Bygone’s warm & welcoming atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-school social club, while our open rotisserie grill, whiskey bar & craft cocktails add a flair that is contemporary.
Excellent service. Best waitress. Food was not great.
Great time!
Birthday dinner,ambiance was unmatched
Best service I have received from my experiences in fine dining. I would definitely go again for special occasions and recommend everyone to try this place at least once! Thank you Bygone!
You pay for the view but nothing but the view in the end it’s not worth it..
Phenomenal service and ambiance. Wished main course vegetarian options were more plentiful. Will be back!
Good food, good service, good view.
Very recommended for special occasion
Wonderful atmosphere. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful views of the city at sunset.
Portions of my Maine lobster were quite small I thought although the presentation, view and service were outstanding. Taste was good but not exceptional as I would have expected.
Lovely treat. Thanks for the wonderful evening Bygone. Food was wonderful... recommend the martini.
Service, food, ambience, everything was lovely. Would definitely recommend for a special event or a nice date night.
Beautiful views, amazing food and service!!
Great atmosphere, small tables if you don’t ask for a 4 top, they forgot about us when we were first seated but the rest of the service was wonderful to make up for it. Overall a great dining experience for a special occasion.
I came to this restaurant for the view which is simply amazing. The drinks were great. The food was superb. The service was above and beyond.
We had high expectations and unfortunately they were not met. The drinks beforehand outside proved to be lovely. Then for dinner, our service was not at all timely and we were disappointed by the quality of our very expensive meal. Neither my husband nor myself felt that our dinners even tasted good. We feel as though we do not need to go back. Very sad.
We went for Easter brunch as a group of 5 and had a wonderful time! We hadn’t been to Bygone since before Covid and we were so happy to be back. Drinks and food were great as always! It was not too crowded at all and we spent about 2.5 hours. Can’t wait to go back again!
Love this place! Portion size can be on the small side but overall awesome
My fiancé and I had the most amazing dinner the night before our wedding at the bygone, just the two of us. Service was top notch, we felt so taken care of! They even gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate! The food was outstanding! The views were incredible! We can’t wait to come back and have drinks at the bar next time! Thank you for a memorable evening!
Good food. Great service.
Outstanding service, excellent entrees. Highly recommend the bourbon and rye selection.
I was mad i couldnt get a window seat to enjoy the view which was one of my mai reasons to go, but everyone that came in after me did. Besides that the food was good.
My lobster was a bit bland tasting compared to other plates at our table, and a much smaller portion. However, the atmosphere and staff were excellent.
Food was not good it was spoiled. The decor was excellent. First and last time.
Ann was amazing great recommendations food was outstanding. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you Ann :)
The food is not good/tasty at all.
It was my 40th birthday and my party was running late. The restaurant was accommodating to my time change and still worked out seating me late. The view was beautiful and I enjoyed the half chicken (yuummm). The food took a while to come to the table and the lamb portion that one of my friends had, was not comparable to the price. The place was very busy and noisy so it was hard to talk at the table but overall it was a good experience. The waiter was very nice and respectful but he was still a little off. Maybe it was because the restaurant was super busy. We ended up coming back later for the bar so overall I enjoyed myself.
I planned a very special night for my boyfriend. Unfortunately, the 'special' part of our celebration was tuned out by a horrible waiter, inability to accommodate the simplest of requests, and the lack of any flexibility regarding the menu.
We thought our reservation would provide a great view of the harbor, but that wasn't a given.
The main concern we had was the minimal items on the menu for vegetarians. The waiter said don't worry at all and that he would pull out all the stops for us since it was a very special occasion and that he also was a vegetarian so he understood. We mentioned that there was only one entrée item for vegetarians and were there any other options. He said, outside of the appetizer option, that is all that they had. They changed the menu (where there were other vegetarian options) days before our arrival but after the reservation was made. We were trying to keep the mood light so we asked about the one vegetarian appetizer.
When he returned again, we put in our order for the only vegetarian entrée on the menu. I would have thought that the price of the meals here meant that they were able to whip up something basic for vegetarians but that wasn't the case and they were unyielding in trying to give any options whatsoever. Our food arrived and the vegetarian option, the only one, did not look appetizing at all. Basically was a bowl of vegetable soup, some hard noodles and vegetables, one egg cut in half, and two small pieces of tofu that were super salty. The half boiled egg was runny so I asked if they could provide a fully cooked egg... He said no, the meals were prepared in the morning and nothing could be done. I asked if they could just put it in the microwave or and he said no. I was baffled but ended up scooping the runny part- gross! So to fully understand, this place isn't any better than a normal chain restaurant who prepares meals that are warmed up vs capable chefs to make anything on the fly or fresh from the kitchen
We had a very nice anniversary celebration. The food was very tasty and the service was on excellent. We enjoyed our dinner very much.
They changed chefs and lost everything about it that made it special
Great experience. The food was good. Especially the scallops.
The drinks, food, and view was amazing. I will definitely be back.
The quality of the ingredients really showed in the final dishes. Felt like our waiter was a little overwhelmed because as our meal went on we saw him less as more people were being seated. The Rockfish ceviche was too die for. Don’t know if our expectations were just too high, thought it was going to be a romantic dinner, but it was enjoyable and definitely worth trying, but won’t go back for dinner due to the noise level.
New menu is not worth it anymore.
The service and server was outstanding.the garden salad was not worth very tiny size.overall everything else was perfect.will come back.
Food was delicious, server was amazing, great whiskey selection, mixed drinks on point. Definitely would go back for special occasions. It's definitely expensive but 100% worth it
Bygone was recommended by a family member. I was unable to get dinner reservations while in town so I opted for brunch and we were not disappointed. Our server Rachel was phenomenal and the view made the experience that much better.
An amazing Brunch and Birthday celebration. The Brunch menu was limited but items provided were well chosen. Beautiful ambiance, gorgeous cocktails and exquisite views. romantic tables for two and lounge like seating along the windows with group seating within the interior and outdoors (patio) all separated just so. Something for any 5 star occasion.
Great everything! Our waitress Rachael was very accommodating and attentive. View from our table was amazing.
Great location great service me and my fiancé we enjoyed our dinner. Prices acceptable. Strongly recommend
All around excellence!
