
Just a lovely dining experience!
Will definitely be back.
With the new added space, C3 has risen to the lit of top restaurants in Bloomington.
The food is creative, but the menu also continues to have favorites. Our group was a pre-holiday
gathering, and all 5 of us (often very critical foodies) were happy with our different dinners.
The lights were too bright (in contrast to the earlier restaurant) and they quickly lowered them.
Love this place!
Pasta special amazing! Roasted pumpkin hummus was outstanding!
duck and fish entrees were first-rate. whiskey flight was wonderful. this place with more space now is becoming one of our top three restaurants in Bloomington
While visiting family and friends in Bloomington, we took our niece and her husband to C3 as a first time experience for all 4 of us. Our wish for good and creative food was more than fulfilled with delicious and sometimes unexpected combinations that worked well together. The wine list had choices for all tastes, portions were appropriate (at least for us), service was discrete and efficient with as much or as little explanation as we requested and while there was a gentle buzz of conversation around us, we could hear each other well and were able to get caught up on family events. We enjoyed both cocktails and wine and were impressed with those as well. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone who enjoys creative, tasty food.
C3 has been one of my regular stops on Thursdays and Saturdays when they have live jazz. Good food (smaller European like portions but a high quality and innovative culinary experience. Regular jazz performances and unique cocktails (a bigger selection of single malts would be nice). Highly recommend if you are looking for an upscale but not pretentious spot.
C3 has become our favorite Bloomington restaurant. Food is always delicious and service is prompt and friendly. Crispy Brussels Sprouts are amazing!
Had a very good dinner at C3. Menu was creative, the food was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this caliber. The only disappointment was dessert, but the server removed the dessert from our check. Highly recommended and we will go back.
This was our first visit to C3 but we will certainly return! Food and cocktails were fantastic! The crispy Brussels sprouts were amazing! This may be our favorite Bloomington restaurant!
Decided to try C3 after the seasonal menu change and addition of a new Chef. We were not disappointed of the choices and the food. The Cocktail selection was great as usual with a nice variety of the popular staples and new additions. The frites which we always get were a little disappointing as they were a bit soggy and not firm and crisp as before.
Glad they have expanded. The combination of Allison (manager) and Matt (chef) is a great one!
Great dinner, nice people, we will go back and would recommend to others.
Very nice. Good food. Good ambiance. Recently double the dining size . Would recommend.Outdoor seating when weather permits.
Really fine presentation of fresh food in a great atmosphere!
My family had dinner there on a Saturday night. The service was fine but the food was under seasoned and boring. Not worth the cost, won’t go back.
1st visit and will definitely be back! Great vibe/atmosphere with good service. Good mix of cocktails, beer, and wine. Dinner not overly large but food was good.
First time here. Lovely room & great food. We shared fries then went separate ways: Caesar (served with scrumptious roasted Brussels sprouts!) & gnocchi; special entree of beef tips, & roast chicken. Clean Plate Club all around. Wine pours are a bit spare, but good choices. We definitely will be back. And it's open Monday nights.
421 Daiquiri is my favorite cocktail; food was great. Three of us had: Deviled eggs, lamb, burger, fries, crab Rangoon, squash/pear soup. We'd recommend all of it. Sitting outside on a beautiful October evening was very enjoyable.
Our server was fantastic and very helpful with the menu. The ambiance was perfect for a birthday dinner. A must try for the unique and delicious cocktails! The food was delicious and the rolls are a must.
Group of 6 for book club had a great meal and service in a quiet alcove. Will definitely return.
I wanted to like this place, but the food was just "okay." The apps were better than my main, which was a sea bass special. I've never had undercooked fish (outside of sushi), but this was a bit raw for my taste. We were on a business dinner, so I didn't raise the concern with our server. My gin cocktail was pretty good, but nothing amazing. My colleague ordered a cocktail with gummy bears in it, which seemed out of place for a restaurant going for "upscale." I'll definitely try them again, as I suspect other cocktails are well balanced.
Getting better and more room with expansion. Cesar salad excellent, lamb too. Bit too noisy for conversation. On the way to one of best in town, where there is less and less competition unfortunately.
A nice experience. C3 has a new chef, has enlarged by renovation, now takes reservations and the staff is increasingly attentive. A small well-prepared menu. Neighborhood gem. The restaurant has steadily improved over the past 12 months. We recommend C3.
Didnt have half the food on the menu, dessert was meh. Server was super nice
