Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients.

Was very crowded today as it was Mother's day. Kitchen was backed up and took way to long to receive food. Food was good, not great. Management tried to apologize and gave us free desert to compensate for slow food. Would go back. But not on Mother's day..

Been there a few times for dinner. Took my wife and her daughter, husband and two kids for Mother’s Day brunch. Excellent server Damon! Everything was spot on! We left at 1ish and the place was still packed! Must be the great food and service. I’m going back soon.

Food was overpriced. Went for brunch that was advertised on website, but they did not have it. Only offered more expensive dinner menu for lunch. I was not pleased with the bait and switch.

The ambiance, food, and set up was very nice. It was my wife’s birthday so I made a request to have flowers on the table prior to our arrival and they made it happen for an extra charge. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for seafood. My wife had the redfish which was super delicious, and I had the red snapper. No complaints at all.

Had an amazing dinner at C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar in Atlanta! The food was fresh and delicious—especially the branzino. The highlight of the night, honestly, was Rachael. She was our bartender/server, and she was phenomenal—super knowledgeable, friendly without being overbearing, and she made amazing drink recommendations. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Definitely going back!

The food was absolutely amazing! The staff were very attentive! Our server Rachel was fabulous! Highly recommend for happy hour, lunch, dinner, or brunch!
