Bygone’s warm & welcoming atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-school social club, while our open rotisserie grill, whiskey bar & craft cocktails add a flair that is contemporary.
Beautiful views even with the rain. Tonic tasted flat in my drink but that is the only negative. All else was amazing.
It was our anniversary. We had a 7:30 reservation and didn’t get our order until around 9:00 an hour and a half. Then was told this isn’t normal for this to happen. The place wasn’t all that crowded. People coming in after us leaving and getting served before us. Not a good experience for our first time there.
The manager was rude. Otherwise place was nice but employees poorly trained. Not going back. Thank you
The new menu is very limited. Chicken was bland. Please go back to old menu. That was my second occasion visiting and it wasn’t a good experience. Please bring back old chef!
It wasn’t the worst, however it definitely was not the best. All the staff was friendly and welcoming, however for the money spent and with this restaurant being inside the Four Seasons hotel I just expected more. The menu is very limited. My husband was not able to get any desert because two of the three deserts had cheese and he doesn’t eat cheese, and the third option was something with chocolate mousse which he isn’t a fan of. There were no sides to order on the menu. I have eaten at a many of upscale restaurants and if ordering sides were not an option your entree would come with sides as sort of a garnishment to the dish (maybe mashed or roasted potatoes underneath the meat of choice or I have also seen vegetables such as brussel sprouts used), I just was not expecting just a plate of meat. Then they had all the minorities sitting together over in a corner behind curtains and all the white people sitting together in the restaurant in the middle of the restaurant. I didn’t make a huge fuss just took a mental note and would see how the rest of the my experience would go. The waitress was nice just ignorant about the drinks and food on the menu. I gave it a good star rating, thinking back it was actually awful. Needless to say I won’t be returning.
It was celebration of Father’s Day. Absolutely great experience.
Great food. Quick and Attentive staff. 10/10 would recommend
The ambiance and the view were definitely a big draw. Our disappointment was that even after reserving several weeks in advance and specifically requesting a table with a view, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. We would have appreciated a heads up that the table we requested was not available. We came for brunch so the food was okay but not superior to other brunch places. We plan to see if the dinner offerings are different.Service was great.
Service was phenomenal, food was tasteful, and ambiance was elegant. Would highly recommend!!!
Overall the experience was nice. The ambience was beautiful. The food was great and out server was exceptional. Only thing I didn’t like was how noisey the bar/lounge was down the hall. We had a dinner reservation after 10 and although we had very good seating in the far right corner, the music was vey loud.
Celebrated our anniversary and the staff were so kind. They wished us a happy anniversary, gave us a beautiful table and a champagne toast. Our server Rachel was hilarious, and we appreciate how hard everyone was working while they are dealing with masking and covid. It's not an easy time for restaurants right now, and we could not get over how amazing everyone treated us this weekend. Will highly recommend this place to anyone who asks!!
Extraordinary experience from beginning to end. Our waitress was knowledgeable and engaging, as were the rest of the professionals. Will enthusiastically return.
We made reservations a month in advance requesting a table with a view in a low traffic area, and where they attempted to seat us upon arrival was anywhere but that. We demanded a better table, and after a while we got it.
We then went on to pay over $400 for two fish dinners that combined would not satisfy one adult, including a $145 bottle of wine recommended by a "sommelier" whom I doubt could spell the word any better than he performed the function. A familiar white burgundy I would have chosen without his recommendation would have tasted better and cost slightly less, but a host/manager came around to assure us the sommelier had chosen wisely - which I knew was a false reassurance as soon as I heard him say basically the same thing to diners at another table drinking a rosé that in my estimation only the tasteless would imbibe.
I'm not saying $400+ is too much to pay for dinner and wine for two - I've paid more - but for that amount I expect a level of dining experience that Bygone did not deliver: for half the price, in fact, I would have still felt ripped off.
Amazing view, great service, but overpriced food.
The ambiance and view of the Bygone is spectacular, unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the food. The food does not taste good, in fact there is little taste at all. Everything is really bland.
Can’t say enough good things about this place or the food. They knock it out of the park every time. Some of the staff adorned Pride pins and that level of company support goes a LONG way. The manager, Chris, made several stops at our table to check in and he truly put every bow tie onto each situation to make the experience, food, and drink perfect. Thanks for all you do!
Great food, drinks, and environment. Will definitely go again.
It was a perfect dining experience; I will recommend this to my friends ; 100 % excellent in terms of service and most especially the view at the 29 th floor was impressive.
For a fine dining place, I expected the overall service to be better. Compare to the Charleston, here is less organized and the wait staff is not properly trained to the fine dining level. For food is not too bad.
Good ambiance and amazing food. Definitely look forward to coming back.
It’s was amazing our waiter Chris was amazing he made our experience the best
Okay experience but our server did not mention any details about the menu and was not very attentive
This was my very First time going to the bygone and I would say that the experience was the one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant!!! I will be recommending my friends and family to book a reservation in the future!!
Bygone was just as expected. The absolute best feature about it is the view, simply amazing. The customer service was top tier as well. I really loved our waiter Chris and how he really catered to our needs and was able to accommodate us. I will be returning here again for sure.
Great place will be back enjoyed everything food was wonderfully cooked waitress was on point the cocktails were great
The entire experience from the moment we got off the elevator and was greeted by staff was beyond exceptional!! The staff , service and food was great!!
Great place to have a date night. Every one was nice and friendly and the food was great. The view was amazing
Food was good, though I have been to upscale restaurants with better value volume of food. For the price your paying for the view and atmosphere. Not much else to say.
Best food and ambiance in Baltimore City, with beautiful dining and outside balcony views
Incredible experience! The ambiance, the service, the food...all were superb!
Service was great
The view is spectacular
Everything was done with Perfect timing
Our experience was perfect from the moment we were greeted downstairs to the moment we left. Our server was incredible and the chef even made us a vegan meal + sorbet and berry dessert that was so delicious. We were told that the vegetables and mushrooms used were local from their farm. Loved it!! Thank you to the Bygone team!
Excellent ambiance. Food is mediocre. Service at the time was a bit slow.
not sure if or how the dress code is being enforced. there were several gentlemen wearing t-shirts and ladies in ripped jeans showing half of their legs. Hardly can call it elegant (subjective opinion, of course). I assume, shorts are acceptable nowadays as well.
From a personal experience, when I was wearing a button down dress shirt with a banded stand collar, I was denied entry due to the collar not being folded, which I found ridiculous.
But overall, it’s still one of our favorite spots with an exquisite view.
Will definitely be coming back, just not having to worry about the new quite relaxed dress code.
Amazing Birthday experience with impeccable service! Will definitely come again!
This was one of the most incredible restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food was fantastic, and the service matched it. Rich was a wonderful server and made great recommendations, would definitely request him if going back!
Food choices was limited absolutely made sense.
It was my friend birthday. The food was awesome, the service was outstanding. I love our server. She was pleasant, attentive and very helpful
Beautiful views of Baltimore and the inner harbor. Great food and great service.
So good! The views are incredible and the food was delicious
