The food was good, but overpriced in my view. Two people and the bill is over 300 AUD, which is like a 5-star fine dining price, but the experience is somewhere between a normal everyday restaurant and a hatted fine dining place. Therefore, I was a little taken aback by the bill. You probably can find a similar experience overall for 50-60% of 300 AUD.

Great quality sushi. Nigiri & sushi rolls were delicious. Duck was good, tender, tasty. The cauliflower sprouts were average & out of sync with the quality of the other dishes. Our waiter was generous with his service. Parking was easy. I would return.

We had a team dinner there and we really loved the personalised menus. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Amazing wine list too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went there for lunch and was warmly greeted. The food was good, however the gyoza wasn't up to standard compared to the quality of all the other dishes we have ordered. Also, I was quite disappointed as I had wanted to do the tasting menu but it wasn't available during lunch. It wasn't stated anywhere in the website that the tasting menu was only available for dinner. Otherwise, it was a nice lunch.

Experience was lovely. Unfortunately their new location isn’t updated for Uber trips — ended up at their previous location & could’ve walked from where I was to where they are currently. There’s no restrooms in the physical restaurant and was given a key to walk around the entire building in order to use a BOH restroom. Even having to deal with this, the staff was pleasant and the food was incredibly tasteful.

An average dining experience which was disappointing. Firstly, we had to order from QR codes and pay on the spot which is something that cheapens the dining experience for the price point. We ordered the 16 piece sashimi platter, which did not include scallop as mentioned in the online menu when ordering. It was replaced with snapper. Although the scallops were added on after we raised this issue with the team, an excuse was made that the "sashimi inclusions depend on the market availabilities" and that the "snapper was better anyways" which isn't what was advertised. The lamb cutlets and wagyu were served lukewarm which was disappointing, but they were cooked well. The chimichurri served with the Wagyu was not a proper chimichurri and should not be advertised as such. It was more of a was diced onion and parsley/coriander salsa. The miso toothfish was also cooked well but very one dimensional in flavour in the claypot. Agedashi tofu and prawn tempura were nice. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for a place which we have heard raving reviews about. Perhaps it is due to having gone at lunch and not dinner which had a limited menu offering. However, the issue with sashimi could have been handled better with the team accepting responsibility rather than trying to make up excuses, and the meats should have been served fresh and warm. Also, this was a special occasion and it did not feel like extra effort was made to help us celebrate.

Really excellent food and service and great ambiance. Sushi was fresh and delicious Tiger prawns were fresh and crispy The fish donburi was flavorful Service was good where staff came to check on us

We had an early Mother’s Day celebration and it was wonderful! Everything was exceptional and we even got a little gift for the occasion 😍 All the dishes were fantastic but we highly recommend the glacier toothbrush donburi dish 😋 We will definitely return to try other dishes!

We were looking forward to the opening of By Sang in our area and visited it for the opening night. Food was lovely and the service impeccable. The ambiance is cosy and elegant. Overall, a wonderful addition to our local foody scene!
