Bygone’s warm & welcoming atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-school social club, while our open rotisserie grill, whiskey bar & craft cocktails add a flair that is undoubtedly contemporary.

Very upscale and classy . Will definitely come back again. The food was delicious.
Superior dining and service. It gets no better...
Bygone has a great atmosphere and good food. The service there is top notch.
our server was probably not ready for a saturday night schedule, but they helped and discounted our bill. we would return.
The food was delicious, and so was the ambiance and the view! But they definitely need much improvement to their service and attitude!
In general, Bygones is a great place - nice food, wonderful ambiance, albeit pricey. But we were disappointed in two things on our most recent visit - 1) the rockfish was not particularly fresh; it had a slight fishy taste; and 2) the ladies room was not well maintained. So we are hoping this was just an aberration. We will be giving it another chance.
This was my second visit to Bygone. I must say that the food is excellent. The view is spectacular. However, for the second time the service left me wanting more. My friends and I were a half-hour early for our reservation so we could get a drink at the bar. We found a table and sat down. The bar waitress came over and cleared the table and brought us water. She left the drink menu and then said she would be "right back." A half-hour later she hadn't returned and it was time for our reservation so we just got up and went to our table. For a restaurant with this kind of price-point I would expect more!
Exceptional view & setting for that Special evening
Great food and service
Great views, ambience, and menu!
Amazingly personal attention. Wonderful food and presentation. Would definitely go again.
Amazing food, staff, location, atmosphere, and venue. Anyone looking for a very fancy dinner for any occasion I would highly recommend it. Be warned it is expensive but so very worth it
The service, the attention was great. Along with the view and the quality of the food and wine list definitely made our anniversary celebration special!
This was my husband's and I first time at the Bygone. Its was our Anniversary. We were presented with a personal card thanking us for our visit, as well as a complimentary glass of champagne. The presentation was outstanding. We were escorted to the outside patio where we asked to sit. That wasnt the best idea. Sitting outside, you seem to be forgotten. We were explained that the food does take some time to be served. We didnt think that time would be an hour before we even received our appetizer. By the time we recieved our food the sun had went down and the lights from the city were very visible and beautiful. There were no lights on the patio area in which we were sitting so we technically ate our food in darkness. The table behind us, were saying some racial comments that made the entire experience uncomfortable. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly over all. If we were to return to the bygone it would have to be under better circumstances
Exceeded our expectations!!! We will be back again
Very expensive meal, but almost worth every penny. Food was delicious. Atmosphere is incredible, and the view is unbeatable. Only wish we would have been seated by the window where we could see the view. We were seated at a window, but off the deck, so you couldn't really see out. However, the food made up for that. Absolutely a special meal I will remember for a VERY long time.
What an experience. Fine dining at its finest! Exquisite, sophisticated, and superb are the best three adjectives to describe Bygone. I was throughly impressed by the cuisine. The service was outstanding. This place is over the top! We will be returning.
We had a wonderful Lunch Date. The view is fabulous. The Staff exceptional & the food delicious! We went back the the Bar the next day for Cocktails! Well worth the Price! Highly Recommend!
I would only recommend for the drinks and view. The restaurant took 30 min past my 845 reservation to seat my party. We then were seated and the entire pitcher of water was spilled on the table and wife's dress/purse. Then the lobster bisque came out very dark bland and terrible taste we had to send it back. The filet was ordered medium and showed up very well done. This was an overall bad experience we also waited over 20 min for the waitress to come back to the table after the water was spilled and table cloths were changed to order another drink! No apologies were given by staff or management.
We wanted to celebrate a special occasion at a very nice location. Bygone offers great views, pricey food for mediocre value (taste to price ratio is off), and nice ambience. It checked some of our boxes but did leave much to be desired. Our server was distracted, didn’t remember to refill our wine etc. We were also seated by the kitchen so the view was disappointing. The appetizers were excellent but their dessert was not. In the future I would go to the bar and not recommend the restaurant.
I would recommend it for drinks and dinner not for breakfast , our server seamed new, the mimosas took forever another sever took over , since he realized we were there for breakfast and our order was still not in. My order came out wrong, so by the time he was done eating, my food came out and it was a poor presentation . The server at the end made it better since he helped me with the anniversary suprise gift .
