Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

Love coming to this location, had a few appetizers with my girlfriends. We ordered Chargrilled oysters of course, bone marrow & escargot is always amazing, if you haven’t had it, it’s a must try! Calamari is one of the best in the city, crab cake is all jumbo lump no breading. Don’t forget about the drinks… one of my favorite’s - Gold Member, tell them Rachel sent you 💕

Rachel our waitperson was outstanding , manager excellent and even came to the table and the chef went so far as to come out of the kitchen to apologize because they had run out of Lobster. Now that’s what I call GREAT service ! Thank you Great spot

Love C&S This was our 1st time at this location. Looks great, food was good. However the Bone Marrow and Escargot was so salty that it was inedible. It's below C&S standards. Disappointing and impacted our experience.

Food was good, chargrilled oyster appetizer fantastic. Pleasant, friendly service but not on top of it. Got both entree orders wrong and had to send back. Long wait for a cocktail. Bottle of wine arrived in advance of the wine glasses. Manager comped our app for the service hick-ups, which was greatly appreciated. Would return for the oyster appetizer but not wowed by the entrees. Really nice ambience on the atrium - recommend! Inside is dark so more of a winter time ambience, in my opinion.

My girlfriend and I went here for a birthday dinner, and our experience was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The hostess greeted us warmly and gave us the option to choose our seating, which we appreciated. We opted for a cozy spot inside. Our server, Elijah, was excellent—he provided a clear explanation of the menu and made some great recommendations. Alex, the manager, also stopped by time to time and check on us. He suggested the char-grilled oysters. They were the highlight of our dinner—very fresh and incredibly tasty. Definitely recommend getting it. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
