Service and food were amazing! What a gem of a place!

First time there. Disappointed with the portions especially for the price. Will not return

Had 5:15 reservation in a Friday night. I don’t know if the waitress was new or just bad. Ordered a bottle of wine (their own brand Sauvignon blanc-bleh). Asked waitress if she had something to chill the bottle to which we received a blank stare and then she said she could take it back down out in the refrigerator for us. We asked do you have an ice bucket? “Oh yeah. “. It was very disjointed service. Asked for some bread with our entrees. Another tough question for another waitress. She finally said,” I could do some pita”. We literally had to help them learn how to serve. Food was ok but overall experience will not bring me back. Disappointing bc my last experience at their place across the street was exceptional.

Went for a pizza night. Their pizza is outstanding and service impeccable. I see they now added Mexican fare. Can't wait to try.

Front of the house too busy, could not keep up with take out pick up, and inside dining. Trying to change to add Tex Mex in addition spreads too thin. Disappointing.

Best mushroom soup in Kennett. The restaurant has 2 sides now, with Byram on the right and Mexican on the left. Items can be ordered from either side. The tacos are really more like mini fajitas.

Always great food and wonderful service

The branzino and salmon were very good and a perfect portion. The mushroom soup was very flavorful. We enjoyed our visit.

A little drafty cold in the window area. The restaurant is cute and they had rose petals out. Dolmades were good. Bronzino was thin and crispy with good vegetables. The lamb and noodle dish was lacking lamb. Two small
Pieces of lamb in our dish. Strange it was served to us that way. It was good tasting though. Service was very good. Wine we bought was more a white table wine not Sauvignon Blanc tasting. Will be back!

Restaurant was a little drafty and cold which distracted from our meal. Everything else was fantastic.

It was pizza night at Byrsa in Kennett Square. My wife and I love their pizza and the fact that it is BYOB and we can bring a wine from my cellar makes perfect. Ahmed did a great job expanding his menu a few months back to have pizza and wings! Thanks Ahmed for another great meal ...Margie and Dave

We ate inside, there was just one other couple in the room, so we felt very safe. In fact, the attention we received made the evening feel very special. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly.

Food, drinks and service were great! Great pizza for kids and entrees for adults.

Our party of 7 had a wonderful experience here, the food, the service and ambiance were all outstanding!

We chose to sit inside, so even though there was live music on the street, we had no trouble having a normal conversation at our table. The staff was very accommodating to our requests, we weren't rushed, and everything arrived at its peak. We would be very happy with the Mediterranean Sampler for dinner; it is so good.

Ahmed is the most gracious host and always has a good to share.

Everything is wonderful about this restaurant Except the food. It’s just really not very exciting and is way over priced for the quality. We went to Byrsa at its old location in kennett and it was amazing then. I’m not sure what happened with the menu or food quality, but it’s definitely not the same. The restaurant itself is amazing and the servers were great..: hopefully the menu will continue to improve over time.

We enjoyed an evening of outside dining during one of Kennett's Fridays with the streets closed. Place was busy, and we had great service, food and drinks. Did not feel rushed. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

We eat in the street and it was very good. The waitstaff and food was excellent.

Dinner outside was good. I was as disappointed because I wanted to get their chicken tagine; however they removed it from their menu. That was the reason I went! Bring it back!!! The dinners my companions got were good: the salmon and branzino were well cooked and delicious.

We ate outside, so that's why it was noisy, as there was a band playing. But we didn't mind! It was actually a very lovely evening out, which we hadn't had in months. The food was delicious, the service was great. I look forward to returning!

We went on a Thursday afternoon, so there weren't too many customers. We were seated outside and the tables and chairs were clean. The server was very kind and responsive. The food was phenomenal. We got the Mediterranean Sampler for the appetizer. The pita was warm and flavorful. The cucumbers, tomatoes, and chickpeas tasted fresh. The "mixed veggie puree" tasted like Babaganoush and it was really tasty. The hummus was very nutty and smooth. The grape leaves were slightly warm and full of flavor. For our main courses, we got the Kennett Square mushroom pizza and the lamb sandwich. Again, full of flavor. The pizza is well worth the money and you could really taste the mushrooms. The lamb sandwich was savory and full of spices (not sure what they were) and the bread they use is toasted ciabatta. We had an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Always very good food at Byrsa Bistro. We love the outside tables and the ambience of so many others eating outside, all far away. My wife loved her bronzino (fish) dish, and my salad with salmon was excellent, also, except that the salmon was over-cooked.

All of our food was flavorful and the portions great. We brought our own wine and enjoyed dining outside. Value was great! Will definitely go again!

Good food and wine from the owners vineyard. The Sauvignon Blanc was excellent . Fresh ingredients galore . Caesar Salas excellent as is mediteranean platter appetizer

Lovely outdoor dinner for two on a beautiful night in Kennett Square. We enjoyed the burrata appetizer. It was shareable and delicious. We also both ordered the paella, which was fabulous. We brought our own wine, and they didn't charge a corkage fee. I didn't think about that until after we left. I'm not sure if it's typical or if it was an oversight. We'll be back to Byrsa Bistro soon!

Very nice dining experience outside on a cool evening- Service was wonderful and food was very delicious and inexpensive
BYOB but they also have a few choices of wine and some IPA beer.
Service was very good and very attentive.
Started with the Mediterranean appetizer that included stuffed grape leaves a cucumber and tomato salad ,baba ghanouj a plate of olives some hummus and very delicious warm pita bread- 16$ enough for two to split
Strawberry salad with arugula and salmon was very fresh and the strawberries were plentiful
Beef Bolognese with pasta was also delicious and slightly spicy!! Yummy

Rainy day lunch; very humid. The restaurant was very warm as they had just opened for lunch at noon. The hostess was very accommodating. She has just turned A/C on but opened the door for air which quickly cooled us off. The food is Mediterranean and was very good (recommend the white pizza with garlic). Wine list was limited for our usual pino grigio though so we settled for a white table wine.

We are very excited that our local restaurants are able to remain open by having tables in the street, keeping socially distant, outdoors.
The food wasn’t the high quality I have enjoyed at Byrsa in the past, 2 out of our group of 4 had to send the salmon back as it wasn’t cooked at all on the inside!

Great little restaurant - casual vibe, good food, friendly service - also has outdoor seating - I would say one of the better restaurants in Kennett Square. BYOB but you can also get a glass of wine there.

This was our 2nd time here. Like the first time the food was excellent. A friend and myself we had the chicken risotto which came with a beet and almond salad. Both were excellent. My husband got a veggie burrito which also came with a salad and he also had the mushroom soup. All the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Would definitely go back again!!

We had the Caprese Burrata app, the Branzino and the Bucatini & Diablo Seafood mains, and the Chocolate Mousse dessert. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared and nicely presented. Service was young but attentive and the friendly owner came by to talk with us. A terrific evening.