There are definitely better places in the city for breakfast with way better presentations. We go to a lot of places so for the food its 2 stars
Spectacular views; great liquor selection; bartender skills great; food overpriced; my steak was not that good - I should have sent it back for longer cooking but didn't. I would like to come back to have drinks out on the balcony and maybe get appetizers and/or dessert.
Everything was great! Up scale atmosphere, customer service fantastic, food delicious, and it was my first time there. I have no complaints. I definitely will be back very soon!
The name is correct, I should have known it would be outdated decor when I got on the elevator with red velvet walls. this place needs to be seriously updated and made contemporary. But most importantly it is a colossal rip off. We paid 270$ for 4 people for brunch, I almost passed out. Absolutely sinful and the food is NOT WORTH IT. This is a tourist trap, DO NOT GO HERE. It needs to be completely restyled and made much cheaper or better quality food for that outrageous amount.
SAVE YOURSELF MONEY.
Great service, delicious food, wonderful drinks, awesome view of the City. Need deep pockets though. Our meal for 4 (splurging with appetizers, drinks and dessert in all fairness) was almost $500 before tip. If that's OK with you, you will not be disappointed. Its a great place to go for a dress-up dinner.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Bygone and had a wonderful time. The staff went the extra mile to make certain we felt comfortable and had a special evening.
The food was excellent—I highly recommend the beef Wellington and the Baked Alaska—and the view amazing.
As always food was second to none. Service is usually the same, except this last visit. We were not greeted in the lobby (per the norm) and then treated quite brash by the hostesses, that despite early arrival to a 20% full capacity restaurant, we were seated late. Once we spoke to the manager, he made things right and our night was fabulous. I feel the hiccup at the beginning of our evening was probably an anomaly.
An experience I will never forget. Every one was very professional and nice. I can’t wait to come again. Food was exquisite. Keep doing what you doing.
Always an amazing experience here
This isn't your local diner, not by a long shot. It is a "destination" restaurant, perfect for special occasions. On the top floor of the swank Four Seasons hotel in Baltimore, it offers amazing views of the inner harbor, a great surround bar with windows on three sides, and in the dining room section a quiet and luxurious ambiance with great menu featuring gourmet dishes of yesteryear like popovers, Beef Wellington, Crab Louis salad. Expensive--very--but worth it for a very special and memorable dining experience.
Great atmosphere, food and solid service. A good time was had by all.
The food and view were terrific. Our waiter made recommendations for our courses that we took and were impressed with his understanding of the menu and ability to thread different items together into a complete dining experience.
Everything about this place was AMAZING! The service was by far the best. Definitely a 5 star restaurant all the way around. You have to try the Cajun cauliflower it's so good!
Great atmosphere, great staff. Definitely will be back.
Overall the meal was good. We had the Waygu and Chilean sea bass. The fish was better then the steak, but solely based on how they were prepared. The ambience was very hip and all the servers in the bar area was very plastic in appearance. But after 9pm they transform to a night club with bottle service, so plastic made woman is the typical scene. The only thing I thought was off putting was before we went up to the restaurant on the elevator the bouncer/off-duty police officer/elevator operator need to make sure we were dressed appropriately. This was very obvious when he look both my wife and me up and down. Just seemed strange this was required, even though I always check to see what the dress code is for a upscale restaurant.
Great experience as always. Nikita our server was fantastic.
Look forward to our next visit.
Food was delicious and we enjoyed having a drink on the porch after dinner. Views of the harbor are great and we had a beautiful sunset. The service was very disappointing. Our drink order took a long time to receive and was not complete. We had to ask for pepper, and more water, the waiter was not very attentive. With that said, the person who delivered our oysters was very friendly and the people who cleared our plates were efficient and nice. The waiter was not professional.
Host staff and waitress were unenthusiastic. I totally understand that there was a heat wave but it was clear no one wanted to be at work.
Our waitress let me sit with an empty drink in excess of twenty minutes. Poor experience and we will not be going back any time soon.
