Bygone’s warm & welcoming atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-school social club, while our open rotisserie grill, whiskey bar & craft cocktails add a flair that is undoubtedly contemporary.

Wonderful time - my only complaint was that the food was a little heavy with the butter and cream. I get it that it is channeling the classics, but not sure that is totally sustainable in the long run. For example, my scallops were sitting in pools of butter.
Wine list was great
Great lunch. We’ll be back and will try the brunch and dinner.
This was an experience for the ages! Everything from the view to the food was amazing! Can’t wait to return.
Overall we had an enjoyable time at Sunday brunch. Our server Alexis was great!!! Very attentive and pleasant. The staff as a whole were very professional and friendly. My food choices were delicious. Everything was very fresh. My only issue is with the price. I do feel there should have been more food options for $60 per person. Mimosas and Bellinis should've been included; not a separate price. I am going to visit again.... lunch or dinner.
Starting with the elevator ride up ....everything about the The Bygone is classy, fun, sexy, grown up and did I mention how delicious the food was😊🥂. Highly recommended....and you will love 💕 the views...especially at night.
Beautiful restaurant. Great food! Great place for a date night.
Great food and service and amazing views ! Definitely will be back .
Best dinner experience ever. I would definitely go again and recommend to a friend. The view is spectacular and the wait staff is top notch. Food was fantastic but it is definitely more than a meal it is an experience.
Reservation was at 6:30pm, was waiting in the bar area to be seated. However, we had to ask at 6:45 if our table was ready. It was.
The sun was a huge problem even with the defused window shade. Since it was impossible to read menu, had to use our hands to shield the sun.
The atmosphere/view is amazing. The customer service is A+. The food is an F. My date had to send her meal back not once but twice. Settled for a crab cake meal and it cost alittle more but nothing was offered monetary for the food issues. That was disappointing.
Great place for a date night! My husband and I could not have chosen a better place to spend our anniversary especially since Hurricane Dorian ruined our original plans. The service was impeccable and our waiter knew the menus (food & beverage) in great detail. The food was delicious and filling ... I can't stand going to restaurants that feed you baby portions. I highly recommend the baked Alaska as a dessert finisher!! On top of the food being great the view was amazing!! We will definitely return to try more of the delicious menu options and enjoy the fantastic Baltimore city view!
AWESOME FOOD, AWESOME SERVICE, AWESOME EXPERIENCE!.
we were celebrating our 32nd anniversary the wait staff was exceptional we put our self into his hands and we were not disappointed from the appetizer through to the desert.
We had a wonderful experience at The ByGone restaurant. The atmosphere was charming and we loved the music! We would like to comment on our breakfast server. She was a lovely young woman, friendly, efficient , with a delightful manner.
The Service was impeccable. Our waiter, Ernie was professional, attentive, accomodating, and had a great sense of hospitality.
The food was delicious and in general, the ambiance was Beautiful.
Fabulous bar/lounge. Restaurant is beautiful but misses the mark on food. If you charge outrageous prices you have to back it up with flawless fare and service. Love and frequent all their other properties. Will not return to this one.
Wonderful experience at Bygone. Food, service and ambience were off the charts. Only issue was poor service in bar which is a shame because of the world class view of the Baltimore inner harbor. We attempted to get a pre-dinner cocktail and after 15 minutes decided to just go to our table for dinner. Highly recommend truffle chicken - absolutely amazing! Highly recommend for a special occasion or first class night out.
Food was good and well displayed. Let's face it though, your paying for the ambiance at Bygone. With that said, it was a wonderful place to have Sunday brunch.
Excellent food, excellent service with a fantastic view.
Champagne is not included as a bottomless option. Very disappointing for the price and caliber of the restaurant. Service was adequate. Would not recommend. Save yourself the time and money and go to the st Regis or four seasons in dc.
We were not told duck would take 45-60minutes because “we had been there before” so it was assumed we knew?! After we had been waiting 65 minutes.
Not what you would expect from such s high end restaurant.
Well, I went back after saying I would not - because of the view. We tried to eat in bar but that didn't work out on a Saturday night. Same things still wrong - cold popovers and coffee. I had the small prime rib and was fine with it. We had a couple of appetizers - cauliflower and scallops that were good. the others said they like their meals - scallops and wagyu beef.
We had, in my opinion, the worst kind of service. Haughty, condescending and with no real knowledge. This place really should "up their game" but then I don't suppose they have to - because of the view.
It was amazing
Wow!!!! That is the exact word to describe the view from the 29th floor, personal service from the the whole staff, quality and presentation of food and the experience! It was my first time there and brought my two out of state college friends for a dual experience--fine dining and the view of Baltimore skyline and harbor all in one. The elevator ride was quick, the elevator staff was so entertaining. It is fine dining so it is pricey but we expected that. The table side type of menu was very entertaining as well. Our waiter was genuinely friendly and helpful. My friends had the best time! They were impressed! Both thumbs up from all of us!
View and service was great. Kept it safe and ordered the Amish chicken, taste was average.
Great lunch outside - what a view! The food was great, cocktail menu interesting and delicious, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back for dinner/drinks. What a great spot.
The lounge music was blasting to the point that it interrupted the romantic evening i had planned
Meh, very expensive - spectacular view, but the attitude in there was like making you feel like you’re lucky to be allowed there. Bartender (bald guy) very rude.
There’s better food around town, better value and better service. But a better view you won’t find, if that’s important.
10th Wedding Anniversary. Outstanding everything was on point. Alex, our serve, and his team were very attentive. The food was delicious and innovative. The table side flambé added a great touch. We have been here now four times. It never changes, always a grown & sexy top notch affair.
The staff were very friendly and pleasant. We had a table near a window wits great view of the city. The appetizer and salads were very good as was the dinner.
Had a reservation, got there 5 to 10 min before and wanted a window table. Asked to wait at the bar but ended up waiting for 30 min with no check in from host. Did not feel well attended to initially but service at dinner was good
The hostess was exceptional. We had a difficult time choosing the perfect table and she was so accommodating and understanding. The waiter was also very professional. I love the ambience. The food was tasty but I think overly priced.
Great food with the best view in the city.
So yesterday, I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. The ambiance was amazing and the view of the city was breathtaking. The service was weird to me. We had multiple people assisting us throughout the night which I didn’t mind. However, only one of them introduced themselves which was the person who took our orders. Someone else bought the food out and at the end of the night another person gave us the check. The first server/ waiter did shake my hand and wish me a Happy Birthday. The food was pretty good. It wasn’t anything to jump up and down about. I ordered lamb and my fiancé ordered the red snapper. He was disappointed at the fact it was only crawfish and it was the smallest one they could find. Overall, I didn’t feel special dinning at this restaurant. I didn’t want the song and dance like Outback Steakhouse but I would have loved a small complementary dessert with a candle. A scoop of ice cream and a brownie goes a long way. I would definitely recommend going to restaurant for the ambiance, drinks and dancing in the bar area only.
My wife and I celebrated our four year anniversary. We had a wonderful experience. I wish we could’ve gotten a seat closer to the window, but we had a nice view where we were seated. Great food, service, and experience. We will be back.
The worst experience in my life. Awful service, waited for food for hours. Came to celebrate our marriage. Initially were given a bad table (but the reservation was made two months in advance with a note that the occasion is special). Such a disappointment. They ruined our special day. There is nothing more I can tell.
David was an excellent waiter
Very upscale and classy . Will definitely come back again. The food was delicious.
Superior dining and service. It gets no better...
