While the server was exuberant, and very friendly and helpful, she must have had too many tables. It took her forever to get anything for us. We recognize some of that was due to kitchen back up after a game, but, there was little communication about it, and no reason why our bill took more than 30 minutes to get after we had finished all our food and told her we were ready for the check. It also took over 30 minutes to get a drink. There was really no excuse for that.

Our server was Venessa, she made the experience amazing. It was a special weekend and she offered suggestions to us and checked back at our during every course we ordered, she made our celebration memorable. The next time I dine there I hopefully get her or someone just like her.

We were truly blown away by the friendly, high-energy, professional service, from the hostess stand to our server and everyone in between. In a season where great service seems very hard to come by to even make it worth paying what you have to pay to eat out these days, C. Ellet’s nailed it. While the steaks and side dishes are pricey, everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.

Order was placed incorrectly and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for Steak Salads. Once received steak was raw and not eatable! Manager did comp the salads and sent out two desserts which was a nice recovery, however, I will not return to this restaurant. There are many more that are better.

Went before a Braves game for a nice meal with my husband. We just had twins and this was one of the first times getting out alone. I ordered a margarita and it was a little strong for me as I don’t drink that much anymore now that I have twin infants. So I asked for a little extra soda water to add to my drink. A dash. To add to my drink. They charged me $.20 for this. Clearly I do not care about $.20 we wanted a nice meal and booked at an expensive restaurant. But $.20 for a dash of soda water bc my drink was too strong. Unexpecxeable. Clearly don’t care able pleasing the customer. Care more about the cents.

The food was not good. We had the pancake palooza. We didn't try the sausage. The eggs were terrible like butter out of a tub. The pancakes were fine. The potato skins had a weird sauce which I don't believe was listed on the menu. The service was so slow, almost an hour to get pancakes and eggs. The bar was out of the first two items we ordered. Paid to leave and eat elsewhere.

Do not go! There are lots of wonderful steak places in Atlanta. This is not one of them. They were going to put 5 of us at a table for 4. We refused so they did put us at a 6 top. We were told they were out of a lot of stuff on the menu before we ordered. Then we ordered and they came back to tell us they were out of NY strip steak! Really. Ordered oysters. They were out of a few different types. Then the food came. Worst steaks ever! One was overwhelmed by the pepper on it! Two were terribly tough. And the prices!!!! Outrageous!!!

Our family of 4 went for Mother's Day this year. My kids are 6 and 8 and I was pleased that they had a nice kids menu. And the restaurant was not stuffy towards kids. It had been a few years since we had been to C. Ellett's and they have undergone an interior renovation that made the space much more open and airy, which we liked. They had a selection of about 5 oysters varieties and the starters came out quickly. The NY strip was good but not amazing... certainly not a $100 steak. But everything else was good and we enjoyed the more casual atmosphere, especially on a busy day like Mother's Day. They had a jazz duo playing. I would definitely recommend this for fine dining that you can also take your kids to, which is great for the Battery and Truist Park.

For advertising oysters on the wall outside the entrance in bold characters, I was shocked at the quality we were served. The size was so small, they barely fit on the fork when pulling them out of the shell. I had to search for them. So that was disappointing. Opted for flounder, it was a bit dry. Husband took a bite. He agreed. Glad we didn't take a chance on the steaks. We'll stick with Chops or Hal's for that. I guess for the price, we expected more. Had two small children bouncing in the booth behind me. But it is the Battery. So families are welcome everywhere. It was our first time at the Battery and it was our anniversary. Now we know what to expect. Fun place overall. Probably wouldn't return to that particular restaurant.

Food was great. Our server was trying very hard but the restaurant was poorly managed. It was a Braves game night, we made a reservation with plenty of time to still make the first pitch but it took an hour for our food to come out from the kitchen (two sandwiches and two salads). We were told their was a private party of 30 that was let in and all of their food came out first. They knew it was game night. Should have been better prepared.

We ate here before the Braves game and everything was incredible. The drink recommendation was great. It was the gin & tonic one with basil. Charbroiled oysters were fantastic and the salmon was spectacular. The steak sandwich was to die for with that au jus. Finished everything off with the raspberry sorbet. Seriously everything was perfect along with the service. I will be back here and highly recommend.

This is a great place to dine before a Braves game. The steaks range from very reasonably priced to high end, their expresso martini is one of the best in Atlanta, and the service and ambience is always on point.

Music a bit too loud for my taste. The food was excellent. Wife had the filet. I had the pork chop. You have to wait for the chop but definitely worth it. It's all a little pricey, but very good. Try to get Elizabeth as your server. She is great. She is energetic but not overbearing.

The caesar sald with fried oysters was delicios as was the NY Strip (perfect medium rare) and the buttery mashed potatoes. My wife had the H&F Burger with parmesan truffle fries. Our waitress Vanessa was great. C. Ellet's never disaapoints - the food is consistently very good.
