   Was okay. Food was average, staff was polite but inexperienced. No AC was rather warm inside. Nice that it’s a BYOB makes it reasonable if you are going to have some drinks/wine. Would go back but there are better choices in Kennett.

   Ordered lamb focaccia and received lamb in a spaghetti sauce which was not the way it was served in the past. Should have been told before switch was made. Bad taste.

   We came after a day at Longwood Gardens nearby, and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Portions were great, and the chicken shish kabob and salmon were seasoned well and very tasty.

   I took my college friends who were visiting me to dinner. Waitstaff allowed us to linger and enjoy our food, wine, and conversation. Really enjoyed the sampler and paella. Salmon was good too.

    Great food and service as always. The noise level in my ratings is not for the dinning room. We were seated outdoors so I believe the dining room would be much quieter. I would go back again and have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant.

    Our server was very friendly and efficient. If we needed anything, she was on top of it. The food is, as always, fabulous and nuanced. Nothing better on a winter day than their Bolognese.

    First time here and we were very impressed with the food, service and portions. We brought our own wine and had an enjoyable evening with our adult children. Will definitely be back!

    Inexperienced, young wait staff provided terrible service although very friendly. The wait for our entrees was crazy long. But the food was good, nice serving sizes (enough to take some home) also although salads were enormous. Entrees we’re salmon, excellent, lamb & cavatelli, very good , and fajitas also good. Hopefully they will increase and train the staff soon

    Very disappointed. I have dined at Byrsa Bistro in the past and was quite pleased. This time, restaurant was nearly empty, wait staff were friendly but very inattentive. Food was average at best. I will not be back.

    Byrsa always serves the best food with the freshest ingredients. The ambiance is nice, quiet and the service is always good. The lamb cavatelli and the beef bolognese are exceptional and one of the best things is this is a BYOB restaurant that does not have a corkage charge. Ahmed, the owner is regularly present and ensures his guests have a pleasant experience.

    I had the Chicken and Tortellini, my husband had the Salmon and Salad. We were both very happy. The little potato cake that accompanied the salmon was a special surprise. My tortellini dish was wonderful, the sauce wasn’t too heavy, and the ingredients were so fresh! Both dishes were piping hot. We even ordered a dessert, the pistachio baklava, the three pieces were the perfect finish.

    I have been going to Byrsa Bistro for many, many years. In fact, I think I started dining here when it first opened! This is a wonderful restaurant with absolutely delicious and unusual food choices. I love the owner! Truthfully, This restaurant got me through the pandemic over the last year and a half. On very, very special days and cold evenings, I would call for delivery. Again, everything was perfect, and thoughtfully and artistically presented

    The restaurant was understaffed resulting in an extremely slow dinner service. As a result we didn’t order additional drinks or dessert. Not the waitress’ fault. She was serving 8 different tables. Inside and out.

    I thought the food and service were very good. However, the owner(s) need to do a better job of providing wine. Their choices were not good and had their name on the label, which is stupid unless they are making their own wine.

    The service got off to a slow start as we had to wait 15-20mins for a server after being seated. After the wait, things started to click and we had an outstanding experience. We would definitely return.

    Fantastic find... first time. We met the owner and another couple who were friends of his. Such a fun time, great food and service. The noise since we sat outside is an issue due to kids revving their cars and racing up and down the street. That's a township issue. It's not fair to the restaurant owners and patrons that want to enjoy a nice quiet meal outside.

    I really like the fact that I could make a reservation for outside dining. There were plenty of tables set up on the sidewalk. The chairs were comfortable. The iced tea was fantastic. I asked how they brewed their tea and the waitress said that it is half mint tea and half black. It was delicious. Prices were a bit high but they are located in a town so it was to be expected. Loved their version of an antipasto appetizer. The mushroom soup was different as there were no large slices of mushroom but more of a bisque but was wonderful and nice and hot. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends esp for outdoor dining.

    We have had Paella before, but not for over a year. Quality has decreased greatly. Overcooked rice, seafood of poor quality and even worse quantity. So disappointed. We will not return. So sorry to lose this option.

    To start out with the 15min wait for drinks and appetizer (cold appetizer) we decide to sat inside because it was getting cold, after we sat inside that's when they brought our appetizers and drinks. After 30 minutes waiting for our food,the food came in my partner order Paella(we are Hispanics we know how it looks PAELLA), well it was soup, the seafood was gummy (overcooked), I order Bolognese pasta, pasta was a little thick and beef was to grainy (overcooked) and dark to my taste. The wine was nasty. We felt bad for the staff (short staff) there were running around like crazy.
