We love C&S. Everything we have ever had is fantastic. The bourbon smash cocktail was fantastic, the shrimp rolls were very good, the oysters were very tasty, our halibut and salmon entrees were incredible. To cap it all off we finished with the lava cake, which is one of my wife’s favorites around. The server, Darren, and the manager were all very kind, informative and made our anniversary dinner very special! Thank you C&S fam!
Food and service were wonderful. We will be going back.
Great food; however, service was subpar especially since the restaurant was scarcely populated. There was a child being permitted to literally run around and crawl on the furniture. This was distracting and unacceptable while trying to enjoy a good meal and wind down after a long week. I’ll return because the food is always stellar. I’ll just hope for a better server, avoid the one I had last night and hope that they aren’t letting children run like wild animals - touching everything mid-pandemic.
Always delicious with excellent service.
Eat here fairly often but tonight was an extra special date and everything was perfect!
Even as they restart their opening after all the virus stuff, a first class restaurant.
My wife and I went for our anniversary. After these few months we were so ready to get out. The staff kept an extremely high standard of safety and cleanliness. Everyone was extremely polite. Our server Kyle was incredible! Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! The food was excellent, super fresh. Overall it was a cool vibe and one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I would highly recommend!
Fabulous food couple with great music and an energetic atmosphere
Excellent food and high quality service! I never tire of this restaurant.
Delicious food and great service! Very responsible social distancing and sanitation in place. Highly recommend!
Outstanding oysters and tuna tartare. Service was phenomenal!
Not performing at the standard I've become accustomed too in the past. But this is "Post Pandemic" reopening of dining room....
Reminds me of the old Jim White's Half Shell in Ptree Battle shopping center. Long gone. Prices not cheap but not unreasonable either. (Excuse the double negatives). C&S and others have priced half shell oysters outside of my interest, $3-5 a shuck. Grew up in Louisiana and perfectly happy with Gulf oysters and $1- 1.50 a shuck. It just makes me laugh watching someone order a $5 oyster, dip it in cocktail sauce and put it on a cracker. Wish this place and others had Gulf choice and I'd get a dozen. Oysters Rockefeller were good alternative. It takes more than a knife to prepare and I have never fooled with them at home. I ordered Flounder. They served a nice size filet and perfectly cooked.
All restaurants loud these days with hardwood floors. I'm an "older gentleman" so difficult for me to hear conservations in that atmosphere. My problem not theirs.
I'll go back.
Went this past Friday. Second visit. Beautiful evening so sitting on the patio / sidewalk was great. Food and house cocktails were really good but oyster options were limited to one. That may be because of the pandemic so difficult to fault anybody for that. Server kept forgetting things, like that he had already taken our order or our second drink order or picking up the check. Not the end of the world because we were in no hurry but a bit annoying. Yes, we would go again. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.
Winderful service & delicious food made for a lovely anniversary dinner. C & S never disappoints
I had dinner with my son for Mother’s Day. We ate outside, and it was wonderful.
We went on Mother’s Day and even though the restaurant had been open for a couple of weeks they were not ready and very disorganized. Took over an hour to get entrees out. Close to an hour 15 minutes. I went to the restroom and noticed no one had food on any of the tables.
Food was great. My daughter had the scallops, my son had the Blakened grouper, my wife had the King Salmon special, and I had the founder. All were cooked to perfection.
The food was so late I almost asked for the manager but we want this restaurant to make it past the pandemic slow down.
They seemed to be giving to go order priority over seated customers. Unacceptable.
I will blame it on the pandemic this time but the next time the service and food needs to be spot on for the prices they charge.
We enjoyed our time at C&S. It was a little strange with the masks and stuff, but the team did a great job separating tables. The food was good. I ordered a rich dish and would not do that again, but we really enjoyed being able to go out, get dressed up and be somewhere we could trust.
Try the house c&s oyster! Incredible, farmed exclusively for c&s!
In a word, outstanding! Very safe environment. Only issue, not enough customers. I encourage anyone wanting a night out, go support C & S or other open restaurants you like. However, C & S is hard to beat.
My favorite restaurant in atlanta
It was our first time there and Darrin did an awesome job of helping us navigate to the cocktails, starters, and meals that suited us the best.
Great job all!
C&S starts with the best host in Atlanta, Arnold does a great job making sure you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.
I feel for them with the idiotic social distancing and mask requirements. Usual great seafood well prepared. TVs seem odd for the otherqise upscale though.
Everyone was so nice and expressed gratitude for us coming out. All safety precautions were taken.
It was our first time to dine out since the pandemic and it was LOVELY!
